THE HOLY SPIRIT SAVES YOU, REUNITES THE human
SOUL AND Holy SPIRIT, FREES YOU FROM SIN, AND MAKES YOU
INTO A NEW CREATION WITH ABILITIES
TO RULE AND HAVE DOMINION.
You are a NEW CREATION “IN” Jesus Christ. “….if any man be in Christ, he is a New
creature: OLD THINGS are passed away; behold, ALL things are
become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV).
You can NOW live
a Spirit-empowered life, through the indwelling Holy Spirit, that strengthens
you. “…[You]..can do all things through Christ
which strengtheneth [you]…” (Philippians 4:13 KJV). “…Christ liveth in [you]…” (Galatians 2:20 KJV).
Apart from Jesus Christ,
you will NOT be able to live
a Spirit-empowered life. “…the
body without (apart from) the
spirit is dead…” (James 2:26 KJV). “….Apart from Me (Jesus Christ), you can do nothing…” (John 15:5 NIV).
The FLESH cannot enable you to live a Spirit-empowered life. “…For the sinful nature is
always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT). “…
it
does not submit to God's law (HOLY instructionS), nor
can it do so…” (Romans 8:7 NIV). “…The sinful nature (FLESH) wants
to do evil, which is just the opposite of
what the Spirit wants. …”
(Galatians 5 NLT).
The HOLY SPIRIT empowers you
to live a Spirit-empowered life. “…It is the
SPIRIT who gives LIFE…” (John 6:63 NASB). “…it is God who works in you…”
(Philippians 2:13 NIV). “……God made you ALIVE with Christ…”
(Colossians 2:13 NIV). “…he
that is joined unto the Lord (Jesus) is ONE spirit… [with
him and God]” (1 Corinthians 6:17 KJV).“… all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17
KJV). “…[You]..can do all things through Christ
which strengtheneth [you]…” (Philippians 4:13 KJV).
You are a NEW CREATION.
You can LIVE a Spirit-empowered LIFE. You have been BORN AGAIN with new
abilities. “… [ if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away;
behold, ALL
THINGS are become new” (2
Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “…You must be born again…” (John 3:7 NIV).
BORN AGAIN means you
have been made WHOLE like ADAM was before the FALL. “…God himself … makes everything holy and whole, [and he will] make
you holy and whole…
[by putting] you together …[again]…
—[through his Holy] spirit, [your] soul, and body …” (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
MSG). Therefore, “…You must be born again…” (John 3:7 NIV). "That which is born
of the FLESH IS FLESH; and that which
is born of the Spirit is spirit.” (John 3:6 KJV).
“…In the beginning God
created …” (Genesis 1:1, 31 KJV). “…God created man in
His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He
created them. …”
(Genesis 1 NASB), “…we exist
through Him…” (1 Corinthians 8:6 NASB). “…You must be born again…” (John 3:7 NIV). "
God said, “….LET US
MAKE man … after our likeness …” (Genesis 1:26 KJV). “…in his OWN image (LIKENESS)…..male and female created he them (the
first HUMANS)…” (Genesis 1:27 KJV). “…And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground (body),
and breathed into his nostrils the
breath of life (spirit); and man
became a living soul (soul)…” (GENESIS 2:7 KJV). "That which
is born of the FLESH IS FLESH; and that which
is born of the Spirit is spirit.” (John 3:6 KJV).

made, and behold, it was very good…” (Genesis 1 NASB),
God told his NEW CREATIONS what to DO with
the abilities they were CREATED with. “…God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill
the earth, and subdue it;
and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of
the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth…”
(Genesis 1 NASB).
“…And God said …let them have DOMINION over the fish of the sea,
and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and
over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. ….And God blessed them,
and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and
subdue it: and have
DOMINION …over every living thing that
moveth upon the earth….” (Genesis 1:26-28
KJV).
Adam started USING his
abilities when he named the animals and the woman.” “…The Lord God formed from the ground all the wild
animals and all the birds of the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would call
them, and the man “CHOSE” A NAME for each one. He gave names to all the livestock,
all the birds of the sky, and all the wild animals. … [Adam said,] she will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken
from ‘man…” (Genesis 2:19-20, 23 NLT).
God made PROVISIONS
first, then made the MALE and FEMALE. He TOLD them to use their GOD-GIVEN
abilities to be fruitful and multiply. .“…God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply…”
(Genesis 1 NASB).
The MALE and FEMALE had
DOMINION “OVER” ALL that God had CREATED. “… have DOMINION …over every living thing that
moveth upon the earth….” (Genesis 1:26-28
KJV).
God STILL had ULTIMATE
dominion, because the EARTH belongs, first and foremost, to him. “… For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible,
whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:
all things were created by him, and for him…”
(Colossians 1:16 KJV). “…The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein…”
(Psalm 24:1 KJV). “…for the world is mine,
and the fulness thereof…” (Psalm 50:12 KJV). “…For all the animals of the forest are mine,
and I own the cattle on a thousand hills…”
(Psalms 50:10 NLT). “…Thine,
O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the
glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine…” (1
Chronicles 29:11 KJV).
He GIVES dominion and
authority to WHOMEVER he pleases!
“… [ALL] power
belongs to God…” (Psalms 62:11 NASB).
“…All authority ….[belongs
to God] in
heaven and on earth … [therefore,] the powers
of heaven and the peoples of
the earth [ultimately submit to his rule] …”
(Matthew 28:18 NASB &
Daniel 4 NLT), “…all authority comes from God, and …The authorities are
God’s servants …”
(Romans 13:1-5 NLT).
God
ALLOCATED dominion and rule to the male and female, who are subjected to his
ULTIMATE dominion. “… [ALL] power belongs to God…”
(Psalms 62:11 NASB). “…The authorities are God’s
servants …” (Romans 13:1-5 NLT). “…for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof…(Psalm
50:12 KJV). “…Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the
victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine…”
(1 Chronicles 29:11 KJV).
He told the male and
female to: “… have DOMINION …over every living thing that
moveth upon the earth….” (Genesis 1:26-28
KJV). However, “…all authority comes from God…”
(Romans 13:1-5 NLT). “…The authorities are God’s
servants …” (Romans 13:1-5 NLT).
It was a BLESSING
similar to an INHERTANCE. The EARTH was their HOME to enjoy, get their needs
met, have uninterrupted communion with God, and to create a family. “…God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good…” (Genesis 1 NASB).
God WANTED them to FILL the whole earth
and take DOMINION or RULE over it. .“…
fill the earth, and subdue
it; and rule over
… every living thing that moves on the earth…” (Genesis 1 NASB).
Today we KNOW that God SAYS: “…I WILL SUPPLY ALL YOUR NEED…”
(Philippians 4:13 KJV). God BLESSED Adam and EVE by supplying ALL their needs
with EVERYTHING pertaining to LIFE and GODLINESS! “…his
divine power hath given unto us ALL THINGS that pertain unto life and godliness…” (2 Peter 1:3
KJV).
They HAD their needs taken care of; they
had continual communion with God, they had the BREATH OF LIFE within them, they
had DOMINION, they had the ability to procreate, and they enjoyed all the
benefits of God’s providence. “…God saw all that He had
made, and behold, it was very good…” (Genesis 1 NASB).
BY THE WORD OF GOD, the male and female
were GIVEN the authority to RULE over ALL of God’s CREATION! “…all
authority comes from God…
(Romans 13:1-5 NLT). “… have DOMINION …over ….”
(Genesis 1:26-28 KJV).
They were created “IN” God’s LIKENESS
through the indwelling BREATH OF LIFE, which GAVE them ABILITIES to display
“HIS” power through RULE and by SUBDUING the earth. “…God [the
Holy Spirit] … DOES the work IN and THROUGH all of us who are his …[God, the] HOLY SPIRIT DISPLAYS God’s power THROUGH each of
us …” (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).
The God-given ABILTIES to DISPLAY GOD’s
POWER through RULE and by SUBDUING was to ACCOMPLISH his PURPOSES, of
goodness,
as
benevolent CAREGIVER, PROVIDER, HUSBANDMAN, COVENANT MAKER, the LORD,
their GOD and their GREAT LOVE. “ …‘My
people …I will PUT my SPIRIT in you and you will
LIVE …Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord...’”
(Ezekiel 37 NIV).
“…so you will know that [GOD “IS”] the Lord…” (Exodus 10:1-2 NLT). “…Then you will
know that [GOD is] the Lord
your God…’” (Exodus 16:12 NLT).
The FIRST thing
God DID was BLESSED them THEN he gave them some suggestions on how to enjoy his blessings such
as; be fruitful, multiply, subdue, rule, etc. “…God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill
the earth, and subdue it;
and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of
the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth…”
(Genesis 1 NASB).
“…God blessed them …”
(Genesis 1 NASB). He BLESSED them with the BLESSINGS of nature, providence, and
ALL of GOD’s goodness, love, presence, communion, and kindness was readily and
generously available.

(Genesis 1 NASB). This ORDINANCE was given by God BEFORE the
FALL and demonstrates BLESSINGS were a natural EXPRESSION of God’s HOLY LOVE
and nature.

(Genesis 1 NASB). THEM were the MALE and FEMALE God created, with
the abilities, to RULE over his HOLY CREATION. He allocated the responsibilities
of DOMINION into THEIR hands. “… have
DOMINION …over...”
(Genesis 1:26-28 KJV).
“…God blessed them …”
(Genesis 1 NASB). AT one time the MALE and FEMALE had UNLIMITED rule OVER
everything and NOTHING had RULE over them, but the LOVING God, the HOLY SPIRIT.

(Genesis 1 NASB). “…[God]… madest [the
male and female] to have DOMINION
OVER the WORKS of thy
hands; thou hast put ALL things under his feet…”
(Psalms 8:6 KJV). “…The authorities are God’s
servants …” (Romans 13:1-5 NLT).
The MALE and FEMALE went from having
DOMINION OVER everything to being DOMINATED by ONE THING; the EVIL ONE. “… the whole world lies under the power (dominion)
of the evil one” (1 John 5:19 RSV).
HOW?
The MALE and FEMALE didn’t TRANSFER dominion and rule over to the EVIL ONE;
they voluntarily and willfully relinquished it when they became SERVANTS to the
EVIL ONE’s instructions. The EVIL ONE took control of THEM and everything they
HAD. “…Know … that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey;
whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” (Romans
6:16 KJV).
THE “relinquishing” of
dominion and rule to the EVIL ONE was also a result of separated from God, the
HOLY SPIRIT and ULTIMATE authority. Adam and Eve were “…separated from the “LIFE” of God…” (Ephesians
4:18 NIV). “…It is the SPIRIT who gives “LIFE”; the
flesh profits nothing…” (John
6:63 NASB). “… [their] … iniquities (sin) …separated
[them]… from God (the true RULE, AUTHORITY, and DOMINION… …” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV).
MALE and FEMALE obeyed
their FLESH and immediately lost dominion through the FALL “AWAY” from God. .
“…Know … that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey;
whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” (Romans
6:16 KJV). “…Let
no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted
with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and
enticed. Then when lust hath conceived,
it BRINGETH FORTH SIN: and sin, when it is finished, BRINGETH FORTH DEATH…” (James 1:13-15 NLT).
“…The sinful nature (also the FLESH) … NEVER did, [from the beginning]
OBEY God’s laws (Holy instructions), and it NEVER will. …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).
The EVIL ONE, through
the serpent, GAINED control and dominion over man’s SOUL and the world through
the FLESH. “…Know … that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey,
his servants ye are to whom ye obey;
whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” (Romans
6:16 KJV).
The MALE and FEMALE, by
freedom of CHOICE, relinquished dominion over to the EVIL ONE. He appealed to their
FLESH. ”.. if you live by its (the FLESH) dictates, you will die…” (Romans
8:1-14 NLT). “…For if ye live AFTER THE FLESH, ye shall die…”
(Romans 8:13 KJV).
“…The woman
saw that the tree was good
for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired
to make one wise…” (Genesis 3:6 NLT). “…through one man SIN entered into the world, and DEATH THROUGH SIN, and so death passed
to all men—“(Romans 5:12 KJV).
“…At that moment their eyes
were opened…”
(Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).
The EVIL ONE gained
DOMINION over the EARTH (which includes the body, the flesh, or the dust of the
ground). “….God
formed man of the dust of the ground (EARTH)…” (Genesis 2:7 KJV). We know …that the whole world lies under the power of
the evil one” (1 John 5:19 RSV).
The EVIL ONE dominates the
world’s political systems, religions, social realms, economics, educational
systems, and the various cultures through the FLESH, which is the SINFUL NATURE.
“…Everything in the world—the lust
of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes NOT from the Father but from the world…” (1 John 2:16-17 NLT). “ … the deeds of the flesh are EVIDENT, which are: immorality, impurity,
sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger,
disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness,
carousing, and things like these …”
(Galatians 5:20-22 NASB). Thus, “…throw off your old sinful nature …”
(Ephesians 4:17-32 NLT).
The EVIL ONE has
dominion and power over the FLESH world, which is the SINFUL NATURE. “… the whole world (fleshly
world) lies under the power (dominion) of the evil one” (1
John 5:19 RSV).
“….YOU (the SINFUL
nature part of YOU) USED TO LIVE in [perpetual] sin, just like the
rest of the world, obeying (being dominated by) the devil (the EVIL ONE)—the
commander of the [sinful] powers in the unseen world. He is the
spirit at work in the hearts (part of the SOUL) of those who refuse to obey God
(or follow his instructions and guidelines). All of us used to live that way, following the
passionate desires and inclinations (dictates) of our sinful nature.
….just like everyone else…” (Ephesian
2:2-3 NLT).
The EVIL ONE dominates man’s SOUL through
the FLESH, which is the SINFUL NATURE. “Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin? …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
The EVIL ONE keeps unbelievers BLIND so
they won’t find the truth and tries to keep believers BLIND so they
won’t depend
upon the truth. “…The god of this age (the EVIL ONE) has blinded [the minds
(part of the SOUL), [of all those] who do not believe (depend upon God), lest
the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ (the WORD), who is the image of
God, should shine on them…” (2 Corinthians
4:4 NLT).
The EVIL ONE appeals to the
FLESH, which is the SINFUL NATURE through the senses. TOGETHER,
the HOLY SPIRIT and man’s SOUL were to control the FLESH. “…I
discipline my body (FLESH) and make it my slave…” (1 Corinthians 9:27
NASB). Instead, “…I am
…a slave to sin (my body of flesh)
… Instead, I do what I hate.
So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me (my
body of flesh) that does it. And I know that nothing good lives
in me, that is, in my sinful nature (the body of flesh). …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
In the GARDEN, God had
ONE instruction for Adam and that was NOT to eat of “the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.” Remember,
“…The sinful nature
(also the FLESH) is ALWAYS hostile to God. It NEVER did, [from the beginning]
OBEY God’s laws (instructions), and it NEVER will. …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).
God’s INSTRUCTION: “…of every tree of the garden THOU MAYEST FREELY EAT: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,
thou
SHALT NOT EAT of it; for in THE DAY THAT THOU
EATEST thereof THOU SHALT SURELY DIE…”
(Genesis 2:16-17 KJV).
The EVIL ONE came along and began to
appeal to the FLESH and its SENSES to gain control of man’s SOUL and also, his
God-given dominion.
The EVIL ONE (disguised as usual) “USED”
the serpent to APPEAL to the fleshly SENSES. “…Know … that to whom ye yield
yourselves servants to obey (to follow), his servants ye are to whom ye obey (follow); whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto
righteousness?” (Romans 6:16 KJV). ”.. if you live by its (the
FLESH) dictates, you will die…” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT). “…For if ye live AFTER THE FLESH, ye shall die…” (Romans 8:13
KJV).
The EVIL ONE through
the serpent enticed Eve’s fleshly SENSES. “…The
serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he
asked the woman (HEAR), “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the
trees in the garden?” “Of
course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we
are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you
do, you will die.’” “You won’t die!” the serpent replied, with a LIE,
to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened (appealing to the
PRIDE OF LIFE) as soon as you eat it (appealing to the desire to TASTE), and
you will be like God, knowing both good and evil (LUST OF THE FLESH).”
The woman was convinced. She saw (LUSTS OF THE EYES) that the tree was
beautiful (SIGHT) and its fruit looked delicious (TASTE, SIGHT), and she wanted
the wisdom (PRIDE OF LIFE) it would give her. So she took (TOUCH) some of the fruit and ate it (TASTE). Then she gave some
to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. At that moment their eyes
were opened…”
(Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).
“…ALL that is in
the world, the LUST of the flesh, and the LUST of the eyes…..is NOT of the Father, but
it is of the world (which is under the power of the EVIL ONE)….” (1
John 2:16-17 KJV).
In addition, the EVIL ONE, through the
serpent, appealed to the FLESHLY SENSES with LIES. God actually say? “…THE DAY THAT THOU EATEST thereof THOU SHALT SURELY DIE…” (Genesis 2:16-17 KJV). “…You won’t die!” the serpent [LIED]… to the woman…” (Genesis
3:1-7 NLT).
“….So she took some of the fruit and ATE IT. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and HE
ATE IT, too…At that moment their eyes were opened (to physical
existence WITHOUT the Holy Spirit)…” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).
The SOUL became
imprisoned to the SINFUL FLESH and a SLAVE to SIN. “… I am all too human, a slave
to sin … I want to do what is right,
but I don’t do it … I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my
sinful nature. I want to do what is right, but I can’t. I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I [am] …a slave to the sin [or the devil’s resources]… that is … within me…” (Romans
7:14-25 NLT).
The EVIL ONE is the
DICTATOR of the FLESH, which is the SINFUL NATURE and all those that follow him
are deceived by his controlling LIES. “…You are of your father the devil … He … does not
stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from
his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of
it…” (John 8:44 NLT).
They can ONLY be set FREE
by the POWER of God, the HOLY SPIRIT through Jesus Christ. “…Who
will free me from this life that is DOMINATED
by sin? …The answer is in Jesus Christ
our Lord…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). “…if the Son…shall make you FREE, ye shall be FREE indeed.”
(John 8:36 KJV).
When you are SET FREE, the original
abilities of MANKIND are RESTORED. “… He
restoreth [your]… soul….” (PSALM 23:1-3 NLT).“… [YOU]… can [NOW] do all things through Christ which
strengtheneth [you]…” (Philippians 4:13 KJV). “…It is God who works in [you]… to will and
to act in order to fulfill his good purpose” (Philippians 2:13
NIV). “… the God of peace, … that
great Shepherd of the sheep, equip[s] you with everything good for doing his will, and …work[s] in [you]… what
is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and
ever. Amen…” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV).“…NOW UNTO
HIM THAT IS “ABLE” TO DO… according
to the power that worketh in us…”
(Ephesians 3:20 KJV).
ADAM and EVE
relinquished dominion and control over to the EVIL ONE through disobedience,
but JESUS CHRIST restored it BACK to HIS people through his obedience. “…Adam’s one sin brings
condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and
new life for everyone. Because one person disobeyed God, many became
sinners. But because one other person
obeyed God, many will be made righteous…” (Romans 5:18-19 NLT).
“… The kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall
be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an
everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him…” (Daniel 7:27 KJV).
“…[God]… madest [the male and female] to have DOMINION OVER
the WORKS of thy hands; thou hast put ALL things under his feet…”
(Psalms 8:6 KJV). This passage speaks of HOW dominion and rule will be RESTORED
to God’s people through JESUS CHRIST.
Jesus REDEEMED authority BACK
from the EVIL ONE. “… Jesus (the WORD) …SPOKE to them, saying, “All authority has
been given to Me in
heaven and on earth…” (Matthew 28:18 NASB). “… The
Son of Man (the WORD) has authority on earth to forgive sins...”
(Matthew 9:6 NASB).
Jesus GAVE the authority BACK to HIS
people. “… Jesus (THE WORD) ….gave them power and authority to cast out all demons and to heal all diseases…”
(Luke 9:1 NASB “… I (JESUS, THE WORD) have given you authority to
tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and
nothing will injure you…” (Luke 10:19 NASB). “…God, who had given such authority to
men…” (Matthew 9:8 NASB). “… the ….dominion …shall
be given to the people of the saints of the most High
…and all dominions shall serve and obey him…” (Daniel 7:27 KJV).“…all authority comes from God, and
those in positions of authority have been placed there by God … …”
(Romans 13:1-5 NLT).
God, through the
indwelling Holy Spirit has RESTORED mankind and GIVEN dominion and authority
BACK to HIS people, which DESTROYS the power and control of the EVIL ONE. “… You were dead
because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then
God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He
canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to
the cross. In this
way, he disarmed] the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them
publicly by his victory over them on the cross…” (Colossians 2:13-15 NLT).
ONCE AGAIN,
God has given the ABILITY to have DOMINION and AUTHORITY BACK to “HIS” people
through JESUS CHRIST! “… Jesus (the WORD) …SPOKE to them, saying, “All authority has
been given to Me in

men…” (Matthew 9:8 NASB). “… the ….dominion …shall
be given to the people of the saints of the most High
…and all dominions shall serve and obey him…” (Daniel 7:27 KJV).“…all authority comes from God, and
those in positions of authority have been placed there by God … …”
(Romans 13:1-5 NLT).
“…I can do all things
through Christ which
strengtheneth me…” (Philippians 4:13 KJV). “…by the
GRACE of God I am what I am…” (1 Corinthians 15:10 NIV).
I HAVE BEEN GIVEN ABILITIES, THROUGH
JESUS, TO HAVE DOMINION AND AUTHORITY “OVER” ALL THE WORKS OF THE ENEMY!
“… I (JESUS, THE WORD) have given [GOD’S PEOPLE
BACK THE] authority to
tread on serpents and scorpions, and over
all
the power of the enemy, and
nothing will injure you…” (Luke 10:19 NASB).
“…God, who
had given such authority [BACK]
to men (HIS PEOPLE)…” (Matthew 9:8 NASB). “…He disarmed [THE EVIL ONE
and] the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them
publicly by his victory over them on the cross…” (Colossians 2:13-15 NLT). “… Jesus (THE WORD) ….gave [BACK TO
“HIS” PEOPLE] power and authority to cast out all demons and to heal all diseases…”

“…You gave [YOUR PEOPLE “BACK] authority over all things.” Now when it says “all things,” it means nothing
is left out …” (Hebrews 2:8 NLT).
THE FLESH,
WHICH IS THE SINFUL NATURE HAS “NO” AUTHORITY AND PROFITS NOTHING! “…the flesh (WHICH IS THE SINFUL NATURE) profiteth NOTHING…”
(John 6:63 KJV). “…NOT that
[you]… are ADEQUATE IN [YOURSELVES]… to consider anything as coming from [yourselves]…
but [YOUR]… ADEQUACY IS FROM GOD…”
(2 Corinthians 3:5 NASB). “…Human effort [done through the flesh]…
accomplishes nothing.” (John 6:63 NLT).
THIS
AUTHORITY GIVEN TO GOD’S PEOPLE, IS “ONLY” POWERFUL THROUGH JESUS (THE WORD),
THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT. “….THE
WORDS that I speak unto you, they are SPIRIT…” (John
6:63 KJV). “…GOD IS SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV). “…the Spirit
of God dwell[s]… in you…” (Romans 8:9 KJV). “…it is God
who works in you to will and
to act in order to fulfill his good purpose…” (Philippians 2:13
NIV). “…It is… GOD
WHO “DOES” THE WORK IN AND THROUGH all of us who are his. The
Holy Spirit “displays” God’s power THROUGH
each of us…” (1
Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “…he doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV). “…Our
great power is from
God…” (2 Corinthians 4:5-7 NLT).
