THE ACTIONS OF GOD
“…THERE ARE THREE that bear record in heaven, the Father, the
Word, and the Holy Ghost:
and THESE THREE
ARE ONE “…THERE IS NO GOD, BUT ONE…” (1
JOHN 5:7 KJV).

“…THERE IS NO GOD, BUT ONE…” (1 JOHN 5:7 KJV). We have discussed God, the Father; God, the
Word, and God, the Holy Spirit.
From this perspective, it is thought that
the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit are all God, but are different
expressions of his Holy nature and power.
God, the Father expresses his Holy nature
and power through his thoughts (unspoken words). God, the Word expresses his
Holy nature and power through his words (spoken thoughts). God, the Holy
Spirit, expresses his Holy nature and power through his actions. There are
three different expressions of God, but ALL God.
THERE IS LIQUID, ICE, AND STEAM, BUT THEY
ALL EXPRESSIONS OF H2O.
God, the Holy Spirit, in agreement with
his words (unspoken & spoken), does the WORK. When God’s thoughts, his
word, and his Holy Spirit work together and are in agreement, they create
reality.
God, the Holy Spirit CONFIRMS his Word,
which is meant to strengthen trust and dependency upon him. “… Jesus
answered, and said…This is the work of God (the
Holy Spirit), that ye
believe [Trust in or depend upon] him whom he hath sent.”
(John 6:29 KJV). “…This beginning of miracles (work of the Holy Spirit)
did Jesus … and his disciples believed on (depended upon) him…” (JOHN 2:10-12 KJV). “…his
disciples [depended upon] him…”
(JOHN 2:10-12 KJV).
God, the Holy Spirit’s ACTIONS give
credibility and confirmation to God’s WORD. “…God publicly endorsed (confirmed)
Jesus (the Word of God) the Nazarene by doing
powerful miracles, wonders, and signs through
him, as you well know. …”
(ACTS 2:22 KJV). “… Believe me that I am
in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake (the works
of the Holy Spirit)…” (John 14:11 KJV).
God, the Holy Spirit faithfully confirms
his OWN WORD by DOING the WORK “in” and “through” Jesus. “…the Father that dwelleth in me, he
doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV).
God, the Holy Spirit, confirms his WORD
“in” and “through” his disciples too. “…The
disciples went everywhere and preached, and the Lord worked through them, confirming what they said by
many miraculous signs…”
(Mark 16:20 KJV). “…The …HOLY SPIRIT …is the SOURCE [that CONFIRMS
his WORD]. … …
(1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT “…The HOLY SPIRIT
DISPLAYS God’s power (supernatural ACTIONS) THROUGH each of us …
(1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “…The Father that dwelleth in me, he
doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV).
The DISPLAYS of God, the Holy Spirit’s
supernatural actions serve a purpose. “…
the disciples went everywhere and
preached, and the Lord worked through them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs…” (Matthew
16:20 NLT). “… God confirmed the message by giving signs and wonders and various
miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit whenever he chose…” (Hebrews 2:4
NLT).
The supernatural ACTIONS of God, the Holy
Spirit, are performed to confirm God’s Word. What important ACTION
did God, the Holy Spirit perform that CONFIRMED his WORD as SAVIOR?
First, of ALL, God has
ALWAYS established himself as SAVIOR. “.. They (God’s people) shall make supplication unto thee, saying,
Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God…O God of Israel,
the
Saviour…” (Isaiah
45:14-15 KJV). “..Ye (God’s people) are
my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant
whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am
he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even
I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved …the Lord (the word), your redeemer, the Holy One of
Israel …I am the Lord (the word), your Holy One,
the creator of Israel, your King…: (Isaiah 43:10-15 KJV). “….all flesh shall
know that I the LORD (the
word of god) am thy Saviour
and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob…” (Isaiah 49:26 KJV). “…Thou shalt know that I the LORD (the word of god) am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of
Jacob…” (Isaiah 60:16
KJV). “…He became their Savior…” (Isaiah 63:8 NASB). “…beside me there is no savior…” (Isaiah 43:10-15 KJV).
“… “I AM WHO I AM
’ This is My name forever, and this is My memorial-name to all generations…”
(Exodus 3:14-15 NASB). “…I am the Lord,
the God of all flesh…” (Jeremiah 32:27 KJV). "… I am the
Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God…" (Revelation 1:8
NASB). “… I, the LORD … the first, and
with the last. I am He...'"
(Isaiah 41:4 NASB). “...The lord is GOOD…there is none good but one, that is,
God” (Nahum 1:7 & Mark 10:18 KJV). “…God is love…” (1 John 4:4-8 KJV). “… I, the Lord,
am
your healer…”
(Exodus 15:26). “… I AM HOLY…” (1
Peter 1:14-16 KJV). And, “There is none holy as the Lord…” (1
Samuel 2:2 KJV). “…God is the one
who provides …” (2
Corinthians 9:10-13 KJV). “… God will supply all [your need]…” (Philippians
4:19 NASB). “… [God] … will keep in perfect
peace all who trust in … [him] … all
whose thoughts are fixed on … [him!]” (Isaiah 26:3 NLT). “….The
Lord is “my”
shepherd ….”
(PSALM 23:1-3 NLT). “… THE
LORD … is Your rock and Your
fortress, your deliverer, Your GOD, Your rock, in whom [you] … take refuge; Your
shield and
the horn of Your salvation, YOUR
stronghold.…" (Psalms 18:3 NASB).
“…Thou
shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour …” (Isaiah 60:16 KJV). “…there is none like unto thee…”
(Jeremiah 10:6 KJV).
God DOES NOT change. HE “IS” and will
ALWAYS be SAVIOR!!! “…I am the Lord, I change NOT…”
(Malachi 3:6 KJV). “…Jesus Christ (the WORD OF GOD) is the same yesterday and today and forever”
(Hebrews 13:8 NIV). “… He (Jesus) had a
name written, that no man knew … his name is called The Word of God…”
(Revelation 19:12-13 NASB).
When you say JESUS is your SAVIOR; you are
really SAYING “THE WORD OF GOD” is my SAVIOR. And we KNOW the WORD was God. “…In the beginning
was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God

“…SALVATION
is found in no one else,
for there is no other name (Jesus, the WORD OF GOD) under heaven given to
mankind by which we must be saved…” (Acts 4:12 NIV).
“…And there is SALVATION in no one
else; for
there is no other name (Jesus, the WORD of GOD) under heaven that has been
given among men by which we must be saved…”
(Acts 4:12 NASB). “…There is SALVATION IN NO ONE ELSE…”
(Acts 4:12a NLT).
Is JESUS, the earthen
vessel SAVING you or is JESUS, the WORD of GOD SAVING YOU? “…All things (including your salvation) came
into being through Him (THE WORD)… (John 1:1-4 NASB). “…the Father (also God, the Holy Spirit) that dwelleth in me, he
doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV).
“… [The] Good News about Christ (the WORD of God,
alone)… It is the power of God
… (miraculously), saving everyone who believes
(depends upon his word)…” (Romans 1:16 NLT).
God CONFIRMED that:
1.
Through his WORD, He IS
“STILL” SAVIOR. “… [The
Holy Spirit CONFIRMED through Jesus that God is still seeking] to SAVETHAT WHICH WAS LOST…”
(Luke 19:10 KJV). “…God sent …his Son (his
WORD) … that the
world THROUGH HIM might BE SAVED…” (John 3:17 KJV). “…whosoever
believeth in him (the WORD), should not perish, but have everlasting life…”
(John 3:16 KJV).

Holy Spirit CONFIRMED that Jesus is the] … one
… who can
reconcile
God and humanity…” (1
Timothy 2:5 NLT).

“…[The Holy Spirit CONFIRMED Jesus is
the one who is] the
atoning sacrifice for our sins…” (1 John 2:2 NIV).

“…[The
Holy Spirit CONFIRMED Jesus is] the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the
world” (John 1:29 KJV).

“….[The
Holy Spirit CONFIRMED that Jesus] CAME not to be served but to serve others and TO GIVE HIS LIFE as
a ransom for many…" (Matthew 20:28).

Holy Spirit CONFIRMED, through Jesus, that God is] NOT WILLING that any should perish,
but that ALL should come to repentance…” (2 Peter 3:9 KJV).

CONFIRMED that Jesus] CAME that [you] may have life, and have it abundantly….”
(John 10:10 KJV). “… [God,] the Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE…”

Spirit] IS SPIRIT…” (John
4:24 KJV). “…God [the
Holy Spirit] …sent forth the Spirit of His Son (WORD) “INTO” [Y]OUR HEARTS…”
(Galatians 4:6 NASB). “…God [the Holy Spirit] has given
[you] HIS Spirit as PROOF that … he [dwells]…in [you]…” (1 John 4:13 NLT).
God, the HOLY SPIRIT, does NOT do the WORK
of God to PROVE, DEBATE, CONVINCE, DEFEND, or INTELLECTUALIZE with humanity
about what he can or cannot, but he does the WORK so THEY will know he is the
LORD, their God! “…I’ve also
done it… so you will know that I am the Lord (the word)…” (Exodus
10:1-2 NLT). “….I the LORD (the word)am thy Saviour and
thy Redeemer…”
(Isaiah 49:26 KJV). “… [He has CONFIRMED his WORD or] done [those
miracles] … so you will know that [He is] the Lord…” (Exodus 10:1-2 NLT). “…Your rock and Your
fortress, your deliverer, Your GOD, Your rock, in whom [you can] … take refuge; Your
shield and
the horn of Your salvation, YOUR
stronghold …[YOUR SAVIOR].…" (Psalms 18:3 NASB).
God, the Holy Spirit, CONFIRMS THE WORD and “IS” the SOURCE that brings EVERYTHING
into EXISTENCE.. “… THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE WAS FORMED at God’s [WORD] …” (Hebrews 11:3
NLT).“…
what we now SEE (ALL EXISTENCE) did not come from
anything that can be SEEN (but by the WORK of the “INVISIBLE” Holy
Spirit)…” (Hebrews 11:3 NLT).
“….Then
you will know that [he is] the Lord your God…’” (Exodus 16:12 NLT).
“…Your rock
and Your fortress, your deliverer, Your GOD, Your rock, in whom [you can] … take refuge; Your
shield and
the horn of Your salvation, YOUR
stronghold…[YOUR SAVIOR]…"
(Psalms 18:3 NASB).
God, the Holy Spirit, starts WORKING,
EVERY single time the WORD (unspoken and spoken) is HEARD.
Thus, God, the Holy Spirit, WORKS on
behalf of the WORD’s commands.
God, the Holy Spirit, CONFIRMS the
miracle-performing POWER of the Word and confirms its TRUSTWORTHINESS. “…All your commands are TRUSTWORTHY…”
(PSALM 119:86 NLT). “…This hope is a
strong and TRUSTWORTHY anchor for our souls…” (HEBREWS 6:19 NLT). “Everything you have heard … is TRUSTWORTHY
and true…” (REVELATION 22:6 NLT).
God, the Holy Spirit WON’T EVER DISAPPOINT,
because it will ALWAYS confirm his WORD. “…the
Scripture says, "WHOEVER
[depends upon or trusts in] HIM (Jesus, the Word) WILL NOT BE
DISAPPOINTED…" (ROMANS 10:11 NASB). “…In You (God) they trusted (depended upon) and WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED…. (PSALMS 22:5 NASB).
THUS, YOU CAN“…Trust
in (depend upon) [the WORD], with all thine heart…”
(Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV). “…[God, the
Holy Spirit], “WILL” accomplish (take
care of)…that which concerns [you]…” (John 14:31 NASB). “...Casting all your care upon
him (God, the WORD & God, the Holy Spirit); for he careth for you.” (1 Peter 5:7 KJV).
“…All he does (God, the Holy Spirit) is just and good, and all his [WORDS] are TRUSTWORTHY….”
(PSALMS 111:7 NLT).
“…In the beginning was the
Word …
(John 1:1-4 NASB). From the very beginning God
begin SPEAKING his miracle-performing WORDS.
Those WORDS caused God, the Holy Spirit to
immediately go to WORK bringing the CREATION of the entire universe into
existence. “…In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth…”
(Genesis 1:1 KJV).
“…the invisible things (WORKS done by God,
the Holy Spirit) … from the creation of the world are CLEARLY SEEN…”
(Romans 1:20 KJV).
God, the Holy Spirit “WORKS” through human
flesh, but is NOT human. “…God (the holy
spirit) is not human “…God is Spirit …Does he speak and then not act? Does he
promise and not fulfill…” (Numbers 23:19 NIV & John 4:24 KJV)
“…Not
one of all the LORD's good promises
… failed; every
one was fulfilled (by the
work of the holy spirit)…” (Joshua 21:45 NIV). “…My counsel (WORD)… SHALL stand, and I will do (through the WORK of the
Holy Spirit) all my pleasure…”
(Isaiah 46:10 KJV).
God’s WORDS
(unspoken and spoken) became ACTIONS. “…In the beginning
was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God…” (John 1:1-4 NASB). “…. All things came into being through Him (his THOUGHTS, WORD, & HOLY SPIRIT), and apart from Him (his THOUGHTS, WORD,
& HOLY SPIRIT) nothing came into being that has come into being …
(John 1:1-4 NASB). “…these three agree in one…” (1 John 5:8 KJV).
As we said before, when the
THOUGHTS of God, the WORD of God, and the POWER (Holy Spirit) of God are in
AGREEMENT “all things” come into being.
REALITY, EXISTENCE, BEING, or
CREATION all begin with God’s WORDS (unspoken and spoken), and are CONFIRMED
through the HOLY SPIRIT.
Thus, God, the HOLY SPIRIT works “IN” and
“THROUGH” human vessels CONFIRMING his
WORD by REVOLUTIONIZING and TRANSFORMING their ENTIRE life’s. “…It is God [the holy spirit] who works in you…”
(Philippians 2:13 NIV). “…God [the Holy Spirit] of peace … that great
Shepherd of the sheep, … work[s] in us what is pleasing
to him, through Jesus Christ (the word of god)…”
(Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “…The
God [the Holy Spirit] of peace … that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip[s]
you with everything good for doing his will…”
(Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “… [God, the Holy
Spirit] grant[s]… [true believers]… to be strengthened
with might by his Spirit in the inner man…” (Ephesians 3:16 KJV). “…God [the Holy Spirit] … does the work IN and THROUGH all
of us who are his …[God, the] HOLY
SPIRIT DISPLAYS God’s power THROUGH each of us …” (1 Corinthians
12:4-11 NLT).
You can trust his WORDS and WORKS with all
your heart! “…So … my word … that goeth forth out of my
mouth: it shall
not return unto me void, but it
shall accomplish (by the work of the
holy spirit) that which I please, and
it shall prosper (by the work of the holy spirit) in
the thing whereto I sent it…”
(Isaiah 55:11 KJV).
Thus, “…Eye
hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into [the human]… heart … the things which
God hath prepared for [those who depend upon the WORK of God, the Holy Spirit]....”
(1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV). “…he
(god, the holy spirit) doeth the works…”
(John 14:10 KJV).
“… [God,
the Holy Spirit] is able TO DO
exceeding
abundantly ABOVE all that we ask or think…” (Ephesians 3:20 KJV). “…he doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV).
“…I
am the Lord … God [the Holy
Spirit] of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” (Jeremiah
32:27 KJV).
“…Trust in the Lord (the word) with all thine heart …
In all thy
ways acknowledge him (the Word), and he (the Word) shall direct
thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV). “…The LORD (the Word) will accomplish (through the WORK of the Holy Spirit)…that
which concerns [you]…” (John 14:31 NASB).
God, the Holy Spirit, CONFIRMS his DIVINE
nature and Holy POWER through his ACTIONS! “…so
you will know that [HE “IS”] the Lord…” (Exodus
10:1-2 NLT). “…Then you will
know that [he is] the Lord
your God…’” (Exodus 16:12 NLT).
“…[God]…the
invisible [Holy Spirit]…from the creation of the world is …clearly
seen,
being understood by the things that are made (by the WORK of the HOLY SPIRIT]…”
(Romans 1:20 KJV). “…What we now
SEE did not come from anything that can be SEEN
(the work of the holy spirit)…” (Hebrews
11 NLT). “…he (god, the holy spirit) doeth the works…”
