LOVE DOES NOT DISHONOR. HONOR FROM "HIS" PERSPECTIVE!!

HOLY LOVE DOES NOT DISHONOR

“…Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, It is not easily angered, It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres, Love never fails…” (1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 NIV).
*
 “…God is LOVE…” (1 John 4:4-8 KJV). “…God is [REAL]… LOVE…” (1 John 4:4-8 KJV). “…LOVE …DOES NOT DISHONOR…” (1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 NIV).
To dishonor means to act inappropriately toward another or disrespectful. It means to act impolite by belittling other people, being rude, behaving ill-mannered, and showing no courtesy, “…LOVE …DOES NOT DISHONOR…” (1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 NIV).
God’s HOLY LOVE involves honorable actions and responses toward those he loves with expressions and demonstrations of HELPING; not HARMING “…Love does no wrong (harm) to others…” (Romans 13:10 NLT).
Dishonorable behavior is witnessed more and more in the 21st century culture; even among God’s OWN people.  “… The time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God’s household” (1 Peter 4:16 NLT). “…This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me…” (Mark 7:6 KJV).
God’s OWN people are behaving and saying things that were unheard of JUST a generation ago. for thy heart is not right in the sight of God…” (Acts 8:21 KJV).
Unfortunately, there are rude and dishonorable behaviors that have become acceptable and commonplace even within the body of Christ. “….If my people, which are called by my name, SHALL HUMBLE THEMSELVES …AND TURN FROM their wicked ways I [will]… hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal …” (2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV).
Dishonorable behavior STEM from selfishness and clearly communicates that it’s ALL about the RUDE person. “…Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude…”  (1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 NIV).
God has and shows respect for those he loves at all times. God’s kind of RESPECT expresses concern for those he loves and thus, is ALWAYS polite to them. “…You are honored[and God]… love[s]… you (values you, respects you, is polite to you, etc.)…” (Isaiah 43:4 NLT).
God’s HOLY love is always expressed, witnessed, and demonstrated with tenderness, gentleness and respect. “… The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate …” (Psalms 103:13 NLT). “… I am the one who answers your prayers and cares for you…” (Hosea 14:8 NLT). “… If God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith (dependency upon him)?” (Matthew 6:30 NLT). “… Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you…” (1 Peter 5:7 NLT).
God is the ultimate example of how to HONOR others. God’s actions, toward his people, overflow with politeness. His truth is always spoken with courteous love. LOVE is “NEVER” rude. “…Love is …not … rude…”  (1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 NIV).
God’s HONOR for his people is CLEARLY shown through his actions and his words. He encourages his OWN people to do the same, “….Give to everyone what you owe them: … if honor, then honor…” (Roman 13:7 NIV).
God’s HOLY LOVE IS both a visual and verbal demonstrate of undeserved honor for his people. By the GRACE of God I am what I am (honored)” (1 Corinthians 15:10 NIV).
God’s honorable behavior is witnessed as courtesy, kindness, thoughtfulness, servitude, good manners, assistance, and compassion toward his loved ones. God follows his OWN biblical mandate. “…honour ALL…” (1 Peter 2:17 KJV).
God “IS” HONOR. “…Thine, O Lord “is” the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty (honor)” (1 Chronicles 29:11 KJV). “…Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the ONLY wise God, be HONOR and glory for ever and ever. Amen….” (1 Timothy 1:17 KJV). “…Blessing and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever…” (Revelation 5:13 KJV).
God’s divine nature ALONE is embedded with HONOR. He doesn’t NEED man’s honor; though he may DESIRE it. “… Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour …” (Psalms 104:1 KJV).
HE possesses HONOR, all by himself, whether mankind bestows upon him or not. “…Blessing and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him ” (Revelation 5:13 KJV).
In fact, the ROLES that God assigns to his people come with his HONOR stamped upon it and embedded within it. “…No one takes the honor to himself, but receives it when he is called by God, even as Aaron was.…” (Hebrews 5:4 NASB). “…He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers...” (Ephesians 4:11 NASB). Therefore, “….Give to everyone what you owe them: … if honor, then honor…” (Roman 13:7 NIV).  “…No one elects himself to this honored position. He’s called to it by God, as Aaron was. Neither did Christ presume to set himself up as high priest, but was set apart by the One who said to him, “You’re my Son; today I celebrate you!” In another place God declares, “You’re a priest forever in the royal order of Melchizedek.”…” (Hebrews 5:4-6 MSG).
HONOR belongs to God. “…To you, O God, belong the greatness and the might, the glory, the victory, the majesty, the splendor…” (1 Chronicles 29:11 MSG).
God is HONORABLE because of his DIVINE position. “…Everything in heaven, everything on earth; the kingdom all yours! You’ve raised yourself high over all (position of honor, title of honor (GOD))…” (1 Chronicles 29:11 MSG).
Thus God’s HOLY LOVE HONORS the UNHONORABLE. “…I have given you a title of honor ” (Isaiah 45:4 NLT).
God’s HOLY LOVE MAKES the UNHONORABLE HONORED. “…No one takes the honor to himself, but receives it when he is called by God…” (Hebrews 5:4 NASB).
God’s HOLY LOVE HONORS the UNHONORABLE through his blessings. “…BLESSINGS are on the head of the righteous…” (Proverbs 10:6 NASB).  “…You surround him WITH FAVOR as with a shield…” (Psalms 5:12 NASB). “…you will be a blessing…” (Genesis 12:2 NIV). “…By the grace of God I am what I am…” (1 Corinthians 15:10 KJV).
God’s HONOR doesn’t depend on whether someone deserves it, earns it, or is worthy of it. God HONORS the UNHONORABLE, because he chooses to and he loves them. “…I have given you a title of honor ” (Isaiah 45:4 NLT). WHY?  “…You are honored …. I love you…” (Isaiah 43:4 NLT).
HONOR is an expression of HOLY LOVE . “…You are honored …. I love you (respect you)…” (Isaiah 43:4 NLT). “…Love …does not dishonor others….” (1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 NIV).
God’s HONOR is expressed through the indwelling fruit of his Holy Spirit. “…The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness (respect, honor), goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance (manners, courtesy, politeness, etc.)…” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV).
God’s choice to HONOR his people is about WHO HE is as the God of LOVE“…God is LOVE…” (1 John 4:4-8 KJV). “…God honors mankind [by choice]. …” (Psalms 37:34 NLT)
Thus, God’s HONOR toward you doesn’t depend on whether you are honorable or not.. “..My … honor come[S]... from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me…” (Psalms 62:7 NLT). “… Others were given in exchange for you. I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you…” (Isaiah 43:4 NLT). “…I have given you a title of honor ” (Isaiah 45:4 NLT). “…The Lord has honored me, and my God has given me strength…” (Isaiah 49:5 NLT). Therefore, the Word says; “…Sit in a place of honor…” (Isaiah 52:2 NLT).
Showing HONOR, for God, becomes synonymous to showing HOLY LOVE. “…You are honored…[and]… I love you (I honor you)…” (Isaiah 43:4 NLT). God HONORS "YOU" and she HONORED.
When God’s HOLY LOVE places you in a position of HONOR AND no one can take your God-given HONOR away. “…You are honored …” (Isaiah 43:4 NLT). “…I (GOD) have given you a title of honor ” (Isaiah 45:4 NLT). “…When I act, who can reverse it?"…” (Isaiah 43:13 NIV).
God has given HONOR to his people and NO disrespectful treatment wroth by themselves or anyone else can REVERSE what God has DONE!! God says:  “….No one can undo what I have done…" (Isaiah 43:13 NLT). “…he hath blessed… [them with honor]; and I cannot reverse it” (Numbers 23:20 KJV). “…he has blessed…[them with honor], and I cannot change it…” (Number 23:20 NIV). “…For the LORD of hosts has planned, and who can frustrate it? And as for His stretched-out hand, who can turn it back?"…” (Isaiah 14:27 NASB). “…I (GOD) have given you a title of honor ” (Isaiah 45:4 NLT). “…the counsel of the LORD will stand” (Proverbs 19:21 NASB). “…Not one of the good promises which the Lord had made … failed; all came to pass…” (Joshua 21:45 NASB).  “…So … my word … that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11 KJV). “…Sit in … [the]… place of honor … [I have given you]…” (Isaiah 52:2 NLT).
Honor, therefore, is bestowed upon those, who are his children by GRACE and in their special God-given roles. “… AS MANY as received him, to them GAVE HE POWER TO BECOME THE SONS OF GOD…” (John 1:12 KJV). “…I (GOD) have given you a title of honor ” (Isaiah 45:4 NLT). God has “….loved [you]...with an everlasting love….” (Jeremiah 31:3 KJV). “…Let no one deceive you with empty words…” (Ephesians 5:6 NASB). “…I (GOD) have given you a title of honor ” (Isaiah 45:4 NLT). “…the counsel of the LORD will stand” (Proverbs 19:21 NASB).
God’s HONOR, for you, comes from his heart. God chooses to honor you. “… Length of days is in her right hand; and in her (and YOUR) left hand riches and honour…” (Proverbs 3:16 KJV). “…You are honored ...I (god)…love you…” (Isaiah 43:4 NLT).
LOVE HONORS; IT DOES NOT DISHONOR!
