The secret of TRUE beauty is with the Godly man or woman, but most of them NEVER tap into it. Human beauty/handsomeness is usually limited to the outer beauty/handsomeness and very little praise is given to the inner beauty. God’s beauty is holiness. “… [Outer]…beauty (handsomeness) does not last…” (Proverbs 31:30 NLT). “…Physical BEAUTY (handsomeness) is vain…” (Proverbs 31:30 KJV).

Holiness means God is set apart, separated, and totally and completely removed from sin and darkness. God is “…majestic in holiness…” (Exodus 15:11 KJV).

God has given the Godly man and woman a free, new makeover, by endowing him or her with the beauty of his holiness through Jesus Christ. “…canst thou… array thyself …with BEAUTY? …” (Job 40:9-10 KJV). They couldn't have that kind of INNER beauty without God.“…God is Spirit …” (John 4:24 KJV). “….Apart from [the HOLY SPIRIT], you can do nothing…” (John 15:5 NIV).

BUT, because “…the [HOLY]…Spirit of God dwell[s]… in you…” (Romans 8:9 KJV). “…[and], all things are become new…” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “….[You can]...WALK in NEWNESS of life…” (Romans 6:4 KJV). “… [holy, inner beauty] …. it is the gift of God…” (EPHESIANS 2:8-9 KJV). Therefore, GOD SAID, “…be holy, because I am holy…” (1 Peter 1:16 KJV).  OH…“THE [inner] BEAUTY OF HOLINESS…” (Psalms 29:2 KJV). Thus, “…Let the BEAUTY of the Lord our God be upon [YOU]…” (Psalms 90:17 KJV).  “…God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son “INTO” [the Godly man and woman’s]… HEARTS…” (Galatians 4:6 NASB). “…the Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE…” (John 3:6 NLT). “…[God’s] …Holy Spirit …is the SOURCE [of it ALL]…” (1 Corinthians 12: 4-11 NLT). 

God's HOLY SPIRIT is the SOURCE of "INNER" HOLY beauty that outshines and outlast ANY other kind of BEAUTY or HANDSOMENESS.

Women and men, Christian and non-Christian, spent millions on physical makeovers, or spent hours in the gym, or spent thousands on suits, dress, or the latest fashions, and buy every new weight loss product on the market.

A fortune is spent annually on the quest for some ideology of physical beauty. People who think they don’t meet the cultural “standard of physical beauty” are often depressed and unhappy, both men and women (women especially).

However, men or women who think they DO meet the cultural “standard of physical beauty or handsomeness” learn fast…it doesn’t last and eventually they end up depressed and unhappy like everybody else.

Some research has revealed that 90% of the world’s population is affected by low self-image. In the beginning God said, “….let us make man in our image, after our likeness…” (Genesis 1:26 KJV).  “…..God created man in his own image…..male and female created he them…” (Genesis 1:27 KJV). “….God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul…” (Genesis 2:7 KJV).

When “….God saw every thing he had made……and, behold, it was VERY GOOD…” (Genesis 1:31 KJV). No make-over was necessary. The standard of beauty was God’s HOLY image and everybody had it upon creation. “….God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life…” (Genesis 2:7 KJV).

What marred original, created BEAUTY? “…Through one man sin entered into the world, and …passed to all men…” (Romans 5:12 KJV). “… One sinner destroy[ed]… much good..” (Ecclesiastes 9:18 NASB). “…The…Lord God asked…“What have you done? …“ …” (Genesis 3 NLT).  “…they hid from the Lord God …” (Genesis 3 NLT). “… [their] … iniquities …separated [them]… from [their]… God… …” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV).

“….God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (the Spirit); and man became a living soul…” (Genesis 2:7 KJV). “…God is Spirit…” (John 4:24 NIV). “… [their] … iniquities …separated [them]… from [their]… God… …” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV).

Mankind became SEPARATED from "INNER" HOLY beauty. They could NOT get it BACK without God. “…Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou… Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array (clothe, endow) thyself with glory and  [HOLY INNER] BEAUTY …” (Job 40:9-10 KJV).

They were “…dead in trespasses and sin” (Ephesians 2:1 KJV). AND “….Apart from …[God’s HOLY Spirit], [they could]… do nothing…” (John 15:5 NIV). “…The Lord (the WORD) is ….Spirit…” (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV).

 Sin MARS you, removes the HOLY inner beauty, and the original image is destroyed. “…..God created man in his own image…..male and female created he them…” (Genesis 1:27 KJV). “….God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul…” (Genesis 2:7 KJV). God is “…majestic in holiness…” (Exodus 15:11 KJV). We are to“…worship the Lord in the BEAUTY of holiness…” (2 Chronicles 16:29 KJV). “…He appointed singers unto the Lord …that [they]…should praise the BEAUTY of holiness…” (2 Chronicles 20:21 KJV). “…that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the BEAUTY of the Lord…” (Psalms 27:4 KJV). “….worship the Lord in the BEAUTY of holiness…” (Psalms 29:2 KJV). “…And let the BEAUTY of the Lord our God be upon us…” (Psalms 90:17 KJV). “…The Lord made the heavens. Honour and majesty are before him: strength and BEAUTY are in his sanctuary…” (Psalms 96:5-6 KJV). “…O worship the Lord in the BEAUTY of holiness…” (Psalms 96:9 KJV).

“….God … breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul…” (Genesis 2:7 KJV). Sin, however, separated man and woman from God’s HOLY Spirit and thus from TRUE Beauty. “…God is Spirit…” (John 4:24 NIV).

Therefore, if you are separated from his Holy Spirit, you are separated from TRUE beauty. “…Let the BEAUTY of the Lord our God be upon [you]…” (Psalms 90:17 KJV). “…the BEAUTY of holiness…” (2 Chronicles 16:29 KJV). “…without holiness no one will see the Lord…” (Hebrews 12:14 NIV).

Without God’s Holy Spirit a man or woman WON’T see true BEAUTY in his or herself or others. Without HOLINESS he or she will NEVER SEE true beauty …EVER.

He or she will be limited to chasing after the physical standard of beauty ONLY; the kind that won’t last. “… [Outer]…beauty does not last…” (Proverbs 31:20 NLT).

Adam and Eve “…hid from the Lord God …” (Genesis 3 NLT).   “… [their] … iniquities …separated [them]… from [their]… God… …” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV).  

They were ashamed to be seen, by God, without the covering of his Holy Spirit. Sin ALWAYS separates. “….They suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they … cover[ed] themselves.  ..” (Genesis 3 NLT).

They felt shame, disgrace, humiliation, dishonor, indignity, and embarrassment over their nakedness or the sudden stripping of their covering, which was God’s Holy Spirit.

Many men and women struggle on a daily basis with their image of BEAUTY or HANDSOMENESS, especially BODY image. They feel ashamed or disappointed with the way they look physically. Both men and women HIDE their bodies, in one way or another, all the time. Many have struggled with body image or body satisfaction for days, weeks, months, years, or their WHOLE life.

Body image deals with the way a man or woman perceives his or her own body to be and assume others perceive it that way too. Body image is highly impacted by family, friends, culture, the immediate social community, and the various forms of media.

Millions and millions of men and women are unhappy with at least one aspect of their physical appearance. Over 55 billion dollars are spent annually on weight loss alone or gym fees – in an attempt to change body image.

Men and women, since, the FALL, are still dealing with shame though body image and trying to cover up those parts in which they are ashamed to expose to the public. “….They suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they … cover[ed] themselves.  ..” (Genesis 3 NLT). 

The corruption of BODY image began in the Garden and has perpetuated itself from one generation to another for centuries.

Men and women are always looking for ways to cover his or her body image, but there is no covering for the lost Godly image. “…They suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they … cover[ed] themselves.  ..” (Genesis 3 NLT).

The man or woman can NOT cover his or herself from God. God sees EVERYTHING she or he is trying to cover up; physically and spiritually “….They … cover[ed] themselves.  …they hid from the Lord God.” (Genesis 3 NLT). “…Can anyone hide from me in a secret place? Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and earth?" says the LORD….” (Jeremiah 23:24 NLT). “…Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account…” (Hebrews 4:13 NIV). “…For his eyes are upon the ways of man (woman), and he seeth all his goings…” (Job 34:21 KJV). “…Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?” (Psalms 139:7 KJV). “…they hid from the Lord God...” (Genesis 3 NLT).

God is so full of grace, mercy, and forgiveness; his love demands a way to restore his sons and daughters back to him in the true "INNER" BEAUTY of HOLINESS . “…God hath not called us for uncleanness, but unto holiness…” (1 Thessalonians 4:7 KJV). “…that we might be partakers (participants AGAIN) of his holiness...” (Hebrews 12:10 KJV).  “…Ye shall be holy  (set apart & free from sin) unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine. …” (Leviticus 20:26 KJV). “[SO] put on the new man, which after God is created in …true holiness...” (Ephesians 4:2 KJV).  SO YOU CAN “… be holy in all manner of conversation…” (1 Peter 1:15 KJV). “…the BEAUTY of holiness…” (2 Chronicles 16:29 KJV).

The bible says, ^“…just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people. “Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate (holy),” says the Lord. “ … And do not touch what is unclean…” (2 Corinthians 6:13-17 NASB).

Men and women may spend a LOT of time and personal energy on outer beauty or handsomeness, but God gives very little credit to the physical. “….For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things...” (1 Timothy 4:8 KJV). “…Let [the man and the woman’s adornment]…NOT be the outward adorning of … putting on of apparel…” (1 Peter 3:3 KJV).

 “...God sees NOT as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart…”(1 Samuel 16:7 NASB). God zooms in on the “…hidden man (woman) of the heart…” (1 Peter 3:4 KJV). “…For from within, out of the heart of man (woman), proceed evil thoughts… wickedness… pride...  All these evil things come from within, and defile a person (men and women)…” (Mark 7:21-23 KJV). God knows, the heart can be UGLY and it “…is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked…” (Jeremiah 17:9 KJV).

An apple tree is not known for its bark, but for its apples. A grape vine is not known for its branches, but for its grapes.  Neither is a truly BEAUTIFUL/HANDSOME, Godly man or woman simply known for their physical beauty, but their fruit. “…Ye shall know them by their fruits…” (Matthew 7:16 KJV).  

The fruit reveals the kind of man or woman he or she truly is and it gives him or her an unique, incredible, identifying "INNER" BEAUTY. “…Every good tree bringeth forth good fruit….[and] a good tree CANNOT bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. WHEREFORE BY THEIR FRUIT YE SHALL KNOW THEM...” (Matthew 7:16-22 KJV).

“…The fruit of the [HOLY]...Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control….” (Galatians 5:22-23). Therefore, “…You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act …” (Matthew 7:16 NLT).

To ALL Godly man and woman: “…Let the BEAUTY of the Lord our God be upon [YOU]…the BEAUTY of holiness…” (Psalms 90:17 & Psalms 29:2 KJV). “…Canst thou… array thyself …[with HOLY]… BEAUTY? …” (Job 40:9-10 KJV).

Can a man or woman make themselves truly beautiful, on the inside, with God’s holiness? NO. “… [She is]… all too human, a slave to sin. …[She may often say:]…I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it.  And I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. …I [am] …a slave to the sin that is … within me. Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).

God choose the man and woman when the intention of them exhibiting the BEAUTY of HOLY "INNER" fruit."…You did not choose me but I chose you, and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide  ...” (John 15:16 ASV). 

“…Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing…” (John 15:4-6 NASB).

God has restored his sons and daughters BACK to their original INNER beauty through the indwelling Holy Spirit. “…He (or she) that is joined (attached) unto the Lord is ONE SPIRIT…” (1 Corinthians 6:17 KJV). “…behold, all things are become new…” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “….[The man or woman]… should WALK in NEWNESS of life…” (Romans 6:4 KJV). “… it is the gift of God…” (EPHESIANS 2:8-9 KJV). GOD SAID, “… …be holy, because I am holy…” (1 Peter 1:16 KJV). AND REMEMBER “[God’s] …Holy Spirit …is the SOURCE [of it ALL]…” (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).

The proof of a man or woman’s true "INNER" BEAUTY is his or her HOLY FRUIT. "…My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so PROVE TO BE MY DISCIPLES…” (John 15:8 NIV).

God is “…majestic in holiness…” (Exodus 15:11 KJV). So are His sons and daughters. He instructs them to, “…be holy, because I am holy…” (1 Peter 1:16 KJV). They are to “…worship the Lord in the BEAUTY of holiness…” (2 Chronicles 16:29 KJV).

When God’s sons and daughters "…bear much fruit … [they]… PROVE TO BE [HIS]… DISCIPLES…” (John 15:8 NIV). “…The BEAUTY of the Lord our God [is]… upon [them]…” (Psalms 90:17 KJV). AND "… [The]… Father is glorified by this…” (John 15:8 NIV).

When God is gloried by the fruit of his sons and daughters lives, it makes other people “…worship the Lord in the BEAUTY of holiness…” too (Psalms 96:9 KJV).

God’s sons and daughters get a FREE beauty makeover, from their Father, through the gift of salvation. “[God, through Christ]… freely give [his sons and daughters]… all things?...” (Romans 8:32 KJV).

“…Therefore let no [man or woman]… glory in [themselves]…” (1 Corinthians 3 KJV). When a man or woman “… [glories]… in [themselves]…” they are concerned with showing off their OWN ideology of beauty or handsomeness. When it’s about God, they will be concerned about showing off the “…beauty of His holiness…”

A Godly man or woman will be UNHAPPY if their IDEA of beauty or handsomeness is limited to OUTER, physical beauty.  “… [Outer physical]…beauty does not last…” (Proverbs 31:20 NLT).

A WISE son or daughter knows there is NO comparison between OUTER and INNER BEAUTY. WHY? BECAUSE “…Christ [is]…in [HIM or HER] …” (Colossians 1:27 KJV). Therefore, “…THE SECRET of the Lord (inner holiness) is with [God's sons and daughters]…” (PROVERBS 25:14).

The Godly man and woman “knows” the SECRET of their true BEAUTY is “NOT” physical. So they would NOT seek to show-off their beauty/handsomeness merely through their physical bodies, but through the fruit of their Spirit.

A worldly man and woman ONLY is LIMITED to physical beauty, but a Godly man ir woman has BOTH physical beauty and UNLIMITED  "INNER" HOLY beauty. And "INNER" HOLY beauty sovereignly REIGNS over ALL other kind of BEAUTY!!!  “…Many women (this can apply to men too) have done wonderful things, but you’ve outclassed them all!” Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades. The woman (or man) to be admired and praised is the woman  (or man) who lives in the Fear-of-God…” (Proverbs 31:29-30 MSG).

The Godly man or woman “knows” they CARRY within them the SECRET to true "INNER" beauty/handsomeness. God gave the SECRET to his sons and daughters. “…THE SECRET of the Lord is with them (his sons and daughters)…” (PROVERBS 25:14). “…HIS SECRET is with the righteous…” (PROVERBS 3:32). “…And I will give thee … HIDDEN RICHES of SECRET PLACES…” (ISAIAH 45:3). God has “… [MADE] KNOWN… [TO YOU]...the RICHES of the glory … which is Christ IN YOU…” (Colossians 1:27 KJV). “…Jesus Christ IS IN YOU…” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). “…Christ in you, …” (Colossians 1:27 KJV). “…THE SECRET of the Lord is with [YOU]…” (PROVERBS 25:14). “…the beauty of His holiness…”

“.. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes NOT from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.” (1 John 2:16-17 NLT). "…I chose you, and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit…” (John 15:16 ASV). 

God is “…majestic in holiness…” (Exodus 15:11 KJV).  “…Be holy, because I am holy…” (1 Peter 1:16 KJV). "…bear much fruit, and ...PROVE TO BE [HIS]… DISCIPLES…” (John 15:8 NIV).

When “…the BEAUTY of the Lord our God [is]… upon us…” (Psalms 90:17 KJV). "… [The] … Father is glorified by this…” (John 15:8 NIV). “[God’s] …Holy Spirit …is the SOURCE [of it ALL]…” (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). 

IF THE HOLY SPIRIT DWELLS "IN" YOU. YOU ARE ALREADY BEAUTIFUL WHERE IT COUNTS!

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SOURCE OF TRUE "INNER" BEAUTY FOR BOTH MEN AND WOMEN. 

IT IS NOT HOW YOU PHYSICALLY, BUT HOW YOU LOOK SPIRITUALLY THAT CAN HAVE A LASTING IMPACT ON YOURSELF AND OTHERS! 

HOW  YOU LOOK PHYSICAL IS BUT FOR A MOMENT OR SEASON, BUT HOW YOU  LOOK SPIRITUALLY IS EVERLASTING. 

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SOURCE OF EVERLASTING  BEAUTY AND ITS A FREE MAKEOVER GIVEN TO YOU THROUGH THE GIFT OF SALVATION!
