SUPERIORITY: INTO HIS MARVELOUS LIGHT

 “…you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God's OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light …” (1 Peter 2:9 NASB)

God’s people have been CALLED INTO his MARVELOUS LIGHT. “…you are … called …into His marvelous light …” (1 Peter 2:9 NASB).  LIGHT is the presence of God; of his glorious Holy Spirit. “… [God is] … HOLY...” (1 Peter 1:14-16 KJV).  “…GOD IS SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV). “… God is LIGHT…” (1 John 1:5 NASB).

The presence of LIGHT is also the presence of LIFE. LIFE is a result of SALVATION. “… Jesus … [said] …“I am the Light …” (John 8:12 NASB). “… Jesus saith … I am …the life…” (John 14:6 KJV). “… He who has the Son has life…” (1 John 5:12 KJV). “…There is SALVATION IN NO ONE ELSE (but Jesus)…” (Acts 4:12a NLT).

LIGHT is the LIFE that is received through the glorious indwelling HOLY SPIRIT. “…“…God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son “INTO” [YOUR]… HEARTS…” (Galatians 4:6 NASB). “…The Lord is that Spirit…” (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV). “…the Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE…” (John 3:6 NLT). “…GOD IS SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV). “… [God is] … HOLY...” (1 Peter 1:14-16 KJV).  “… God is LIGHT…” (1 John 1:5 NASB).

“…you are … called … into his marvelous light  …” (1 Peter 2:9 NASB).  You are CALLED into his glorious PRESENCE forever. “…My Presence will go with you…” (Exodus 33:14 NIV). “…God has said “Never will I leave you (your PRESENCE ); never will I forsake (EMOTIONALLY) you…” (Hebrews 13:5 NIV). “…I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, to the very end…"(Matthew 28:20 NIV).  “…Behold, I AM WITH… [YOU] and  … I WILL NOT LEAVE [YOUr presence; ever] …." (Genesis 28:15 ASV). “… The LORD thy God …will not fail (leave) thee, nor forsake thee…” (Deuteronomy 31:6 KJV).  “…Behold, I am with … [you] and will keep … [you] whithersoever [you]… goest…I will not leave [your presence] ..." (Genesis 28:15 ASV). “…‘I saw the Lord always in my presence…” (Acts 2:25 NASB). “…You will make me full of gladness with Your presence.…” (Acts 2:28 NASB).

The indwelling HOLY Spirit of LIGHT is PRESENCE within you. “… Jesus … [said] …“I am the Light …” (John 8:12 NASB).  “…Jesus Christ is in you…” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). “…Christ in you, …” (Colossians 1:27 KJV). “…the Spirit of God dwell in you…” (Romans 8:9 KJV).  “…if Christ be in you… You are… [NOW] … the light of the world…” (Romans 8:10 KJV & Matthew 5:14 NASB).

Why does God have to CALL mankind out of DARKNESS? One day God said, “….LET US MAKE man … after our likeness…” (Genesis 1:26 KJV). “…in his OWN image…..male and female created he them…” (Genesis 1:27 KJV). “…And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground (body), and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (spirit); and man became a living soul (soul)…” (GENESIS 2:7 KJV).

Which part of MAN was MADE in God’s “image” and “likeness?” “…GOD IS SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV).    “…And the LORD God … breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (God himself or HOLY SPIRIT or LIGHT)…” (GENESIS 2:7 KJV). “… God is LIGHT…” (1 John 1:5 NASB). “…The Spirit of God dwell[ed] … in … [the male and female]…” (Romans 8:9 KJV). Thus, “…man (woman) became a living soul …” (GENESIS 2:7 KJV). “…the Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE…” (John 3:6 NLT).

The PRESENCE of God; his glorious Holy SPIRIT of LIFE and LIGHT, was UNITED with mankind’s BODY and SOUL. “…He [or she]… that is joined (UNITED) unto the Lord is ONE SPIRIT….” (1 Corinthians 6:17). “…God formed man [of] the dust of the ground (body), and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (spirit); and man became a living soul (soul)…” (GENESIS 2:7 KJV). “…the Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE…” (John 3:6 NLT).

God, originally, created man with a body, soul, and his glorious Holy SPIRIT of LIFE and LIGHT! However, “…the body without (apart from) the spirit is dead (full of darkness)…” (James 2:26 KJV).

In order to PREVENT mankind from going into the  DARKNESS God gave them ONE instruction: “…Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: BUT of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil THOU SHALT NOT EAT OF IT …[or] … thou shalt surely die…” (Genesis 2:16-17 KJV).

However Satan came along to PLUNGE them into DARKNESS with him by influencing the human will:  “…Ye shall not surely die.…” (Genesis 3:4-5 KJV).

 A CHOICE was MADE: “… I have set before you LIFE and death (darkness), blessing and cursing (darkness): therefore choose LIFE, that both thou and thy seed may LIVE…” (Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV).

Nonetheless, “…The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. …” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).

The woman’s CHOICE was MAJOR. Her CHOICE SEVERED her UNION with the LIGHT. “… God is LIGHT…” (1 John 1:5 NASB). “… ONE sinner destroy[ed]… MUCH GOOD…” (Ecclesiastes 9:18 NASB).

Mankind DIED spiritually at “THAT” very moment as God HAD said. … Thou shalt surely die…” (Genesis 2:16-17 KJV). The LIGHT went OUT! “… The true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world…” (John 1:9 NASB).

 “… [Their] … iniquities … [immediately] … separated [them]… from God (the LIGHT…” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). “…Every man (or woman) is tempted, when … [they are] … drawn away of his (or her) own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it BRINGETH FORTH SIN (deep darkness): and sin, when it is finished, BRINGETH FORTH DEATH…” (James 1:13-15 NLT).

 THAT day “…Sin (darkness) entered into the world, and DEATH through sin, and so DEATH passed to all men—“(Romans 5:12 KJV). “…SIN (darkness) IS the transgression of the law….” (1 John 3:4 KJV). “…The wages of sin (darkness) is death…” (Romans 6:23 KJV).

 “…God asked the woman, “What have you done?” (Genesis 3:7-13 NLT). “… ONE sinner destroy[ed] … MUCH GOOD…” (Ecclesiastes 9:18 NASB). “… [NOW] … the whole world lies under the power (darkness) of the evil one…” (1 John 5:19 RSV).“…I [am] …a slave to the sin that is … within me. Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin (darkness)? …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).

“… [Mankind became] …separated … from God… …” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). They were NOW “…DEAD in trespasses and sin (darkness)…” (Ephesians 2:1 KJV). “…Through … [Adam and Eve] … sin (darkness) entered into the world, and DEATH through sin, and so DEATH passed to all men—“(Romans 5:12 KJV). NOW “…All have sinned and fallen short of the glory (presence) of God…” (Romans 3:23). ALL of mankind is “…separated from the LIFE of God…” (Ephesians 4:18 NIV).

The glorious Holy Spirit of LIFE and LIGHT was separated from man. “… [Their] … iniquities …separated [them]… from God… …” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). “…the body without (apart from) the spirit is dead (is darkness)…” (James 2:26 KJV).  

“… Who will free … [mankind] … from this life that is dominated by sin (darkness)? …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).  Who or what can MAKE mankind WHOLE again and RESTORE them to God, the glorious HOLY SPIRIT of LIFE and LIGHT? “…Jesus Christ maketh thee whole…” (Acts 9:34 KJV).

“…If any man be in Christ, he is a NEW creature …” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “… [Because] … all things are … [MADE] … NEW…” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “…I WILL GIVE you … a new spirit …” (Ezekiel 36:26 NLT).

Therefore, “…May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together—spirit, soul, and body …” (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 MSG).

God so LOVED you and WANTED “YOU” back in UNION with him, he SENT a SOLUTION. “…God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 KJV). God “…spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all?” (Romans 8:32 KJV). “… Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (substitute, intervention) for our sins.” (1 John 4:10 KJV).

"… THE PEOPLE WHO WERE SITTING IN DARKNESS SAW A GREAT LIGHT, AND THOSE WHO WERE SITTING … [in the] … SHADOW OF DEATH, UPON THEM A LIGHT DAWNED…" (Matthew 4:16 NASB). “… Arise, shine; for thy light is come…” (Isaiah 60:1 NASB). “… TO SHINE UPON THOSE WHO SIT IN DARKNESS AND THE SHADOW OF DEATH…" (Luke 1:79 NASB).

Thus, “… AS MANY as received him, to them GAVE HE POWER TO BECOME THE SONS OF GOD, even to them that believe on his name…” (John 1:12 KJV). “… WHOSOEVER shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved...” (Romans 10:13 KJV). Thus, “… if Christ be in you… You are… [NOW] … the light of the world…” (Romans 8:10 KJV & Matthew 5:14 NASB). “…you are … called … into his marvelous light …” (1 Peter 2:9 NASB).

When you are CALLED into the marvelous LIGHT, you become connected with his glorious HOLY SPIRIT. “… But he that is joined unto the Lord is ONE SPIRIT…” (1 Corinthians 6:17 KJV). “…That all of them may be ONE, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be IN US…” (John 17:21 NIV).“…you are … called … into his marvelous light  …” (1 Peter 2:9 NASB).

When you are CALLED into the marvelous LIGHT you are called by the ONE and ONLY God of gods. “… I am God, and there is none else… I am God, and there is none like me…" (Isaiah 46:9-10 KJV).  “… There is NONE like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.…” (Jeremiah 10:6 KJV). “…you are … called … into his marvelous light  …” (1 Peter 2:9 NASB).

When you are CALLED into the marvelous LIGHT you are called by the POWER of God unto SALVATION in Jesus Christ. “…SALVATION  is found in no one else (but Jesus), for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved…” (Acts 4:12 NIV). “…you are … called … into his marvelous light …” (1 Peter 2:9 NASB). 

When you are CALLED into his marvelous LIGHT you are called to be enlightened by the God’s glorious TRUTH. “…Thy WORD is truth” (JOHN 17:17 KJV).  “…The WORD (Jesus) was made flesh, and dwelt among us...” (JOHN 1:14). “… Jesus saith…I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life…” (John 14:6 KJV). “…Ye shall know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH shall make you free…” (John 8:32 KJV).

The LIGHT of TRUTH or the HOLY WORD is not a hard copy, or book of pages, or a particular translation or version, or language, but it is a mystic (supernatural) message that sustains and supersedes over human flaws, epochs of time, or finite interpretations. “… All scripture is given by INSPIRATION of God…” (2 Timothy 3:16 KJV). “…For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were MOVED BY THE HOLY GHOST…” (2 Peter 1:21 KJV).

 “…The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether. They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them Your servant is warned. In keeping them there is great reward …” (Psalm 19:7-11 NASB).

Many enemies, doubters, critics, and haters of the mystic, Gospel message of LIGHT have long since died, but the mystic, Gospel message of LIGHT shall NEVER die. “…It is appointed unto men once to DIE…” (Hebrews 9:27 KJV). “…Heaven and earth shall pass away, but MY WORDS SHALL NOT pass away (DIE)…” (Matthew 24:35 KJV).

Many will NOT come “out of the darkness,” because of complaints about the bible, its validity, and interpretations. Admittedly, there are many versions and translations of the bible. It is understandable that people question its authenticity, reliability, and wonder if it can be trusted.

Much of the original texts have been lost, yet what was found was copied by dedicated people of God to a high degree of accuracy. “… All scripture is given by INSPIRATION of God…” (2 Timothy 3:16 KJV).

“…MY WORDS SHALL NOT pass away …” (Matthew 24:35 KJV).

God’s Word is not the hard copy book of pages, the languages, the translations, the versions, or the conglomeration of interpretations. “…The prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were MOVED BY THE HOLY GHOST…” (2 Peter 1:21 KJV).

The WORD is Jesus; God’s, indestructible, gospel message of LIGHT that prevails!  “… MY WORDS SHALL NOT pass away …” (Matthew 24:35 KJV).

Further, the Almighty God is SO powerful that in spite of flawed humanity the Word of LIGHT has ENDURED.  “…MY WORDS SHALL NOT pass away (DIE)…” (Matthew 24:35 KJV).

God, ALONE, has sustained the Holy inspired message of LIGHT, and miraculously transmitted it throughout the generations. “…The Son is ….sustaining all things by his powerful word…” (Hebrews 1:3 NIV). “…Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words SHALL NOT pass away…” (Matthew 24:35 KJV).

People all over the world are believing the gospel message of LIGHT and accepting SALVATION to this VERY day. “…Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be SAVED…” (ACTS 16:31 KJV). 

They are experiencing miracles, and being personally transformed. “…Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV).

If you have been SAVED – the results of SALVATION – then the sustaining gospel message of LIGHT drew you into the marvelous LIGHT. “..If I (Jesus, the WORD/LIGHT) be lifted up from the earth, WILL DRAW all men unto me…” (John 12:32 KJV).  “…for BY GRACE have ye been saved THROUGH FAITH; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES, IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD; not of works, that no man should glory…” (Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV).

If YOU are truly SAVED, you have believed in Jesus, the LIGHT of SALVATION. “… Jesus ... [said] …“I am the Light …” (John 8:12 NASB). “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be SAVED…” (ACTS 16:31 KJV). “…There is SALVATION IN NO ONE ELSE…” (Acts 4:12a NLT).

The Word of God or the physical bible itself has been attacked, burned, buried, criticized, disrespected, belittled, hidden, destroyed, and crucified more than any other book in history, yet it is still the most published book to this day. “…My words SHALL NOT pass away…” (Matthew 24:35 KJV).

The POWERFUL gospel message CAN NOT be “STOPPED” “… The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it…” (John 1:5 NLT).

The inspired, Holy, glorious gospel message of LIGHT, LIFE, and LOVE has proven to be a sustainable, OPEN pathway to SALVATION. . “… By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way …” (Hebrews 10:19-20 NLT). “Jesus saith…I am THE WAY…” (John 14:6 KJV). “…There is SALVATION IN NO ONE ELSE…” (Acts 4:12a NLT). “… Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8 NIV). “… if Christ be in you… You are… [NOW] … the light of the world…” (Romans 8:10 KJV & Matthew 5:14 NASB).
