          GEMINI: REAPING WHAT YOU SOW

“…This people (proclaimed and professing people) honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me…” (Mark 7:6 KJV). 

“…Whatsoever a man (woman) soweth, that shall he(she) also reap….” (Galatians 6:7 KJV). “….For he(she) that soweth to his (her( flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption…” (Galatians 6:8 KJV).

“…my people would not listen to me. They kept doing whatever they wanted, following the stubborn desires of their evil hearts. They went backward instead of forward” (Jeremiah 7:24 NLT).

“But the people replied, “Don’t waste your breath. We will continue to live as we want to, stubbornly following our own evil desires” (JEREMIAH 18:12 NLT).

“…And in the PROCESS of time IT (the CONSEQUENCES of your choices) CAME TO PASS…” (Genesis 4:3 KJV).

Gemini’s head hurt as her eyes tried to adjust to the dim room. Her hands and feet were tied and she had duct tape over her mouth. OMG, I remember. Getting in the car with Simon was a BAD idea.

Gemini started to cry. She had no idea where she was. What is he going to do with me? Simon came in every day to feed her, let her go to the bathroom, take a shower, and to give her something to drink.

He wouldn’t talk to her, and he wouldn’t let her talk either.  He had a tape piped into the room. His voice was on the tape telling her Brad and her children didn’t want anything to do with her any more, she was now his wife, this was her home, and the rest were Simon’s rules, commands, and regulations.

When he did let her talk she was only allowed to repeat what was on the tape. Simon told her so many lies about her life, she got confused about what was or wasn’t true.

Gemini stayed, it seems, forever in the dim room and it made her feel like a prisoner. She wasn’t allowed to do anything, say anything, or share her OWN thoughts. Simon was in control and his abusive treatment was effective and eventually it became draining too.

Simon had isolated her from everyone and said it was her fault he had to do this to her. She tried NOT to believe Simon, but his brainwashing started to impact her thinking.

He said he was doing this for her, because he loved her. He said he was keeping her in the room until she accepted the truth about her NEW life and admit she wanted to be there with him too.

The longer she stayed in the dim room, the less she heard her own thoughts or her own voice. She started repeating Simon’s word’s, on her own. She also felt herself giving up her own ideas and opinions.

Simon saw she was weakening and began to criticize her, put her down, and insult her over and over. “...you are a cheater...” “...your family doesn’t want you anymore...” “...you are a ho and nobody wants you, but me...” “...you are MY wife, because I am the only who loves you...” “...you are not a good woman...” “...you can’t be trusted anymore...” “....Brad doesn’t want a whorish wife...” “....you’re dishonest...” “...you a sinner...” “...you hurt Brad too bad and he decided he didn’t want the relationship anymore...” “...you a LIAR...” “...you are a UNWORTHY person...”

Along with his verbal abuse, Simon would also be kind toward her and affectionate. She found herself saying things to make HIM happy or he would punish her and she started to think she deserved it.

If she was disobedient to him he would stop feeding her or caring for her.  Gemini was his prisoner and she began to fear him.

Simon convinced Gemini she no longer had a life with Brad or her children and if she didn’t cooperate he would go up north to kill them. He also never let her have any privacy. He stood in the door whenever she used the bathroom or took a shower. He controlled what she ate, what she drank, when she slept, and what she wore, which eventually turned her into his slave and servant.

The memories of her life with Brad and the children grew faint, because Simon was aggressively trying to make her forget everything.

Simon slowly gave her more freedom. First he untied her hands, then her feet, and eventually he removed the duct tape permanently. She was NOT trying to get away anymore, and she, mainly, focused on what she needed to do to appease Simon Toliver.

Gemini was NOT free to live the life she wanted, but she was free to live the life Simon wanted FOR her. Gemini was so afraid that Simon was going to kill her or her family, at first, but he’d kept her and them alive. She was grateful to him and thought she “owed”  him was his kindness.

She developed some kind of warped trust for him. On the days he was kind and affectionate she begin to believe he truly loved and cared for her.

She begin to believe that nobody loved her, but him. Gemini was tired and emotionally drained. She even started to believe she couldn’t trust anyone else, but Simon.

She was bonding with Simon in a psychologically twisted way. After weeks in the dim room, Simon said they should renew their vows. She married him willingly, in a private civil service, at the house by the water.

Simon begin to let her into other parts of the house, but if she was bad, he put her back into the dim room.  She hated that room and what it did to her psyche. She was often confused, her memory was blurred, and she would have heart wrecking flashbacks of her life with Brad. A small part of her refused to accept the reality of her situation with Simon.

Gemini’s feelings were varied. She often felt anxious, helpless, confused, nauseous, and more and more dependent upon Simon. More often than not, Simon was loving, nurturing, and tolerable. He wasn’t abusive, all the time, but just enough to mess up her thinking.

Gemini struggled with what Simon told her and her own beliefs about her life. There was a small part of her that was trying to survive “this.” Another part of her was trying not to become totally impaired mentally, emotionally, or spiritually.

Nonetheless, Simon had gained her empathy and attention through isolation and his incessant brainwashing tapes. Everyday Simon claimed he loved her so much he couldn’t ever live without her.

He said she was the reason he acted the way he did and had to put her into the dim room sometimes. She was also the reason he had to establish so many rules and boundaries, so she would, willingly, comply to their lives together.

Simon’s plan had worked its magic and he was in total control. Her ability to resist him had been severely weakened. She was his obedient servant and eventually, she was given more and more freedoms for being a “good girl.”

Simon indulged her wishes, in exchange for her following his commands. Gemini began to believe he had eyes everywhere, because he knew her every move. When he went out and left her alone, upon his return, he told her what she did, when she did it, and how she did it. And if she’d done anything he didn’t like, she was punished with the dim room and the brainwashing tape.

Gemini did everything humanly possible NOT to resist Simon. Sometimes she would get angry and lash out, but Simon was QUICK to send her in the dim room with his tape. And sometimes she would be in there for days. He didn’t tie her up any more, but there were no windows; only a dim light, and no way to get out. Sometimes there was NO food, just water.

It made her feel degraded and her sense of self-worth took a nose-dive. It made her feel like dirt or less than nothing. Her relationship with Simon was her only reality and she kept hearing the words “...you reap what you sow...”

Greater than ALL of Simon’s brainwashing was that principle “...you reap what you sow...” Gemini DID feel God’s presence like a burning light of hope, and she didn’t BLAME him for what was happening to her.

She had planted the seed of adultery and Simon was the harvest. Gemini remembered she’d sown, adultery, generously into the garden of her life and she was reaping it generously through Simon.

She freely CHOOSE to sow this sin and now she was reaping it back through Simon Toliver. It was the one thing that was crystal clear. She had sown sexual immorality, freely, and now her  harvest of sexual immorality was being forced upon her.

She had slept with Simon, by choice, and now she sleep with him by force. Sin is an EVIL SEED and its harvest is ALWAYS wickedness. I never thought it would happen to me. When God forgave me, I thought I was free from my past. I am free from sin, but the principle. ...you will reap what you sow...” won’t return void, but it will DO what the WORD says it will do.

Simon Toliver represented the adultery she’d sown and the harvest she, herself, had sown by CHOICE.

Gemini knew, deep inside, God was a gracious and merciful God. Gemini had read once that God created evil, but now she understood what it meant. “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things” (Isaiah 45:7 KJV).

The evil she was experiencing was not merely because of Simon, but it was also because of the absence of God in his heart. Just like darkness is the absence of light and cold is the absence of heat. Evil is created FROM the absence of God.

God takes full responsibility for creating evil. He created MANKIND and he created human WILL. God’s presence can freely be rejected by mankind’s own choice. Without HIS HOLY PRESENCE, however, in mankind’s hearts, their lives, their choices, or their situations...all that is present is evil.

Simon was an agnostic and the presence of God was absence, from his heart. Without God, people WERE NOT basically good, but they WERE basically a sinful, evil nature.  

Nonetheless, she felt she deserved to be Simon’s servant. She thought this was the punishment she’d earned for the years, she indulged, in her secret sin.

What she held onto, deep inside, was that it was NOT God who was punishing her. He was too merciful. Simon Toliver CHOOSE to do this to her. He was a sinful, evil nature that had NO presence of God, within his heart, to DO RIGHT.

Gemini had sown to please her adulterous sinful, evil nature too. Now she was reaping from another sinful, evil nature, which was Simon Toliver. Simon was selfish, prideful, unjust, and wanted what he wanted.

She had those same characteristics when she cheated on Brad and NOW she felt the PAIN of her ways.

She deserved what she was getting. She had done her OWN thing without regard to God or his holy standards and NOW she was being HELD, as a servant, to her “own” SEXUAL IMMORALITY. “…SIN is the transgression of the... [Holy] ... law….” (1 John 3:4 KJV).

“…Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” (Romans 6:16 KJV).

“…The [flesh]...nature  ... never did obey God’s laws, and it never will…” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).

Time continued to pass; 2015 turned into 2016 and now it was 2017 and Gemini was still with Simon. She SAW nobody for months, but Simon. She felt she loved him and cared for him now. Gemini had a baby in 2015 and she was pregnant again. She was a part of the Toliver family now.

She trusted and dependent upon Simon, for everything now. He was a good husband and father. She no longer saw him as her abductor.

Though she knew what he’d done to get her, Gemini told his family she was with him by CHOICE. She didn’t want him to get into trouble with them or the police.

Gemini had totally transformed, after being with Simon for months, and was willingly partaking in his life and activities.

She took care of the household, the baby, did the shopping, and had consensual relations with HIM. Gemini accepted her situation with Simon.

He had long before broken her psychological resolve and she became Mrs. Simon Toliver.

She could have escaped multiple times, but she didn’t. David, her brother-in-law, was always suspicious and questioned her a few times, but she told him what Simon told her to tell him. She never tried to get away or tell David the truth when his eyes pierced into hers.

She’d buried the truth, somewhere, but David suspected something was off. Gemini empathized with Simon now and she understood why he’d done what he did.

In July of 2017, the Toliver family was at a public park, barbecuing and a woman walked up to David and asked about Gemini. She said, she looked like a woman, from Gambrils that had been missing for several months.

A few days later David asked her to come into the clinic. The police arrived shortly afterwards to questioned her about her identity and possible abduction. At the sound of Brad’s and her children’s name she broke down crying. They were real! They were real!

David held her hand. Her memory returned with a vengeance and she told, the authorities, what she thought she’d completely forgotten. She suddenly felt happy and relieved while David became sad and disappointed!! Gemini’s FREEDOM had come! “ ... in the PROCESS of TIME “IT” CAME TO PASS…” (Genesis 4:3 KJV).
