THE GOOD SEED PLANTED WITHIN THE HUMAN HEART NEEDS WATER TO GROW

THE GOOD SEED PLANTED WITHIN THE HUMAN HEART NEEDS WATER

“…that they might KNOW…..the only true God and Jesus Christ…” (John 17:3)

*

Jesus is the GOOD SEED that God planted upon the earth. Jesus is also called the TRUE VINE, which has produced many branches. “…The Kingdom of Heaven (or the coming of Jesus) is like a farmer who planted good seed in his field (upon the earth)...’” (Matthew 13:24-30 NLT). “… the explanation of the parable about the farmer planting seeds...  ” (Matthew 13: 18-23 NLT). “...[FIRST,]...The seed is the word of God...” (Luke 8:11 KJV) … His name (is Jesus, AND he) is called The Word of God (the good SEED)…” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB).

The seed entrusted its CARE to the husbandman. “...He (Jesus, the Word, the GOOD SEED) gave Himself over to Him (God, the father, the Holy Spirit, and the husbandman who is always) judging justly...” (1 Peter 2:23 KJV).

The husbandman ensures the SEEDS have everything they need through constant attention, care, and cultivation. The husbandman KEEPS the crops full of the nourishment necessary to thrive, grow, reach its God-given potential, and serve its purpose. “…I (Jesus, the GOOD seed) do nothing of myself…” (John 8:28 KJV). “…the Father that dwelleth in me (Jesus), he doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV). “…He helps me…” (Psalms 28:7 NLT). HOW? “…God (the husbandman and Holy Spirit) anointed (empowered) Jesus of Nazareth (the WORD, the GOOD seed) with the Holy Spirit and POWER, …” (Acts 10:38 NIV).

This is the dynamics of the “covenant unity” relationship between God and Jesus. “...He (Jesus) gave Himself over to Him (God who is always) judging justly...” (1 Peter 2:23 KJV). “...He (Jesus) gave (entrusted) Himself (his life) over to Him (God, the Holy Spirit, the husbandman, etc.) ...” (1 Peter 2:23 KJV).

God cared for Jesus while upon earth, nurtured his life, empowered his activities, and was ALWAYS with him. “…God (the husbandman) anointed (empowered) Jesus of Nazareth (the true vine) with the Holy Spirit and POWER, and …he went around ...[producing spiritual fruit by]... doing good and healing all  (HOW?)...because …God [the husbandman]… was with him…” (Acts 10:38 NIV).

“…The [Holy] ...Spirit (the husbandman, the LIVING Water) of the Lord (the Good seed) … anointed [watered him, which empowered JESUS] to preach the gospel to the poor ... [watered him, which empowered him] to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord” (John 4:16-21 KJV). “… [Jesus was watered and EMPOWERED by the Holy Spirit and he] went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; [BECAUSE] ...GOD [THE HUSBANDMAN, the LIVING WATER] ...WAS WITH HIM…” (Acts 10:38-39 KJV).

While God TENDED to Jesus’ CARE, Jesus totally trusted and depended upon HIM, because he KNEW his divine character was absolutely trustworthy. “Father not My will, but Yours be done…" (Luke 22:42-43 NIV). “…I (Jesus, the GOOD seed) do nothing of myself…” (John 8:28 KJV). “…the Father (God, the husbandman) that dwelleth in me (Jesus), he doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV). “...He (Jesus) gave Himself over to Him (God, the husbandman) ...” (1 Peter 2:23 KJV).

Jesus had absolute, unshakable confidence, faith in, and dependency upon God, the Holy Spirit, even when he told him he would DIE a physical death, but would RISE again. “... it is written, [that]... Christ... [would suffer and]....rise from the dead the third day...” (Luke 24:46 KJV). “...he is risen...” (Matthew 28:6 KJV). “...After he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered he had said this, and they believed both the Scriptures and what Jesus had said...” (John 2:22 NLT).

The GOOD seed HAD to DIE. “...I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain...” (John 12:24 KJV). “...That which you sow does not come to life unless it dies...” (1 Corinthians 15:36 KJV). “...When you put a seed into the ground, it doesn’t grow into a plant unless it dies first...” (1 Corinthians 15:36 NLT). “…, my righteous servant (Jesus, the GOOD seed) ... [made]... it possible for many to be counted righteous…” (Isaiah 53:11 NLT).

Jesus SAID after he ROSE again. “...I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore...” (Revelation 1:18 KJV). “...he is risen...” (Matthew 28:6 KJV). “...We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him...” (Romans 6:9 NLT).

Knowing God, the Holy Spirit’s immutable, divine character, his LOVE, and unrelenting CARE for him, removed any FEAR Jesus might have had. “...We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love (like the GOOD seed did). God is love ...Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love...” (1 John 4:16-18 NLT).

“...[Therefore,]....I will fear no evil: for thou art with me...” (Psalms 23 KJV). “…[God, the husbandman is]Your rock and Your fortress, your deliverer, Your GOD, Your rock, in whom [you can] … take refuge; Your shield and the horn of Your salvation, YOUR stronghold.…" (Psalms 18:3 NASB). “...He careth for [each one of HIS people]...” (1 Peter 5:7 KJV). “…The LORD “WILL” accomplish (take care of)…that which concerns [his people]…” (John 14:31 NASB). “…God..[the husbandman]... is the one who provides [for his people]…” (2 Corinthians 9:10-13 KJV).

God loves his people and he won’t EVER disappoint them. “…God (the Holy Spirit and HUSBANDMAN) is love…” (1 John 4:4-8 KJV).  “…the Lord loves His people …” (2 Chronicles 2:11 NASB). “…the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM  (trust in and depends upon him) WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED…" (ROMANS 10:11 NASB). “…In You they trusted (had faith, depended upon, etc.,) and WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED…. (PSALMS 22:5 NASB).

Jesus was a dependent in the “covenant unity” relationship with God and he willingly CHOSE to trust and depend upon God’s CARE and LOVING instructions. Jesus chose to lay down his life for God’s purpose. I [laid]... down my life... No one [took]... it from me, but I [laid]... it down of my own accord (my own choice). I [was given]... authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command (authority, choice) I received from my Father…” (John 10:17-18 KJV).

Jesus demonstrated unwavering FAITH in God even when he sent him to the cross, allowed him die a criminal’s death, and was buried in a borrowed grave. “...Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners...” (1 Timothy 1:15 NLT).  “...Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him...” (Hebrews 7:25 NLT). Jesus came “…to give His life a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28 NIV). “...He (Jesus) [entrusted]... Himself over to [God] ...” (1 Peter 2:23 KJV).

Jesus KNEW God was NOT trying to HARM him and totally entrusted himself to God’s plans for his life. “…God is love…” (1 John 4:4-8 KJV). “…Love does NO HARM to his neighbor…” (Romans 13:10 NASB). “…The plans [God has]…for you (His people)….[are]… plans to prosper you and not to harm you...” (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV). …Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man (woman), the things which God hath prepared for them that love him...” (1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV). “...I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster...” (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT). “... I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end...” (Jeremiah 29:11 KJV).

“... But it was the Lord’s good plan to crush him (allow him to go through the trials and tribulations) and cause him grief ... his life [was made]... an offering for sin...” (Isaiah 53:10-11 NLT). “...That which you sow does not come to life unless it dies...” (1 Corinthians 15:36 KJV). “…my righteous servant (Jesus, the good seed) ...[made] ... it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he [bore]... all their sins…” (Isaiah 53:11 NLT).

Jesus did “…not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many...” (Matthew 20:28 KJV).   “...That which you sow does not come to life unless it dies...” (1 Corinthians 15:36 KJV). “…God intended... [JESUS’ trials and tribulations]... for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives...” Genesis 50:20 NIV).I [laid] down my life... [AS YOU COMMANDED, HEAVENLY FATHER] ” (John 10:17-18 KJV).

Jesus “… give His life a ransom for many...” (Matthew 20:28 KJV). “… HE WAS [spiritually] RICH, yet for your sakes he became [spiritually] poor, that ye through his poverty might be [spiritually] RICH…” (2 Corinthians 8:9 KJV).I [laid] down my life... No one [took] it from me, but I [laid] it down of my own accord (my choice). ” (John 10:17-18 KJV). “….Christ pleased not himself…” (Romans 15:3 KJV).  “…[HE WENT “ALL IN”] ...to give His life a ransom for many...” (Matthew 20:28 KJV).

Jesus demonstrated what Job felt when he said: “… though he (God) slay me, yet will I trust in [and depend upon] ...him…” (Job 13:15 KJV). “...That which you sow does not come to life unless it dies...” (1 Corinthians 15:36 KJV). Father not My will, but Yours be done…" (Luke 22:42-43 NIV). “...He (Jesus, the good seed) gave Himself over to Him (God, the Holy Spirit and husbandman) ...” (1 Peter 2:23 KJV).

Jesus KNEW God, the Holy Spirit’s divine character. He knew HE was “… able TO DO exceeding abundantly ABOVE all that we ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20 KJV). “…The things which are impossible with men are POSSIBLE with God…” (Luke 18:27 KJV).  “…I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27 KJV).

Jesus absolutely and unequivocally trusted and depended upon God. “…I (Jesus, the GOOD seed) do nothing of myself…” (John 8:28 KJV). “…the Father (God, the Holy Spirit) that dwelleth in me (Jesus), he doeth the works [and Jesus trusted and depended upon HIM]…” (John 14:10 KJV).

Because of personal experience with God, the Holy Spirit, Jesus says to the branches: “…abide in me (jesus, his living word), and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me…” (John 15:4 KJV).

Jesus lets the BRANCHES know, by experience, that ABIDING in JESUS, God’s LIVING Word and the TRUE VINE it is a WIN-WIN situation. “…God (the Holy Spirit, the husbandman, etc.)... is love…” (1 John 4:8 KJV). “…The …HOLY SPIRIT (God, the Holy Spirit, the husbandman, etc.) …is the SOURCE of [HIS people’s CARE]it is …God who does the work IN and THROUGH [his people]. The HOLY SPIRIT [will DISPLAY] God’s power THROUGH each of ...[HIS people] … (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).

“...He (the husbandman) careth for [each one of HIS people]...” (1 Peter 5:7 KJV). “... thou (God, the Holy Spirit) art with [his people]...” (Psalms 23 KJV). “…[I can confidently say to each of God’s people HE is]…Your rock and Your fortress, your deliverer, Your GOD, Your rock, in whom [you can] … take refuge; Your shield and the horn of Your salvation, YOUR stronghold.…" (Psalms 18:3 NASB). “...He careth for you (his people).” (1 Peter 5:7 KJV). “…The ...[husbandman] ...“WILL” accomplish (take care of)…that which concerns [his people]…” (John 14:31 NASB). “…God...[the husbandman]... is the one who provides [for his “own’ people] …” (2 Corinthians 9:10-13 KJV).

“…I (God, the Holy Spirit and the husbandman) will instruct thee (my people) and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I (God, the Holy Spirit) will guide thee (my people) with mine eye…” (Psalms 32:8 KJV). “…[god’s] Presence will go with [his people]…” (Exodus 33:14 NIV). “…I (GOD) am with you (my people ) always, to the very end…"(Matthew 28:20 NIV). “…[I, GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL] ... Never leave nor forsake you…” (Hebrews 13:5 KJV).

“…I (GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT) am the Lord, I change NOT” (Malachi 3:6 KJV). “…he (God, the Holy Spirit) remains faithful…” (2 Timothy 2:13 NIV).

“...He (God, the Holy Spirit) careth for you (his people)...” (1 Peter 5:7 KJV).“…[God, the Holy Spirit has] ...loved [his people]...with an everlasting love….” (Jeremiah 31:3 KJV). By the grace of God (the Holy Spirit) I am (you are) what I am (you are)” (1 Corinthians 15:10 NIV).

By the GRACE of God, trusting and depending upon HIM, Jesus BECAME what he was MEANT to be. “….the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and TO GIVE HIS LIFE as a ransom for many" (Matthew 20:28). “... I the LORD (jesus) am thy Saviour …” (Isaiah 60:16 KJV). “…You (Jesus) are ... my savior…” (Psalms 40:17 NLT).

“…the Father [God, the Holy Spirit] that dwelleth in me (Jesus), he doeth (empowers) the works (of making Jesus, the SAVIOR)…” (John 14:10 KJV). “... my Father is the husbandman. (the CAREGIVER of all mankind)..” (JOHN 15:1 KJV).

When God’s people are LIKE Jesus, trusting and depending upon him, HE will ALSO make THEM what they are MEANT to be as well. HOW? “…In this world we (God’s people) are like Jesus…” (1 John 4:17 NIV). “…If any man(woman) be in Christ, he(she) is a NEW CREATURE ” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “… [New creations]… are HIS (God’s) workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works …” (Ephesians 2:10 KJV).…it is God (the Holy Spirit and husbandman) which worketh in [new creations]” (Philippians 2:13 KJV). “…NOT that [new creations]… are ADEQUATE IN [THEMSELVES]… to consider anything as coming from [themselves]… but [THEIR]… ADEQUACY IS FROM GOD (the Holy Spirit and the husbandman)” (2 Corinthians 3:5 NASB). “…Now GOD (the Holy Spirit and husbandman) GIVES [new creations] many kinds of special abilities … (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “… The ... Holy Spirit (and the husbandman) ... is the source of ... all ... [spiritual growth, development, pruning, or cultivation of new creations]… (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “…There are different kinds of service to God …but it is the same GOD (Holy Spirit, husbandman) WHO “DOES” THE WORK IN AND THROUGH ... [new creations]... who are his… (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “…The Holy Spirit “displays God’s power THROUGH each [new creation] … (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “…It is the ... Holy Spirit who gives [new creations]... all these gifts and powers, deciding which each one of [them] should have… (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).

…It is God (the Holy Spirit and husbandman) who works IN YOU (HIS people)” (Philippians 2:13 NIV). His people can say: “by the grace of God I am what I am (they are what they are)” (1 Corinthians 15:10 NIV).

“… [New creations]… are HIS (the Holy Spirit husbandman’s) workmanship (husbandry), created in Christ Jesus (the GOOD seed, planted in their hearts) unto good works (through watering it with the LIVING water) …” (Ephesians 2:10 KJV).

May God’s people CRY OUT to God, the Holy Spirit these words: “…work IN and THROUGH ...[me indwelling Holy Spirit] … (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).

“…DISPLAY [your] ...power THROUGH [me indwelling Holy Spirit]... … (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).

“…[Indwelling]...HOLY SPIRIT …[you are] the SOURCE of [my spiritual growth, development, and spiritual fruit] … (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).

“…[I]... belong to him (god, the holy spirit and husbandman), …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).

Father not My will, but Yours be done…" (Luke 22:42-43 NIV).

... It is God (the Holy Spirit) which worketh in you (through Jesus, the GOOD seed) both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13 KJV). not My will, but Yours be done…" (Luke 22:42-43 NIV).

“… the God of peace… that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, …” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV).“… the God of peace… that great Shepherd of the sheep ...may he (the Holy Spirit) work in [his people] … what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ (the good seed)” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “... my Father is the husbandman (the living water that makes the seed grow)...” (JOHN 15:1 KJV).

“...In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust[and dependency]...” (Psalm 31:1 KJV).... It is God (the Holy Spirit) which worketh in you (through Jesus) both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13 KJV).Christ (the GOOD seed) liveth in [you]…” (Galatians 2:20 KJV).

“...God, the Holy Spirit is a “...spring of living water...” (Jeremiah 2:13 KJV). “....I (God, the Holy Spirit) will pour my Spirit upon THY SEED...” (Isaiah 44:3 KJV).

“…The Holy Spirit (the LIVING water) produces this kind of fruit in our lives [through Jesus, the GOOD seed]: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control…” (Galatians 5 NLT).

BECAUSE “... my Father is the husbandman (the living water)...” (JOHN 15:1 KJV).... God [the Holy Spirit and LIVING WATER will work within his people through Jesus, the GOOD seed]... both to will and to do of his good pleasure...” (Philippians 2:13 KJV). “… God ...equip[s his people] ...with everything good for doing his will” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV).“ ...may he (God, the Holy Spirit and Living Water continue to) work in [his people] … what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ (the GOOD seed)” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV).
