HOLY LOVE IS KIND

“…Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, It is not easily angered, It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres, Love never fails…” (1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 NIV).

God’s HOLY KINDNESS, is gracious (always undeserved), merciful (always unmerited), great, marvelous, everlasting, rich, and generous toward those he LOVES. God’s HOLY KINDNESS is expressed through his benevolence (goodness) toward his loves ones. “… [So when] Moses said, “Now show me your GLORY.” …The Lord said, “I will cause all my GOODNESS to pass in front of you…” (Exodus 33:16-23 NIV). “…for the lord is GOOD (an expression of kindness)…” (Psalm 100:5 KJV). “Thou are GOOD and doest GOOD…” (Psalm 119:68 KJV). “…Oh how great is thy GOODNESS…” (Psalm 31:19 KJV). “…for he is GOOD…” (Psalm 107:1 KJV). “..The lord is GOOD…” (Nahum 1:7 KJV). “…GOOD and upright is the Lord…” (Psalm 25:8 KJV). “…For thou, Lord, is GOOD…” (Psalm 86:5 KJV). “……the riches of his GOODNESS….” (Romans  2:4 KJV).“…Surely GOODNESS and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…” (Psalms 23 KJV).

God’s HOLY KINDNESS, is gracious (always undeserved), merciful (always unmerited), good, made him choose you, fueled him to save you, drove him to give you eternal life, and motivated him to restore you to spiritual prosperity again. God’s HOLY KINDNESS is expressed through the tender way he cares for his loved ones. “… The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate …” (Psalms 103:13 NLT). “… I led Israel along with my ropes of kindness and love…” (Hosea 11:4 NLT). “…Though the Lord is great, he cares for the humble…” (Psalms 138:6 NLT). “… I am the one who answers your prayers and cares for you…” (Hosea 14:8 NLT). “… if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith (dependency upon him)?” (Matthew 6:30 NLT). “…The Lord cares about our bodies…” (1 Corinthians 6:13 NLT). “… No one hates his own body but feeds and cares for it, just as Christ cares for the church (the body of Christ)…” (Ephesians 5:29 NLT). “… Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you…” (1 Peter 5:7 NLT).

God’s HOLY KINDNESS, is gracious (always undeserved), merciful (always unmerited), tender, affectionate, gentle, warmhearted, and extremely friendly toward you. God’s HOLY KINDNESS is expressed through the way he helps those he loves. “…Blessed are those who wait for his help…” (Isaiah 30:18 NLT). “…The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him (depend upon him) with all my heart. He helps me…” (Psalms 28:7 NLT). “…The Lord helps them, rescuing them from the wicked. He saves them, and they find shelter in him…” (Psalms 37:40 NLT). “…The Lord helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads…” (Psalms 145:14 NLT). “…The Lord who made you and helps you says: Do not be afraid …my servant …my chosen one…” (Isaiah 44:2 NLT). “… The Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do his will. And I know that I will not be put to shame…” (Isaiah 50:7 NLT).  “… The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness…” (Romans 8:26 NLT). “…I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance…” (Philippians 1:19 NLT). “…You are my helper and my savior…” (Psalms 40:17 NLT).

God’s HOLY KINDNESS, is gracious (always undeserved), merciful (always unmerited), is a strength when needed, will protect, shelter, and keep you safe; won’t allow you to be disgraced, saves you,  will rescue you from wickedness, picks you up when you fall down, and lightens the heavy burdens. God’s HOLY KINDNESS is expressed through the sympathy (compassion) he demonstrates toward his love ones.“… The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness…” (Exodus 34:6 NLT). “… I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose…” (Exodus 33:19 NLT). “… The Lord was gracious unto them, and had compassion on them, and had respect unto them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, neither cast he them from his presence as yet…” (2 Kings 13:23 KJV). “…The Lord, the God of their ancestors, repeatedly sent his prophets to warn them, for he had compassion on his people…” (2 Chronicles 36:15 NLT). “…he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not…” (Psalms 78:38 KJV).  “… Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth…” (Psalms 86:15 KJV). “…The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love…” (Psalms 103:8 NLT). “… The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him…” (Psalms 103:13 NLT). “… He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion…” (Psalms 111:4 KJV). “… Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous…” (Psalms 112:4 KJV). “… the Lord will give justice to his people and have compassion on his servants…” (Psalms 135:14 NLT). “…The Lord is good to everyone. God’s HOLY KINDNESS, is gracious (always undeserved), merciful (always unmerited), filled with unfailing love, long suffering, makes himself our tender and caring Father, is a comforter, is always good, just, everlasting, and perpetual. God’s HOLY KINDNESS is expressed through how considerate (thoughtful) he is toward his love ones. “… Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us…” (Psalms 40:5 KJV). “… since I am poor and needy, let the Lord keep me in his thoughts…” (Psalms 40:17 NLT). “… How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!” (Psalms 139:17 NLT). “… I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end…” (Jeremiah 29:11 KJV). “… For the Lord is the one who shaped the mountains, stirs up the winds, and reveals his thoughts to mankind…” (Amos 4:13 NLT).

God HOLY KINDNESS leads to repentance, leads to salvation, and leads to multiple blessings. “Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?” (Romans 2:4 KJV). “…Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?” (Romans 2:4 NLT).

“…The grace of our Lord was poured out (transferred) on [mankind]… abundantly, along with faith and love that are in Christ Jesus…” (1 Timothy 1:13-14 NIV). “…BY GRACE have [mankind]… been saved THROUGH FAITH; and that NOT OF … [them]SELVES, IT IS THE GIFT OF [REAL LOVE]…GOD…” (Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV). “…It is your Father's GOOD PLEASURE to GIVE YOU the kingdom…” (Luke 12:32 KJV). “…Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, WHO HAS BLESSED US with “EVERY” SPIRITUAL BLESSING in the heavenly places in Christ…” (Ephesians 1 NLT). “…I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly….” (John 10:10 KJV).

God’s HOLY KINDNESS, is gracious (always undeserved), merciful (always unmerited), calls you to repent, forgives ALL your sins, saves you by grace through faith, cleanses you from all unrighteous, pours his Holy Spirit into your heart, and blesses with EVERY spiritual blessing.
