Many BELIEVERS quote the cliché that “ONCE SAVED; “ALWAYS” SAVED”, as the
guarantee of their ETERNAL SECURITY. They CLAIM: “... In Him ,.. [they]... WERE SEALED ...WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT OF
PROMISE.…” (Ephesians 1 NLT). “... the Holy Spirit of
God, by whom you were sealed for the day of
redemption...” (Ephesians
4:30 NASB). “...after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise...” (Ephesians 1:13 KJV).
The
Word also says, “... Do not quench (extinguish, put out the light) the [Holy]...
Spirit...” (1 Thessalonians 5:19 NASB).
You
can QUENCH or PUT out THE LIGHT when you CHOOSE to FALL
AWAY or DEPARTED from God. This DECISION will SEPARATE YOU from God, the “HOLY” Spirit or LIGHT and his
GRACE. “…Your INIQUITIES … separated … you and your God…”
(Isaiah 59:2 KJV).
Even through, “... In Him,.., you WERE SEALED IN ... WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT OF
PROMISE.…” (Ephesians 1 NLT). “... Do not quench (extinguish, cut off,
separate from) the [Holy]... Spirit...” (1
Thessalonians 5:19 NASB). “... the word of
God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword,

You
ARE sealed, but the WORD can CUT asunder the SEAL between the SOUL AND SPIRIT
when it TELLS you “SIN” will put a separation between YOU and God.
Falling
away or departing from God will CUT you OFF from God, the Holy Spirit and cut asunder the SEAL.

The SECURITY of SALVATION is BASED on GOD’S
IMMUTABLE LOVE, GOD’S IMMUTABLE GRACE, GOD’S IMMUTABLE CHARACTER, GOD’S IMMUTABLE
WORD, AND GOD’S IMMUTABLE HOLINESS.
He
has “….loved [you]...with an
everlasting love….” (Jeremiah 31:3 KJV). “…There is no
greater LOVE …” (John 15:13 NLT). “…My GRACE is sufficient
for you….”

those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers.....” (Romans 2:5-13 NLT). “...HE THAT “SHALL” (WILL) ENDURE UNTO THE END SHALL (WILL) BE SAVED...” (Matthew 24:13 KJV).
THE SECURITY OF SALVATION IS BASED UPON
WHAT GOD HAS DONE FOR YOU, “THROUGH” Jesus Christ. “…Christ died for [your] sins
according to the scriptures…” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV).
“…Christ [first]…suffered for us in the flesh
…” (1 Peter 4:1-3 KJV). “…he
[was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are
healed (freed from SIN)…” (Isaiah 53:5 KJV). “…his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human
being and his form marred beyond human likeness—“ (Isaiah 52:14 NIV). “….God SHOWED HIS GREAT
LOVE FOR US by sending
Christ to die for us while we were still sinners…” (Romans 5:7-9 NLT). “… because HE FIRST LOVED US…” (1
John 4:19 ASV).
YOUR ONGOING, ENDURING TRUST
IN OR DEPENDENCY UPON WHAT HE HAS DONE is the SECURITY OF YOUR SALVATION. God “…spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us
all….?” (Romans 8:32 KJV). “…God so loved the world that HE GAVE his only begotten
Son…” (John 3:16 KJV). “...[Jesus]... said, It is finished…” (John 19:28-30 KJV). “… I lay down my life... [FOR YOU] …” (John 10:17-18 KJV). Jesus did “…not come
to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many...”
(Matthew 20:28 KJV). “... Herein is love, not that we loved God, but
that he loved us and SENT His SON to be the propitiation (substitute, intervention)
for our sins.” (1 John 4:10 KJV). “…There is no greater love …” (John 15:13 NLT).
“….neither death, nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things
present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other
creature, shall
be able to separate [you]… from the love of God which is “in” Christ Jesus our

ETERNAL LIFE IS THE END
RESULT OF “THAT” FAITH OR DEPENDENCY UPON GOD’S LOVE. “... He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But he will
pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness....” (Romans 2:5-13 NLT).
YOU CAN’T GET TO
ETERNAL LIFE WITHOUT COMING THROUGH “THE
SECURITY OF SALVATION” FOUND “ONLY” IN AN ONGOING, DURABLE TRUST IN AND
DEPENDENCY UPON JESUS CHRIST (The WAY). “…By
his death, Jesus opened a
new and life-giving way ... into the Most Holy Place (ETERNAL LIFE)…” (Hebrews 10:19-20
NLT). “Jesus saith…I am the way…”
(John 14:6 KJV). “…"This is the way; walk
in it…" Isaiah 30:21 NIV). “…THE
WAY is narrow that LEADS TO
LIFE, and
there are few
who find it…” (Matthew 7:13-14 NASB).

WORD SAYS JESUS “IS” THE WAY. Jesus saith…I am the way…”

I will guide thee with mine eye…”

THERE IS NO OTHER WAY
TO GET TO ETERNAL LIFE. THE SECURITY IS NOT IN ETERNAL LIFE, IT IS IN THE SECURITY
OF YOUR SALVATION. “…There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,
but the end thereof are the ways of DEATH...” (Proverbs
14:20 KJV). “…Jesus
saith unto him, I
AM THE WAY (the PATH) … …” (John 14 6
KJV).
“…and
the sin of unbelief (falling away or departing
from god), when it is finished, BRINGETH
FORTH DEATH (Spiritual death)…”
(James 1:13-15 NLT).

SALVATION” IS THE ONLY POSSIBLE HOPE FOR THOSE WHO WERE “ONCE ENLIGHTENED.”
THE SECURITY OF YOUR SALVATION IS DEPENDENT
UPON HIS LOVE. “... [God’s]…love never fails…” (1
Corinthians 13: 4-8 NIV). Therefore, “….neither death, nor life, nor angels nor
principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height
nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate [you]… from the love of God which
is “in” Christ Jesus our Lord…” (Romans 8:38-39 KJV).
“…by
the GRACE of God I am what I am…”
(1 Corinthians 15:10 NIV). I AM LOVED. YOU ARE LOVED, FOREVER!!
GOD IS A LOVING,
MERCIFUL, FORGIVING, AND GRACIOUS GOD. “…the things which are impossible with men ARE POSSIBLE WITH
GOD…” (Luke 18:27 KJV). “….I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: IS THERE ANY THING
TOO HARD FOR ME?”
(Jeremiah 32:27 KJV). “…NOW UNTO HIM THAT IS
ABLE to do exceeding
abundantly above all that we ask or THINK, according to the power that
worketh in us…” (Ephesians 3:20 KJV).
DEPENDING UPON ETERNAL
SECURITY WILL “NOT” GUARANTEE YOU THE “GIFT” OF ETERNAL LIFE, BUT DEPENDING UPON
THE SECURITY OF YOUR SALVATION,
WHICH IS BASED ON GOD’S IMMUTABLE LOVE; “WILL” GET YOU TO ETERNAL LIFE! “…HE (the indwelling Holy Spirit) “WILL” KEEP YOU STRONG
to the end…” (1 Corinthians 1:8 NLT). “…God has said “Never will
I leave you; never will I
forsake you…” (Hebrews 13:5 NIV). “…I AM
WITH YOU ALWAYS, to the very end…"(Matthew
28:20 NIV). “…Behold, I AM WITH… [YOU] and … I WILL NOT LEAVE [YOU] …." (Genesis 28:15 ASV “…Behold,
I am with … [you]
and will keep … [you] whithersoever [you]… goest…I will not leave [you] ..." (Genesis 28:15 ASV).
BETWEEN ACCEPTING
CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR AND THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE; THERE
IS A “WAY” YOU MUST TRAVEL. Jesus saith…I am the way…”

WAY. JESUS IS THE “ONLY” WAY.
ACCEPTING CHRIST AS SAVIOR “OPENS” THE
DOOR TO THE WAY!
THE “DOOR” TO THE WAY IS NOT THE
DESTINATION IT IS THE PATH. YOU MUST CHOOSE TO TRAVEL THAT PATH IN ORDER TO GET
TO THE DESTINATION (ETERNAL LIFE). Jesus
saith…I am THE
WAY …” (John 14:6 KJV). “….Apart from Me, you can do nothing…” (John 15:5 NIV). “…This makes it clear that our great power (TO ENDURE TO THE END) is from God, not
from ourselves…” (2 Corinthians 4:5-7
NLT). “…the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works…”
(John 14:10 KJV).
JESUS IS THE WAY AND ETERNAL LIFE IS THE
DESTINATION! “… to ...
those who
were once enlightened— AND THEN TURN AWAY…”
