The UNIQUE covenant relationship is a type
of marriage where, God, the Holy Spirit , which is
non-physical and man’s SOUL, which is also non-physical become ONE.“…He(she) that is joined (UNITED together)
unto the Lord (Jesus) is ONE spirit… [with God again]” (1
Corinthians 6:17 KJV).
In the beginning, God said: “….LET US MAKE man … after
our likeness (non-physical)…” (Genesis 1:26 KJV). “…in his OWN image (SPIRIT)…..male and female created he them…” (Genesis 1:27
KJV). “…And the LORD God formed man [of]
the dust of the ground (body), and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (Holy Spirit); and man became a living soul (soul)…” (GENESIS 2:7
KJV). “….God saw every thing he had made……and, behold, it was very good…” (Genesis 1:31
KJV).
However, God became SEPARATED from mankind
by SIN. “…It’s YOUR
SINS that have cut you off from God (who is HOLY)…”
(Isaiah 59:2 NLT).
God,
the HOLY SPIRIT desired to share this unique “oneness” with “HIS” people
AGAIN. He made a WAY (salvation) through faith in or dependency upon Jesus
Christ, the WORD of God. “… [THE WORD]… It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who
believes (WHO DEPENDS UPON JESUS CHRIST, HIS WORD)…” (Romans 1:16 NLT). “…The Father (God, the
Holy Spirit) … he doeth the works…” (John 14:10

Jesus, the WORD, which is also SPIRIT, has
the POWER to BOND and REUNITE the Holy
Spirit and man’s SOUL together again like God FIRST created them. “… [He sent the ] …one

reconcile
God and humanity—the
man Christ Jesus…” (1

whole (SAVES,

Spirit), that [YOU] also may be in [ONE OR UNITED

This Holy “ONENESS” is the reuniting of man’s soul and God’s Holy Spirit through
Jesus, the WORD.
GOD RESTORES MANKIND “BACK” TO THE ORIGINAL
CREATED “IMAGE.” “…man (woman)

Only the “breath of life” or “the HOLY
SPIRIT” can return mankind BACK to God’s original, created “image” that was ONCE so VERY good? “…Jesus Christ maketh thee whole

God’s gracious and merciful FAVOR of the
restored covenant relationship is PRAISEWORTHY, FOREVER. THE SOUL is the REAL YOU. The soul is the
authentic, non-physical, self. The authentic self includes the emotions,
affections, appetites, conscience, personality, and HEART/THOUGHTS (command
center of the SOUL).
The heart/thoughts are the command center
of the SOUL. The soul’s HEART actually houses the THOUGHTS, which listens to,
or teams up with, or agrees with, or is influenced by either the indwelling Holy Spirit or the outward
sinful nature to motivate. “…If two … shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they
shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven…” (Matthew 18:19
KJV). “....Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Amos 3:3 KJV).
The soul is in agreement with either the
SPIRIT or the sinful behavior.“…The sinful nature wants to do
evil, which is just the opposite of what the [Holy] Spirit wants. And the [Holy] Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite
of what the sinful nature (body) desires. These TWO FORCES are constantly fighting each other, so you are not FREE to carry out your good intentions.
…” (Galatians 5 NLT).
“…The sinful
nature
is always
hostile to God (therefore, the old mindset, affected by the sinful
nature, is also hostile to God). It never did
obey God’s laws, and it never will.
…” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).
The HEART/THOUGHTS are initially influenced
completely by the sinful nature and require TRANSFORMATION. “…those who are still under the control of
their sinful nature (through the old mindset (thoughts)) can never please God.
…” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT). “…Be
transformed by the renewing of your mind [The command center of YOUR SOUL)….”
(Romans 12:2 KJV).
The body, soul, and God’s Holy Spirit were once ONE UNIT or in a covenant relationship
TOGETHER.
In the beginning man’s heart/thoughts were
TOTALLY influenced by God’s Holy Spirit.
Man’s heart/thoughts were HOLY (set apart and
totally FREED from sin).
Before SIN entered into the world, mankind
ONCE had the FREEDOM to choose to follow God’s “one” HOLY instructions and only
had ONE choice to make: to obey.
But after FREELY choosing to be led away from
God, the Holy Spirit’s commandment
they became separate from him by following after the enticements of the
BODY/FLESH. “…It’s YOUR
SINS that have cut you off from God (who is HOLY)…”
(Isaiah 59:2 NLT).
Following after
the enticements of the BODY/FLESH led them away and separated them from God, the Holy Spirit, and his image. “… [their] … iniquities (sin) …separated [them]… from God… …” (Isaiah 59:2
KJV).
It is the
Holy Spirit who EMPOWERS man’s SOUL to be and live FREE from SIN.
Their FREEDOM to choose to follow God’s Holy
instructions was LOST to the EVIL ONE.
The EVIL ONE was now the MASTER of man’s SOUL
through their OWN body/flesh. “….When
you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves (to willfully follow them), you are slaves of the one you obey
(follow)…” (Romans 6:16 NIV).
“…I am …. a slave to sin.. …” (Romans 7:14-25
NLT). They NO longer had the SPIRITUAL ABILITY TO “CHOOSE” holiness.
WHY? “…and SIN, when it is finished, BRINGETH FORTH
DEATH
(Spiritual death)…” (James 1:13-15 NLT).
“…The trouble is with me, for I am all too human (now), a slave to sin … I want to do what is
right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do
what I hate. So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does
it. And I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my
sinful nature. I want to do what is right, but I can’t. I
want to do what is good, but I don’t…”

God
SPOKE the world into existence and he SPOKE to Adam and Eve. His VOICE was
audible and it sounded as if he was WALKING in the garden. “… [Adam and Eve]… heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day …” (Genesis 3:8 KJV).
However, and in addition to HEARING his
VOICE “walking” “IN” the garden, they HID themselves from his PRESENCE. “… [Adam and Eve]… heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day …and hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst trees of the garden…” (Genesis 3:8 KJV).
“…GOD IS SPIRIT…” (John 4:24
KJV). When God STARTED creating the world his SPIRIT “…moved upon the face of the waters…and [then]
God SAID….” (Genesis
1:2-3 KJV). “…The invisible [Spirit]…from
the creation of the world …[was] ...clearly
seen, being
understood by the things that are made…” (Romans 1:20
KJV).
God’s SPIRIT is “clearly SEEN” by the things MADE which means the VOICE of the
SPIRIT moved through the GARDEN and MADE a walking SOUND. “… [Adam and Eve]… heard the voice of the Lord God walking …” (Genesis 3:8 KJV).
Regardless of HOW the voice of the LORD, God
was heard WALKING or MOVING through the garden; God’s -who is SPIRIT - VOICE
was HEARD. “… [Adam
and Eve]… heard the voice …” (Genesis 3:8 KJV).
God SPEAKS to his people through Jesus, HIS
WORD, which is SPIRIT. “…THE WORDS THAT I (Jesus, the WORD) SPEAK unto you, they ARE SPIRIT…” (John 6:63
KJV).
WHY ARE GOD’S WORDS SPIRIT? “…God is Spirit…” (John 4:24 KJV).
“… “I AM
WHO I AM…” (Exodus
3:14-15 NASB).
AND God also confirms HIS WORD through
signs, wonders, and miracles, such as SALVATION, TRANSFORMATION, and
CONFIRMATION. “…[GOD]… moved upon the face of the waters…and [then] God SAID…” (Genesis
1:2-3 KJV).
God MOVES today, which is CLEAR by the
things MADE. “…If any man be in (reunited
to) Christ, he is a [MADE into a] NEW creature: old things are passed away; behold, ALL THINGS are
become NEW…” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV).
The indwelling
HOLY SPIRIT is God’s WAY of bonding and connecting to his people once they
are SAVED by the POWER of his WORD. “… [The WORD of GOD]... is the power of God at work (through the
CONFIRMING work of the HOLY SPIRIT), saving everyone who believes (depends upon the
word)…” (Romans 1:16
NLT).
“…God
has given [you] HIS [Holy] Spirit as PROOF that … he [dwells]…in [you]…” (1 John 4:13 NLT
“…God … SENT forth the [Holy]
Spirit of His Son “INTO” [Y]OUR… HEARTS (SOULS)…” (Galatians

God’s indwelling
Holy Spirit RETURNS to REUNITE mankind’s SOUL to “HIS” HOLY SPIRIT again.

God, the
HOLY SPIRIT comes to dwell in YOU by REUNITING with your SOUL in a covenant

In addition, God, the Holy Spirit, being the HUSBANDMAN or CAREGIVER of the
covenant relationship takes FULL responsibility for supplying ALL the NEEDS of
the believer. “…My God
will supply all your [need]… according
to His riches in glory in
Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 NASB). “…Your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have
need of all these things…”
(Matthew 6 KJV).
God is your provider!
Jehovah Jireh is your provider!! Therefore, you are assured, “…God will generously provide all [I]… need…
[too]. [Therefore, I] … will always have everything [I]… need and plenty left over
to share with others” (2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT).
Jesus told his
disciples, regarding provisional need, “..take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink;
nor yet for your body, what ye shall
put on…” Also, “…the fowls of the
air….sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly
Father feedeth them…” Therefore, “…if God so clothed the grass of the field,
which today is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?” AGAIN
“Take
no thought, saying What shall we
eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Where withal shall we be clothed?” “…your
heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things…” “But
seek ye first the kingdom of God,
and his righteousness; all these things
shall be added unto you.” “…therefore [take] no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for
itself, Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” (Matthew 6:25-34
NIV).
Paul said, “…My God
will supply all your [need]…” (Philippians 4:19 NASB). “Need,” in this
scripture, is something deemed essential from God’s perspective; therefore,
anything else (desire, want, greediness, self-indulgence, etc,) IS NOT.
If you are a parent or
have been a parent, you supplied the needs of your children based on what you
thought was best for them.
Even if the children
complain or whine for something they “feel” they need, parents ultimately
decide what’s best. “Since
we respected our earthly fathers who
disciplined us, shouldn't we submit even
more to the discipline of the Father
of our spirits, and live forever?” (Hebrews 12:9 NLT).
God does the same thing
when it comes to “.., “…[supplying] all your
[need]…” (Philippians 4:19 NASB).
He knows you so well
and knows exactly what you need at all times, better than you do. “..You have searched me,
Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and
when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my
lying down; you are familiar with all my ways…”
(Psalm 139:1-3 KJV).
Remember when God
speaks to you he is coming from a holy perspective, not a worldly one. “…the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life…” (John
6:63 KJV).
There are financial,
social, and physical needs which are important to each of us, but they may be
deemed temporary or provisional to God.
But spiritual needs,
which are perpetual need (grace,
mercy, forgiveness, etc.) may be deemed essential to God as well as eternal.
God is Spirit and thus
eternal needs may often take priority over other needs in many situations and
circumstances of your life.
When God talks about
supplying your need, He is talking about both the ongoing, daily perpetual (eternal) needs and the provisional (temporary) needs.
The bottom line is that
God promises, through Paul, that “…[He] will supply all your [need]… according to His riches in
glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 NASB).
You have NEEDS and “…your heavenly Father already knows ALL your needs…”
(Matthew 6:32 NLT). “…And God will generously
provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to
share with others…” (2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT).
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in
green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he
leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I
walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou
art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table
before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my
cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my
life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever” (Psalms 23 KJV).
However, you willfully choose
to ABIDE in HIM through the covenant relationship. “… [He sent the ] …one
… who can {reunite the covenant relationship between) God
and humanity—the
man Christ Jesus…” (1
Timothy 2:5 NLT). “…He(she) that is joined (UNITED together,
in a covenant relationship) unto the Lord (Jesus) is ONE spirit… [with God again]” (1
Corinthians 6:17 KJV).
Thus, “…[choose to] ...abide
in me, and I in you.
(John 15:4 KJV). “…Apart from Me (apart
from the covenant relationship with the Holy Spirit), you can do nothing…” (John 15:5 NIV). “…[Abide
with HIM and he] WILL supply all [your need]…
according to His
riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 NASB).
THE PROCESS OF
GOD’S FAVOR TO YOU!!! It begins with the shed blood of Jesus, given in exchange
for HIS life (death upon the cross), that restores GOD’S FAVOR to YOU.
“... It is the blood, given in exchange for [Jesus’ precious LIFE], that makes purification possible...” (Leviticus 17:11 KJV).
“... One of the soldiers ... pierced his (Jesus’)
side with a spear, and immediately blood (LIFE) and water (HEALING, CLEANSING SPIRIT) flowed out...” (John 19:34 NLT).

The BLOOD is the ATONEMENT.

GOD’S FAVOR is the qualified atonement, the restoral of spiritual life, the new creation,
being accepted in the beloved, his unspeakable
gift of gifts, empowered strength
and abilities, being cared for by God, the Holy Spirit (YOUR CAREGIVER), becoming A
BLESSING, BEING
GIVEN THE “GIFT” OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, and reuniting into the covenant relationship, where all your needs are met.
