INDWELLING SPIRIT: THE SIDE OF EFFECT OF GENTLENESS

NEW BOOK COMING SOON

INDWELLING SPIRIT: SIDE EFFECT OF GENTLENESS

“…The fruit of the Spirit is love, JOY, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance…” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV).

Every believer is EMPOWERED with the indwelling Holy Spirit. “…God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son “INTO” [Y]OUR … HEARTS…” (Galatians 4:6 NASB). “…God’s Spirit dwells in you?...” (1 Corinthians 3:16 NASB).

The indwelling Spirit SPEAKS gently to the believer; ACTS gentle with the believer’ and ENDOWS the believer with gentleness.
God’s GENTLENESS constrains and channels his POWER through GRACE-filled LOVE and PROVES his ways are TOTALLY unlike man’s ways. “… [My]... thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways…..as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than you ways and my thoughts than your thoughts…” (Isaiah 55:8-9 ASV). …thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself” (Psalm 50:21 KJV).
God’s has a SPIRITUAL worldview and the believer a sinful worldview. The believer is CALLED into the covenant relationship with God for the purpose of reflecting God’s Spiritual worldview through TRUTH and FRUIT.
It is an advantage, to the believer, that the indwelling Spirit produces GENTLENESS in their lives. “…The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: … GENTLENESS” (Galatians 5 NLT).
God is omniscient and knows EVERYTHING there is about the FRUIT of GENTLENESS. “…God … knows all things…” (1 John 3:20 NASB). “…He knows the secrets of the heart…” (Psalms 44:21 NASB).
“…The fruit of the Spirit is … gentleness …” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV). Therefore, “…The Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition…” (2 Timothy 2:24-25 NASB). “…In this world we are like Jesus…” (1 John 4:17 NIV).
God is NOT timid or weak toward the believer, but GENTLE and KIND in his reactions or confrontation concerning their wrongs. “…Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself…” (Galatians 6:1 NASB).
Gentleness will ALWAYS be seasoned with GRACE as it lovingly, encouragingly, and kindly SPEAKS or ACTS in a manner that lines up with SCRIPTURE. “… In order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus…” (Ephesians 2:7 NIV).
GENTLENESS IS FROM GOD. “… The Lord … is filled with kindness” (Psalms 145:17 NLT). “… thou art a God ... of great kindness…” (Nehemiah 9:17 KJV). “… The Lord your God ... he is … of great kindness…” (Joel 2:13 & Jonah 4:2 KJV).
GOD GENTLENESS COMES FIRST. “…you have shown great kindness to me in sparing my life…” (Genesis 19:19 NIV). “…the Lord was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor…” (Genesis 39:21 NIV). “…Blessed be the Lord: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness…” (Psalms 31:21 KJV). “…We give [God]...only what [he]…first gave us! …” (1 Chronicles 29:14 NLT).
GOD’s gentleness is his presence and how he connects to you in the relationship.  “…Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near…” (Philippians 4:5 NIV). .“…It is God which worketh in [me]… both to will and to do...” (Philippians 2:13 KJV).  “…thy merciful kindness be for my comfort…” (Psalms 119:76 KJV). “…I am the Lord, who exercises kindness … on earth…” (Jeremiah 9:24 NIV). “…I have drawn you with unfailing kindness…” (Jeremiah 3:13 NIV).
GOD IMPARTS GENTLENESS. “…God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son “INTO” [YOUR HEART]…” (Galatians 4:6 NASB). “…GOD IS SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV). “…The fruit of the Spirit is … GENTLENESS…” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV). “…The Lord is that Spirit…” too (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV).  “…The Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL [GENTLENESS]…” (John 3:6 NLT). “…It is the SPIRIT who gives [GENTLENESS]…” (John 6:63 NASB). “…Your gentleness makes me great…” (Psalms 18:35 NASB).
GOD EMPOWERS GENTLENESS. …That great Shepherd of the sheep, EQUIP (empower) you with everything good [the Spirit of GENTLENESS]… for doing his will, and may he work in us (his indwelling GENTLENESS) what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “…God is SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV). “…It is God which worketh IN YOU both to will (be empowered) and to do (behave kindly)” (Philippians 2:13 KJV). “…I, Paul, myself urge you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ” (1 Corinthians 10:1 NASB).
God supplies GENTLENESS. “…God shall supply ALL YOUR NEED according to his riches in glory BY Christ Jesus…” (Philippians 4:19 KJV).….The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. ….” (PSALM 23:1-3 NLT). “…God will generously PROVIDE all … [the gentleness] … you need…” (2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT). “…In your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect…” (1 Peter 3:15 NIV). “…Your gentleness makes me great…” (Psalms 18:35 NASB).
GOD’S GENTLENESS NEVER CHANGES OR FAILS. “…I am the Lord, I change NOT” (Malachi 3:6 KJV).  “…Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8 NIV). “…The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “…I have drawn you with unfailing kindness…” (Jeremiah 3:13 NIV).
GOD’S GENTLENESS CAN’T BE SEPARATED FROM YOU, EVEN IF YOU SEPARATE FROM HIM. “…I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, to the very end…"(Matthew 28:20 NIV). “…I “IN” YOU…” (John 15:4 KJV). “…If … [you] … are unfaithful, he remains faithful…” (2 Timothy 2:13 NLT). “…my kindness shall not depart from thee … saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee…” (Isaiah 54:10 KJV).
GOD’S GENTLENESS LASTS FOREVER.  “…his merciful kindness is great toward us ... endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord…” (Psalms 117:3 KJV).
GOD’S GENTLENESS IS SO POWERFUL IT IS A “SIGN” THAT YOU ARE HIS DISCIPLES AND THAT YOU “TRULY” KNOW HIM. “…Let him show by … good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom…” (James 3:13 NASB). “…Ye shall know them by their fruits…” (Matthew 7:16 KJV). Therefore, "… bear much fruit, and … PROVE to be … [God’s] … disciples” (John 15:8 NIV).  “… In everything we do, we show that we are true ministers of God. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind … We prove ourselves by … our kindness, by the Holy Spirit within us …. God’s power is working in us…” (2 Corinthians 6:3-7 KJV).
GOD’S GENTLENESS is a fruitful side effect of the ingested holy spirit. “…The fruit of the Spirit is … gentleness…” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV).
God’s GENTLENESS is understood by faith. “… BY FAITH we UNDERSTAND (become aware of)that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen…” (Hebrews 11 NLT). “…The fruit of the (invisible) Spirit is gentleness…” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV). “…The invisible [Spirit]…from the creation of the world is …clearly seen, being understood by the things that are MADE …” (Romans 1:20 KJV). “… All things are … [MADE] … NEW…” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “…Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a NEW creature ” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “… BY FAITH we UNDERSTAND (become aware of) …” (Hebrews 11 NLT). “…Ye shall know them by their fruits…” (Matthew 7:16 KJV). “…The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance…” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV).
GOD”S GENTLENESS IS EXPERIENCED BY TRUST. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV). “…The LORD will accomplish (take care of)…that which concerns [you]…” (John 14:31 NASB). “…The steps of a good man are ordered (directed) by the Lord:” (Psalms 37:23 KJV). “…We prove ourselves by … our kindness, by the Holy Spirit within us …. God’s power is working in us…” (2 Corinthians 6:3-7 KJV).
God’s GENTLENESS is revealed through surrender. “…Surrender your… power…” (Jeremiah 4:4  NLT). I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me” (John 6:38 KJV).  “….the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others " (Matthew 20:28). “…I must be about my Father's business?” (Luke 2:49 KJV). “…I desire to do your will, my God…” (Psalms 40:8 KJV). “…I have come to do your will, my God'" (Hebrews 10:7, 9 KJV). “…I do nothing of myself…” (John 8:28 KJV). “…present your bodies a living sacrifice…” (Romans 12:1 KJV). “…the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV). “… He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8 NASB).
GOD’S GENTLENESS IS OFTEN “NOT” BELIEVED. “…Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God…” (Hebrews 3:12 KJV). “…See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God…” (Hebrews 3:12 NIV). The Centurion said to Jesus “…I DO believe; HELP me overcome my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24 NIV).
GOD’S GENTLENESS IS RECEIVED. “…RECEIVE with meekness the engrafted word …” (James 1:21 KJV). "…Truly I tell you, if anyone … DOES NOT DOUBT in their heart but believes … it will be done for them.” (MARKS 11:23 NIV). “… lean not unto thine own understanding …” (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV). “…My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” (Hosea 4:6 NIV). “…God is Spirit …” (John 4:24 KJV). “…ANYONE WHO COMES TO HIM MUST BELIEVE THAT HE (and his gentleness) EXISTS…” (Hebrews 11:6 NIV). “…Submit yourselves to the Lord…” (2 Chronicles 30:8 NLT). “REPENT and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (which includes gentleness)….” (Acts 2:38 NASB). “…he shows unfailing kindness to his anointed…” (2 Samuel 22:51 NIV). ...only believe…” (Mark 5:36 KJV).
God’s GENTLENESS clothes you. “…clothe yourselves with …gentleness…” (Colossians 3:12 NASB).
god has given you his GENTLENESS. “…I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord, the deeds for which he is to be praised, according to all the Lord has done for us— yes, the many good things he has done for Israel, according to his compassion and many kindnesses…” (Isaiah 63:7 NIV).
God’s GENTLENESS is spiritual. “…GOD IS SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV). “…The fruit of the Spirit is … gentleness ...” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV).
God’s GENTLENESS is forever.
“…his merciful kindness... endureth for ever…” (Psalms 117:3 KJV).
God supplies you with enough GENTLENESS and gives you enough to share it with others. “…God shall supply ALL YOUR NEED” (Philippians 4:19 KJV). “…God will generously PROVIDE all … [the GENTLENESS] … you need…” (2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT). . “…my cup runneth over (with kindness)…” (Psalms 23:5 KJV). “…Show to me and the country where you now reside as a foreigner the same kindness I have shown to you…” (Genesis 21:23 NIV).
God’s GENTLENESS is displayed as spiritual fruit in your life and others can see it. “…Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see…” (Matthew 15:14-15 NASB). “…Ye shall know them by their fruits…” (Matthew 7:16 KJV). “…The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance…” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV).
If you do NOT have the indwelling Spirit, you are NOT one of God’s children and the fruit is the evidence. “…That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God. But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.)….” (Romans 8:8-11 NLT). “… The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance…” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV).
