The
Christian journey is a journey of faith. Christians are told to both live and
walk by faith. “…walk by faith...” (2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV).
“…live by faith, not by sight….”
(2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV).
Christians are
encouraged to live and walk by faith in God and his Word, which is Jesus
Christ. “…The WORD (Jesus) was made flesh, and
dwelt among us...”
(JOHN 1:14). “…Thy WORD (Jesus)
is truth” (JOHN
17:17 KJV). “…Let
the WORD of Christ dwell in you richly” (COLOSSIANS 3:16
KJV).
From
the very beginning of a Believers Christian journey they encounter the Spirit of faith. “…IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD …” (Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV).
Let’s
look at the biblical description of faith through Hebrews 11:1. “…Now FAITH IS
the substance of things hoped for, THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS UNSEEN…” (Hebrews
11:1 KJV).
“…FAITH… COMETH by hearing, and hearing by
the word of God…” (Roman 10:17 KJV). Faith COMES, or faith originates from HEARING
the GOSPEL.
Faith comes from where? “…FAITH… COMETH
by hearing, and hearing by the word of God…” (Roman 10:17 KJV).
By
hearing the Word of God “this” biblical faith is empowered and activated. The Word is “this” biblical FAITH’s SOURCE of
POWER. “…FAITH… COMETH by hearing [the WORD]…”
(Roman 10:17 KJV).
Where
does this biblical faith come from? “…God
hath [given]… to every man the measure of faith….” (Romans 12:3 KJV). HOW does God GIVE you this “measure of faith? “…God … sent forth
the Spirit of His Son “INTO” [Y]OUR… HEARTS…” (Galatians 4:6
NASB). “…Jesus
Christ is in you…” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). “… I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me…” (Galatians 2:20 KJV).
Therefore, “…The [indwelling] Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE
[which includes the fruit of FAITH]…” (John 3:6 NLT).
One of “…the fruit of the Spirit is… FAITH…” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV). “…IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD …” (Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV).
“…God … sent
forth the Spirit of His Son “INTO” [Y]OUR… HEARTS…” (Galatians 4:6
NASB). “…Christ
in you, …” (Colossians 1:27 KJV). “…John answered and said, A man can RECEIVE
nothing, except it be GIVEN him from heaven…” (John 3:27 KJV).
It
is the WORD of God that summons the POWERFUL WORK of the Holy Spirit to save
souls, not human TALK of ANY kind. “…For
the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of POWER
[of the Holy Spirit…” (1 Corinthians 4:20 NIV). “…Our
gospel came to you not simply with words but also with
POWER [of the Holy Spirit]…” (1 Thessalonians 1:5
NIV).
Hearing
the WORD brings about SALVATION along with the
Spirit of Faith that SAVES. “…Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man,
I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, ALONG WITH FAITH … that are “IN” Christ Jesus…” (1 Timothy 1:13-14
NIV). “…God … sent
forth the Spirit of His Son “INTO” [Y]OUR… HEARTS…” (Galatians 4:6
NASB). “…Christ
in you, …” (Colossians 1:27 KJV).
The WORD OF GOD (also
JESUS) is “…the POWER of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth…” (Romans 1:16 KJV).
“…For you have
been born again … through the living and
enduring WORD of God…” (1 Peter 1:23
NIV).
HEARING
the gospel is HOW “…the Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE…”
(John 3:6 NLT). “…BY
GRACE have ye been saved through… FAITH; and
that NOT OF YOURSELVES, IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD; not of works, that no man should glory…”
(Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV).
“..The grace of our Lord
(SALVATION) was poured out on me abundantly, ALONG WITH
FAITH … that are “IN” Christ Jesus…” (1 Timothy 1:13-14
NIV).
Having
salvation, along with the Spirit of Faith
means that you have been rescued from God’s wrath and judgement and will not
get what you actually deserve, which is death. “…ALL HAVE SINNED and
fallen short of the glory of God…” (Romans 3:23). “…the wages of sin is death…” (Romans
6:23 KJV).
Salvation,
along with the Spirit of Faith demonstrates God’s love and desire to deliver
you from sin and death. “…God so loved
the world that he gave his only begotten Son...the just for the unjust...that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish (be punished)…” (John 3:16 KJV &
1 Peter 3:18 NASB). God “….is …not willing that any should perish,
but that all should come to repentance”
(2 Peter 3:9 KJV).
The WORD OF GOD is “…the POWER of God unto salvation to everyone
that believeth…” (Romans 1:16 KJV). If
the WORD is the “POWER” of God” that result in salvation, along with faith,
then salvation, along with faith is not obtained by one’s own efforts, or one’s
human faith or one’s self-autonomy.
If you could obtain salvation,
along with the Spirit of Faith, by
your own efforts, your own human faith, or by your own self-autonomy then
Christ would not have had a need to die on the cross. “… The life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son
of God … for if righteousness come by the law (human faith, self-effort,
self-autonomy, etc.), then Christ is dead in vain…”
(Galatians 2:20-21 KJV). “…the Father that dwelleth in me, he
doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV).“…Apart from Me (the indwelling Holy Spirit),
you can do nothing…” (John 15:5 NIV). “… if keeping
the law (self-effort, human faith) could make us right with God, then there was
no need for Christ to die…” (Galatians 2:21 NLT). “…Who will free [you] from this life that is dominated
by SIN (human faith, self-effort, self-autonomy etc.)? Thank God! The answer is
in Jesus Christ our Lord…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
“For [it is] Christ …[who]….
died for sins ONCE for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring
us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit…” (1 Peter 3:18 NASB). “… Christ died for our sins
according to the scriptures; And ... he was buried, and …he rose again the
third day according to the scriptures…” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV).
So
what is your part in “this” salvation that comes along with the Spirit of Faith? “…RECEIVE
with meekness THE engrafted WORD, which is able to SAVE your souls…” (James 1:21 KJV).
Since
sinners CAN’T obtain salvation, that comes along with the Spirit of Faith, through their own efforts they willfully RECEIVE or
ACCEPT this gift of God. “…BY GRACE have ye been saved through… FAITH; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES, IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD; not of
works, that no man should glory…” (Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV).
Salvation,
along with the Spirit of Faith come
as an INVITATION granted to sinners on behalf of Jesus Christ. “….God HAS GRANTED
(allowed) repentance that leads to life…” (Acts 11:18 NIV). “…It has been GRANTED TO
YOU on behalf of Christ ….to believe in him…” (Philippians 1:29
NIV). “…It is BECAUSE OF HIM that you are
in Christ Jesus… Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who
boasts boast in the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 1:30-31 NIV).
Thus,
salvation, along with the Spirit of Faith,
DOES NOT depend on human effort whatsoever. It totally and absolutely depends
upon God’s GRACE expressed in Jesus Christ. WHY? You were “…separated from the LIFE of God…”
(Ephesians 4:18 NIV). “…[You were]…DEAD
in trespasses and sin…” (Ephesians 2:1 KJV). “…YOU… were DEAD in YOUR transgressions
and sins…” (Ephesians 2:1 NIV). “…YOU were DEAD in your sins and ... [BUT]…God made you ALIVE with Christ. He forgave [you]… all [your]… sins…” (Colossians 2:13 NIV).
God
“….made
[you]… ALIVE with
Christ …” (Ephesians 2:5 NIV). Like the prodigal son,
“… [YOU [were]…. DEAD and [you have been
made]… ALIVE AGAIN; [you were]… lost and [have been]… found…” (Luke 15:24
NIV).
If
you were made “ALIVE AGAIN” then you were DEAD. The sinner was a spiritually DEAD
sinner. “….YOU
USED TO LIVE in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the
devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the
spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. All of us used to live that way, following
the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. ….just
like everyone else…”
(Ephesian 2:2-3 NLT).
However,
“…It is the
SPIRIT who gives LIFE; the (sinful human) flesh profits nothing…” (John 6:63 NASB). “…THE WORDS THAT I
SPEAK unto you, they ARE SPIRIT, and they
ARE LIFE…” (John 6:63 KJV). “…GOD IS SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV).
AND “…The Lord
is that Spirit…” too (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV).). “Jesus saith…I am …THE LIFE…” (John
14:6 KJV). “…The Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE…” (John 3:6 NLT). “….Apart from [Jesus,] …you can do nothing…” (John 15:5 NIV).

(SALVATION, along with the Spirit of Faith) good for doing
his will, and may he work in us what
is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to
whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen” (Hebrews 13:20-21
NIV). “Now may the God of
peace … that great Shepherd of the sheep, EQUIP you with EVERYTHING (SALVATION, along with the Spirit of

When
voluntarily and willfully chosen, it is the WORD OF GOD that has the POWER to
GRANT salvation, along with the Spirit of
Faith. “…RECIEVE … the … WORD, which is able
to save your souls…”
(James 1:21 KJV). “…God has sent
forth the Spirit of His
Son “INTO” OUR HEARTS…” (Galatians 4:6 NASB). “…God has given [you] HIS Spirit as PROOF that … he [dwells]…in [you]…” (1 John 4:13 NLT). “…The
fruit of the Spirit… is…FAITH…”
(Galatians 5:22-23 KJV).
“…FAITH IS …THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS UNSEEN…” (Hebrews
11:1 KJV). The
WORD OF GOD is what makes salvation, along with the Spirit of Faith, possible and real. The
WORD is “…the POWER of God unto
salvation to everyone that believeth…”
(Romans 1:16 KJV). Can you SEE salvation? Yet, are
you saved?
When the GOSPEL is HEARD the Spirit of FAITH comes along to EMPOWER
individuals to be SAVED. “…IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD…” (Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV). The WORD is “…the POWER of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth…” (Romans 1:16 KJV). “…Jesus … said…the WORK of God [is] that ye believe on him (obtain salvation) whom he hath sent.” (John 6:29 KJV). “…The Father
… doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV).
Therefore,
“…YOU have been born again (SAVED) …through the living and enduring word of God…” (1 Peter 1:23 NIV). “…FAITH IS …THE
EVIDENCE OF THINGS UNSEEN…” (Hebrews 11:1 KJV).
Your
indwelling gift of the Spirit of Faith,
originates from God. The Spirit of Faith
IS God. The Spirit of Faith is the evidence of what
you do NOT see. “…GOD IS SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV).
“…The Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL
LIFE…” (John 3:6 NLT). “…The invisible things of him from the
creation of the world are CLEARLY SEEN, being
understood by the things that are made…” (Romans 1:20 KJV). “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is [made into]… a NEW creature … all things are become NEW…” (2 Corinthians 5:17
KJV).
Again, “…
[The] Good
News about Christ… [or the WORD]… is the POWER of God
at work, SAVING everyone who believes…” (Romans 1:16 NLT). “…You have been born
again …through the living and enduring word of
God…” (1 Peter 1:23 NIV). “…BY
GRACE have ye been saved through… FAITH …”
(Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV).
The relationship you have with God is
obtained and granted through salvation by grace THROUGH (of along with) the Spirit of Faith. “…A right
relationship with God … comes by
[the SPIRIT of] faith…”
(Romans 4:13 NASB). “…FAITH IS …THE
EVIDENCE OF THINGS UNSEEN…” (Hebrews 11:1 KJV).
Therefore, “…God hath…[given]… to every man THE measure of FAITH…” (Romans 12:3 NIV).

Your
first encounter with the gift of the Spirit
of Faith COMES when you HEAR the GOSPEL of salvation.
“…FAITH… COMETH

“…FAITH… COMETH by hearing [the GOSPEL]…”
(Roman 10:17 KJV).
The GOSPEL “IS” “…the POWER of God unto salvation to everyone
that believeth…” (Romans 1:16 KJV). “… [The] Good News about Christ. It is the POWER of God at work, saving everyone who believes…” (Romans 1:16 NLT). “…You have been born
again …through the living and enduring word of
God…” (1 Peter 1:23 NIV)
The bible doesn’t SAY ANY PART OF
YOUR HUMAN EFFORT or HUMAN FAITH SAVES you; it says you are saved BY GRACE
through FAITH. “…BY GRACE have ye been saved through… FAITH; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES, IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD; not of
works, that no man should glory…” (Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV).
This faith is NOT human faith, but
spiritual faith, because it is NOT of or from yourselves; it is a GIFT. AGAIN, “….NOT OF YOURSELVES,…not
of works, that no man should glory…”
(Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV).
Did
you SEE something while you were being SAVED? Are you saved? If you accepted
and received God’s invitation to salvation you are saved, which is PROOF the Spirit of Faith is working. “…God has given [you] HIS Spirit as PROOF that … he [dwells]…in [you]…” (1 John 4:13 NLT). “… [One
of] the fruit of the Spirit… is…FAITH…”
(Galatians 5:22-23 KJV). “…FAITH IS …THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS UNSEEN…” (Hebrews
11:1 KJV). “…IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD…” (Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV).
It
is the GIFTED Spirit of Faith (the
evidence of things unseen) that empowers, enables, or motivates - after HEARING
the WORD - people to experience the “…POWER of God unto
salvation…” (Romans 1:16 KJV). OR to have “…a
right relationship with God that comes by faith…” (Romans 4:13 NASB). “…A person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ…”
(Galatians 2:16 NLT). “…BY
GRACE have ye been saved through… FAITH; and
that NOT OF YOURSELVES, it is the gift of God; NOT OF WORKS, that no man
should glory…” (Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV).
The GIFTED
Spirit of Faith (the evidence of
things unseen) is given by God. “…it is the gift of God …”

(1 Peter 1:23 NIV) “…the Holy Spirit GIVES birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE…” (John 3:6 NLT).
The
Holy Spirit DOES the WORK of SALVATION and FAITH!!
The bible
clearly emphasizes the Spirit of faith as
a “gift of God’ and eliminates any
misunderstanding that the glory and credit for salvation, along with the Spirit of Faith, goes to anyone, BUT
God. “…it is the gift of God; NOT OF WORKS, that
no man should glory…”
(Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV). “…You
have been born again …through the living and
enduring word of God…” (1 Peter 1:23
NIV) “…the Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE…” (John 3:6 NLT).
No “man should glory” or boast that they did
ANYTHING to obtain salvation that comes along with the Spirit of Faith. “…BY GRACE
have ye been saved through… FAITH; and that NOT
OF YOURSELVES, it
is the GIFT of God; NOT OF WORKS, that no man
should glory…” (Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV).
“…NOT OF YOURSELVES, it is
the GIFT of God; NOT OF

to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does

Who will free me from this

of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross are you are saved by grace

the cross…” (Ephesians 2:5, 16 NASB).

by HEARING the WORD, comes along WITH the Spirit
of FAITH, which is a GIFT. “…it is the gift

HEARING
the gospel empowers those who are DEAD to come ALIVE again spiritually. “… [They
were] DEAD
in trespasses and sin…” and IT IS “…the POWER of God unto salvation to everyone
that believeth…” (Romans 1:16 & Ephesians 2:1 KJV). “…BY GRACE have ye been saved through… FAITH; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES, it is the gift of God; NOT OF
WORKS, that no man should glory…” (Ephesians
2:8-9 ASV).
You
and every other believer were saved by grace THROUGH the “Gifted” Spirit of Faith. “….For who makes you different from anyone else? What
do you have that you did not RECEIVE? And if you did receive it, why do
you boast as though you did not?” (1 Corinthians 4:6 NIV). “…For what gives you the right to make such a
judgment? What do you have that God hasn’t given you?
And if everything you have is from God, why boast as though it were not a gift?”
(1 Corinthians 4:7 NLT).

Therefore, the Spirit of
Faith

GIFTED Spirit of Faith that saved you
is the SAME Spirit of Faith that
sustains you throughout your Christian journey.

YOU STRONG to the end…” (1 Corinthians 1:8 NLT). “…Walk by faith...” (2 Corinthians 5:7

(Habakkuk 2:4 NASB). “…Christ
liveth in [you]: and the life which [you] now live in the flesh [you] live by

Thus, “…Jesus
[is]… the AUTHOR and FINISHER
OF [your indwelling Spirit of] FAITH…” (Hebrews 12:2a KJV).
“…HE WHICH HATH
“BEGUN” A GOOD “WORK” IN YOU (the WORK of FAITH) WILL “PERFORM” IT until

new convert HEARS the GOSPEL message first, which comes along with the Spirit of Faith and when they voluntarily
accept or receive God’s invitation of salvation they are enabled to believe in
Jesus Christ. “…Every one that hath
HEARD and hath LEARNED of the Father, cometh to me…” (John 6:45
KJV). “…NO ONE can
come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him…”
(John 6:44 KJV).
God’s
HOLY SPIRIT empowers salvation, along with the impartation of the Spirit of Faith and enables belief in
Jesus Christ. After hearing the word, the Spirit
of Faith works together with the POWER of God TO SAVE. The
WORD of God is “…the POWER of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth…” (Romans 1:16 KJV).
You
are saved from your sins because Christ died for you. “… Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And
...he was buried, and …he rose again the third day according to the scriptures…”
(1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV).
You
now have eternal life and indwelling Spirit of Jesus Christ is the PROOF. “…The
GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ ….” (Romans 6:23

Spirit of God dwell[s]… IN YOU…”

Did you SEE Jesus Christ

If you said, NO, but you
know Christ died, and you know you have eternal life and you know you have the
indwelling Spirit; then you are experiencing the empowering Spirit of Faith, which is the evidence
of things UNSEEN. “…FAITH

God GIFTS the Spirit of Faith through the indwelling Holy Spirit and sustains
that Spirit of Faith through Jesus

OF [the indwelling Spirit of]… FAITH…” (Hebrews 12:2a KJV). “…HE WHICH HATH

It
is the Spirit of Faith that empowers

The WORD of God (Spoken through

and POWER UNTO HIS PEOPLE…” (Psalms 68:35 KJV). “…SUMMON YOUR POWER, God; SHOW US YOUR STRENGTH, our
God, as you have done before…” (Psalms 68:28 NASB).
God’s
holy POWER is in a category all on its own. Ancient Greek calls it dunamis POWER. There are a lot of names
given to define power such as: clout, one’s own ability, sovereignty, strength,
capability, dominion, authority, control, rule, autonomy, or supreme influence.
There
is no power, however, like that of God’s power. “… There is NONE like unto thee, O LORD; thou art
GREAT, and thy name is great in might.…” (Jeremiah 10:6 KJV).
“…GOD IS SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV).
“…[ALL] …POWER belongeth
unto God...” (Psalms 62:11 NIV).
There
are many examples of power, many definitions of power, but none of those powers
are comparable to the POWER of God. “… There is NONE like
unto thee, O LORD…” (Jeremiah 10:6 KJV).
No
matter who holds positions of power; ultimately all power BELONGS to God. “…[ALL] POWER belongeth
unto God...” (Psalms 62:11 NIV).
If
one possesses power of any kind, it was given to him or her by God.
“…There
is NO POWER but of God: THE POWERS that be are ordained of God…” (Romans
13:1 KJV). “….[God]…changeth
the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them
that know understanding…” (Daniel 2:21 KJV).
“…In order that the living may know That the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind, And
bestows it on whom He wishes `…” (Daniel
4:17 NASB). “…Jesus answered, "You would have no power over me if it were not given to you
from above…” (John 19:22 NIV).
ALL “…POWER belongeth unto God...” (Psalms 62:11
NIV). “…The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof;
the world, and they that dwell therein…” (Psalm 24:1 KJV). “…The world is mine,
and the fulness thereof…” (Psalm 50:12 KJV). “…All that is in the heaven and in the earth is
thine…” (1 Chronicles 29:11 KJV).
The WORD of God (spoken by Jesus) is “…the POWER (the WORK of the Holy Spirit) of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth…” (Romans 1:16 KJV). “…Jesus … said…This is the WORK of God: that ye believe on him…” (John 6:29 KJV). “…the Father … he
doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV).
God’s dunamis power is also translated as miraculous power, especially since it
extends far and abundantly above normal, common human power or capability. God “… is
able TO DO exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think…” (Ephesians 3:20 KJV).
Jesus
displayed that POWER and was AWARE of it. “…Jesus realized that POWER had gone
out from him. He turned around in the
crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” “You
see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can
ask, ‘Who touched me?’
Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at
his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you.
Go in peace and be freed from your suffering…” (Mark 5:30-34 NIV). “…God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and POWER,
and how he went around doing good and healing all ….because
God was with him…”
(Acts 10:38 NIV).
God
used others to display that POWER too. “…Stephen,
a man full of God’s grace and POWER, performed great wonders and signs among the people…” (Acts 6:8 NIV). “…God did extraordinary MIRACLES (power) through
Paul…” (Acts 19:11 NIV).
“…I persevered in demonstrating
among you the marks of a true apostle, including signs,
wonders and MIRACLES (power)…” (2 Corinthians 12:12
NIV).
“…Now God GIVES US many
kinds of special abilities, but it is the same HOLY
SPIRIT who is the SOURCE of them all. …it is the
same God who does the work IN and THROUGH all of us who are his. The HOLY SPIRIT DISPLAYS God’s power THROUGH each of us …
It is the … Holy Spirit who gives all these gifts and POWERS… (1 Corinthians
12:4-11 NLT).
“…I am the Lord, I change NOT…”
(Malachi 3:6 KJV). “Jesus Christ is the same
yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13 :8 NIV). “…Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that
believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and GREATER WORKS than these shall he do; because I go
unto my Father…”
(John 14:1 KJV). “…That great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything
good for doing his will…” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “…That great Shepherd of the sheep …work “IN
US” what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever
and ever. Amen…” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “…It is God which worketh IN YOU
both to will and to do of his

You
can’t physically SEE the indwelling Spirit
of Faith, but you can SEE it working THROUGH you. Let’s go back to Noah.
How did his faith work THROUGH him?
The
Holy Spirit of Faith worked “THROUGH”
Noah: Noah built or made A BOAT. “…The invisible [Spirit]…from the creation of
the world …clearly seen,
being understood by the things that are made…” (Romans 1:20 KJV).
When
the Spirit of Faith works “THROUGH” you
people can witness it by your deeds or actions. Your deeds or actions empowered
by the Spirit of Faith will be “…clearly seen…” (Romans 1:20 KJV).
Noah
built or MADE a boat and people SAW
the boat being built. “…I will show you MY FAITH by my deeds...” (JAMES 2:18 NIV).
“…It was BY[the Spirit of] FAITH
that Noah BUILT A LARGE BOAT to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God, who
warned him about things that had never happened before….” (Hebrews 11 NLT).
Noah
had never heard of a flood, but he was empowered, by the Spirit of Faith, to heed God’s warning. “…He [was empowered and was enabled to] obeyed
God….” (Hebrews 11 NLT).
Food

Noah and empowered him to do something that everyone around could witness. “…It was BY FAITH that Noah BUILT a boat (ark) ….” (Hebrews 11 NLT).
Noah
started building or making the boat (ARK) BEFORE the – never heard of - flood
ever came. “…So God said to Noah, “I am
going to put an end to all people …So make
yourself an ark (boat) of
cypress wood; …. I am GOING TO bring floodwaters on the earth to
destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life
in it. Everything on earth will perish. …Noah did everything just as God commanded him. (Genesis 6:9-22 NIV).
“…God,
who warned him about things that had never happened before….” (Hebrews 11 NLT). Noah
was empowered by the Spirit of Faith
to hope for or EXPECT God to SAVE his family from a flood that had NEVER been
heard of before. “…Now FAITH IS … the evidence of things not seen…”
(Hebrews 11:1 KJV).
The
Spirit of Faith empowered Noah to
respond to the spoken Word of God and it was also evidence that the flood was coming.
Building
or making the boat, based on God’s WORD alone was the Holy Spirit of Faith working THROUGH Noah. “…It is God which worketh in you both to will
and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13 KJV).
God
works IN and THROUGH you the same way he did Noah! “…GOD IS SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV).
“…The Spirit of God dwell[s]… in
[YOU]…” (Romans 8:9 KJV).
“…God which
worketh in you … to do…” (Philippians 2:13 KJV). “…the Father that
dwelleth in [YOU], he doeth
the works…”
(John 14:10 KJV).
You are
equipped with the Spirit of Faith so
God can work IN and THROUGH you; which is “HIS”
WORK
anyway! “…Jesus .. said…This is the WORK of God: that ye believe on him…” (John 6:29 KJV).
God’s
Holy Spirit DOES the WORK of Faith “IN” and “THROUGH” you. Do you accept this
truth? “…Thy word is truth” (JOHN
17:17 KJV). “…the Father … he
doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV). “…The truth shall MAKE (or SET) YOU[R indwelling Spirit of Faith] FREE…” (JOHN 8:32 KJV).
Therefore, “…FAITH IS
…THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS UNSEEN…” (Hebrews 11:1 KJV). “…The invisible [Spirit]…from the creation of the world …CLEARLY SEEN, being understood by the things that are made…” (Romans 1:20 KJV). “…I will show you MY
FAITH by my deeds (signs, wonders, and miraculous actions, works, etc)....”
