GOD’S FAVOR: SPIRITUAL STRENGTH
AND SPIRITUAL ABILITIES
“….“…I
want to do what is right, but I
can’t. I want to do what is good, but I don’t…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). “…I can do all things through
Christ which
strengtheneth me…” (Philippians 4:13 KJV). “... it
is God who WORKS IN YOU…” (Philippians 2:13 NIV). “…the Father that
dwelleth in me, he doeth the works…” (John
14:10 KJV). “…The … HOLY SPIRIT …does the work IN and THROUGH
all of us who are his… (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).
*
God’s
FAVOR is the indwelling Holy Spirit
that provides spiritual strength and empowers new spiritual abilities to the
believer. “…[I].. can do all
things through Christ which strengtheneth [ME]…”
(Philippians 4:13 KJV). “…[Christ]...Strengthened [you]… with might by his Spirit in the
inner man…”
(Ephesians 3:16 KJV). “… [Christ strengthens
you]…according to the POWER that worketh
IN [YOU]…” (Ephesians 3:20 KJV). “… God … work[s] … in … [you] … what is
pleasing to him, through
Jesus Christ…” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “…the Father … he doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV).
“…[It] ...is [his] ...Spirit who
dwells in you…”
(Romans 8:11 NASB).“…GOD IS SPIRIT…”
(John 4:24 KJV). “…Jesus Christ is in you…”
(2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). “…The Spirit of God dwell[s] in you…” (Romans 8:9 KJV). . “I and
the father are one...[AND THE SAME]...” (John 10:30 KJV).
“... It is God who
WORKS IN YOU…”
(Philippians 2:13 NIV). “…The … HOLY SPIRIT
…does the work IN and THROUGH all of us who are his… (1
Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “…the Father that dwelleth in me, he
doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV).
You have the INDWELLING Holy Spirit to strengthen you to
live a righteous and holy (freedom from sin) life. “…[I].. can do all things through
Christ which
strengtheneth [ME]…” (Philippians 4:13 KJV).
You have the INDWELLING Holy Spirit to EMPOWER you to
live a righteous and holy (freedom from sin) life. “…[I].. can
do all things through Christ which strengtheneth [ME]…”
(Philippians 4:13 KJV).
“…My God will supply all your [need]… according
to His
riches in glory in Christ Jesus…” (Philippians
4:19 NASB).
“…Your heavenly Father already knows ALL your needs…”
(Matthew 6:32 NLT). “…And God will generously
provide all you need.
Then you will always have
everything you need and plenty left over to share with others…”
(2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT).
“The Lord is my shepherd; I
shall not want...”
(Psalms 23 KJV).
If the INDWELLING Holy Spirit SUPPLIES “ALL” your NEEDS, what is your responsibility?
“…God will supply all your [need]… according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians
4:19 NASB). “…Jesus Christ is in you…” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV).
Your responsibility is to choose to DEPEND
upon HIM (his indwelling Holy Spirit and POWER). “… to whom ye yield
yourselves servants to obey (serve), his servants ye are to whom ye obey(serve); whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto
righteousness...” (Romans 6:16 KJV). “…Choose you this day whom ye will
serve (obey)….” (Joshua 24:15 KJV). “... choose LIFE…” (Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV). Jesus had another name.
“… His name is called The Word of God…” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB). “... Jesus
saith…I am
(the WORD is) ...the life…” (John 14:6 KJV).
You willfully choose to abide with the Holy Spirit and DEPEND upon him with all
your heart, mind, soul, and understanding. “…[CHOOSE
TO] ...abide in me, and I in you. (John 15:4 KJV).
“…If a man (woman) [chooses not to] ... abide NOT in me, ‘he (she) is cast forth as a branch, and is withered…” (John 15:6 KJV).“… unless you...[choose to]... abide in Me
... you can do nothing…”
(John 15:4-6 NASB).
“…
[You willfully choose to]…trust in the Lord
with all thine heart...” (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV).
A DEPENDENT BELIEVER chooses to
trust in the WORD of God and depend upon the Word’s power to do what it says it
will do. “… [God is] … watching
over [his]… Word to perform it…” (Jeremiah 1:12 NASB). “…So shall my
word be
that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper
in the thing whereto I sent it”
(Isaiah 55:11 KJV).
A DEPENDENT BELIEVER is someone who chooses to rely upon God, the Holy Spirit to supply ALL of their needs.
“…God will generously
PROVIDE all you need…” (2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT). “...He careth for you.” (1 Peter 5:7 KJV).
“…The LORD (the indwelling Spirit) “WILL” accomplish (take care
of)…that which concerns [you]…” (John 14:31 NASB).“…God
is the one who provides …” (2
Corinthians 9:10-13 KJV). “….Apart from [Jesus]…YOU CAN DO
NOTHING…” (John 15:5 NIV).
The dependent believer KNOWS they cannot rely upon their own strength.
“…I want to do what is right, but I can’t. I want to do what is good, but I don’t…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
A dependent believer cannot sustain their FREEDOM from sin, in any
area of their lives, without HELP from the indwelling Holy Spirit. “… unless you...[choose to]... abide in Me
... [you]... can do nothing…”
(John 15:4-6 NASB). “…He helps me…”
(Psalms 28:7 NLT “… The Sovereign Lord helps
me…” (Isaiah 50:7 NLT). “…[god, the holy
spirit “is”] my helper and my
savior…” (Psalms 40:17 NLT). “….Apart from [Jesus]…[you] ...CAN DO NOTHING…” (John 15:5 NIV).
Once you are FREE from sin and the sin nature YOU ARE FREE!!!“... It was for freedom that
Christ set us free...”
(Galatians 5:1 NASB). “If the Son therefore shall
make you free, you
SHALL be free indeed...” (John 8:36 KJV). “…where the Spirit (the indwelling Holy Spirit) of the Lord is, there
is liberty (freedom)...” (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV).
Without depending upon the indwelling
Holy Spirit YOU would be dominated by the weakness of the flesh (sinful
nature). “…Who will free me
from this life that is dominated by Sin [and the sin nature?] …” (Romans
7:14-25 NLT).
If
you CONTINUE or GO BACK to trusting in or depending upon the sin nature
or flesh; you are choosing to trust in or depend upon the very thing that enslaved you in the first place. “…The
sinful nature
is always hostile to God …” (Romans
8:1-14 NLT). “...[The SINFUL NATURE]... never did obey
God’s (HOLY) laws,
and it never will…” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).“…The
sinful nature wants to do evil,
which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants ...so
you are not free to carry out your good intentions. …
…” (Galatians 5 NLT). “….“…I
want to do what is right, but I
can’t. I want to do what is good, but I don’t…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
“…It is the [indwelling
holy] ...SPIRIT who “GIVES” [SPIRITUAL] ...LIFE; the flesh (sinful nature)
profits nothing…” (John 6:63 NASB).
The sinful nature or the flesh
will only end up enslaving you again! “….you [will become] ... slaves of the one you obey (serve)…” (Romans 6:16 NIV). “... It was for freedom that
Christ set us free ... do not be
subject again to a
yoke of slavery...”
(Galatians 5:1 NASB).
God has FREED you from sin, but if you get entangled to a yoke of
slavery again, you volunteered for the position. “If
the Son therefore shall make you free, you SHALL be free indeed...” (John 8:36 KJV).
A dependent believer willfully
chooses to rely upon Jesus Christ, the
indwelling Holy Spirit. “…Who will free me from
this life that is dominated by SIN [and THE SINFUL NATURE?) …” (Romans
7:14-25 NLT). “…Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord (THE
INDWELLING SPIRIT)…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). “…Jesus Christ is IN YOU…” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV).“…my helper and my savior…”
(Psalms 40:17 NLT). “….Apart from
[Jesus]…[you] ...CAN DO NOTHING…”
(John 15:5 NIV).
“... It is God
(the indwelling Holy Spirit) which worketh in you ...” (Philippians 2:13 KJV). “… [The
INDWELLING Holy Spirit has] ...equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in [you,
through the indwelling Holy Spirit]… what is pleasing to him, through
Jesus Christ…” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV).
“…The …[indwelling]
...HOLY SPIRIT …is the SOURCE of [your spiritual strength and empowered
abilities]… (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).
“…it is
…God [the indwelling Holy Spirit] ... who does the work IN and THROUGH all
of us who are his… (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).
“…The [indwelling]...HOLY
SPIRIT DISPLAYS God’s power THROUGH [you] … (1 Corinthians
12:4-11 NLT).
“…It is
God who works in [you]… to will and
to act in order to fulfill his good purpose” (Philippians 2:13
NIV).
“…[Jesus
said]…the Father that dwelleth in me, he
doeth the works…”
(John 14:10 KJV).
A dependent believer, therefore, is NOT self-sustaining and is at
the mercy of God’s indwelling Holy Spirit
to supply spiritual strength and spiritual abilities. “….Apart from [Jesus, the
indwelling Holy Spirit], [they]... can do nothing…” (John 15:5 NIV). “…[Jesus
even said about himself]…the Father that dwelleth in me, he
doeth the works…”
(John 14:10 KJV).
“…God anointed Jesus of Nazareth (HOW?) with the Holy Ghost and WITH POWER…” (Acts 10:38-39 KJV).
What did the indwelling Holy Spirit (the anointing) emPOWER (strengthen) Jesus
to do (abilities)? “…The [Holy] ...Spirit … anointed [empowered
JESUS] to preach the gospel to the poor ... [empowered
him] to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the
acceptable year of the Lord…” (John
4:16-21 KJV).
“… [Jesus, EMPOWERED by the Holy Spirit, also] went about doing good, and healing
all that were oppressed of the devil; [HOW
WAS JESUS ABLE TO HAVE THESE ABILITIES? BECAUSE,] ...GOD [THE HOLY SPIRIT] ...WAS
WITH HIM…” (Acts 10:38-39 KJV). “…The Father that dwelleth in [JESUS], he
doeth the works…”
(John 14:10 KJV).
A DEPENDENT BELIEVER’S very spiritual strengthen and spiritual
ability is contingent upon the indwelling Holy Spirit. “…The …[indwelling] ...HOLY SPIRIT …is the SOURCE of [your
spiritual strength and empowered abilities]… (1 Corinthians
12:4-11 NLT).
“…It is
…God [the indwelling Holy Spirit] ... who does the work IN and THROUGH all
of us who are his… (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).
“…The [indwelling]...HOLY
SPIRIT DISPLAYS God’s power THROUGH [you] … (1 Corinthians
12:4-11 NLT).
“…It is
God who works in [you]… to will (strength) and
to act (ability) in order to fulfill his good purpose”
(Philippians 2:13 NIV).
A dependent believer is the total opposite of someone who is a
self-reliant believer.
A self-reliant believer thinks of
themselves as having a certain amount of spiritual strength and spiritual
abilities without depending upon the indwelling Holy Spirit for it. “..The trouble is with me, for I am all too human, a slave to sin ... . I want to do
what is right (choose to depend upon the indwelling HOLY SPIRIT), but I can’t. I want to do
what is good, but I don’t …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
A self-reliant believer thinks they do not
need God’s help for spiritual strengthen or doing good religious things. “..I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my
sinful nature.…” (Romans 7:14-25
NLT).
The self-reliant believer is aware they
have human will (strength) and therefore, have the human ability to make choices,
with their lives, without being totally dependent upon the indwelling Holy Spirit. “...nothing good lives
in me, that is, in my sinful nature. …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
An self-reliant believer OFTEN relies upon
themselves and are unaware self (the flesh, the sinful nature) will eventually
let them down, make them legalistic and religious, and lead them away from
abiding in God. “... I want to do
what is right (without choosing to depend upon the indwelling HOLY SPIRIT), but I can’t. I want to do
what is good, but I don’t …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
“…The sinful
nature
is always hostile to God …” (Romans
8:1-14 NLT). “...[The SINFUL NATURE]... never did obey (HOLY) God’s laws, and it never
will…”
(Romans 8:1-14 NLT).“…The sinful nature
wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants ...so you
are not free to carry out your
good intentions. … …” (Galatians 5 NLT). “...nothing good lives
in me, that is, in my sinful nature. …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). “….“…I want to do what is right, but I can’t. I want to do what is good, but I don’t…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
On the other hand, a dependent believer
relies upon the indwelling Holy Spirit.
ALL TRUE BELIEVERS ARE DEPENDENTS. “…. if any man (woman) be in Christ, he (she) is a NEW
creature: old things are passed away; behold, ALL things are become new” (2
Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “…Christ liveth in
[you]…” (Galatians 2:20 KJV). “….OLD THINGS (life without the indwelling Holy Spirit) are passed…”
(2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “... It
is God (the indwelling Holy Spirit) which worketh in you both to
will and to do of his
good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13 KJV). “… [The indwelling Holy Spirit
will]... equip you with everything good for doing
his will, and may he work in [you, through the indwelling Holy
Spirit]… what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ…”
(Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “I can do all
things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Philippians
4:13 KJV).
Depending upon God (to live free, be spiritually
strong, or spiritually empowered) comes through Jesus Christ, the indwelling
Holy Spirit, and is foundational for the Christian life. “….Apart from [Jesus, the indwelling Holy Spirit],
you can do nothing…” (John 15:5 NIV).
Depending upon what you DON’T
see is the purpose of faith. DEPENDENT BELIEVERS walk by FAITH in the truth
that God, the Holy Spirit, DWELLS in them.
The BIBLE says:“…God is not human “…God is Spirit …Does
he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill…”
(Numbers 23:19 NIV & John 4:24 KJV).
DEPENDENT BELIVERS trust in and depend
upon the WORD. “…God is not human …” (Numbers 23:19 NIV). “…GOD IS SPIRIT…”
(John 4:24 KJV). “…the
Spirit of God dwell in [them]…” (Romans 8:9 KJV).
Dependence upon Jesus, with ALL your heart
is critical for walking in the NEWNESS of Spiritual Life. “…Trust
in (depend upon) the Lord with all
thine heart…” (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV). “…Walk in
NEWNESS of life…” (Romans 6:4 KJV). “….Apart from [Jesus], [you]... can do nothing…” (John 15:5 NIV).
The DEPENDENT believer RELIES upon
the indwelling Holy Spirit to supply
spiritual strength and to EMPOWER them with spiritual abilities. “… [They] can do all things (HOW?) THROUGH Christ which
strengtheneth [them]…”
(Philippians 4:13 KJV). “…[They] ... will
live by
“his” faith (whose faith?)…”
(Habakkuk 2:4 NASB). “… [They] live by “the faith of” the Son of God. …”
(Galatians 2:20 KJV). WHO STRENGTHENS THEM AND EMPOWERS THEM? “…the Father that
dwelleth in [THEM] “he doeth” the works…” (John 14:10 KJV).
DEPENDENT BELIEVERS RELY UPON the indwelling HOLY SPIRIT FOR “ALL” THEIR NEEDS. “…God is the one who provides …” (2 Corinthians
9:10-13 KJV). “… God will supply all [their need]…” (Philippians
4:19 NASB). “…God will generously PROVIDE all [their]... need…”
(2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT). “…The
Lord is [their] shepherd; [THEY]
...shall not want …” (Psalms 23:1 KJV).
“…
[They] ... will always have everything
[THEY]... need …”
(2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT). JEHOVAH –JIREH means: "The Lord Will Provide."
DEPENDENCE upon the HOLY SPIRIT began with salvation. “…BY GRACE have ye been saved through … FAITH …” (Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV). “… [The WORD, THE HOLY SPIRIT)… is the
power of God at work, (MIRACULOUSLY) saving
everyone who believes (depends upon his word)…”
(Romans 1:16 NLT). “…[YOU ARE] ... Saved … NOT OF YOURSELVES ... not of works (SELF-RELIANCE), that no man should glory…”
(Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV). “…[salvation]… IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD…”
(Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV).
“…So the promise (salvation) is received by faith (or DEPENDENCE
UPON the Holy Spirit)…” (Romans 4:16 NLT). “…we have obtained our introduction by faith (or by DEPENDING UPON the Holy Spirit)
into this grace (unmerited FAVOR) in which we stand (salvation)…” (Romans
5:2 NASB). “…the promise (of salvation
comes) by faith
(or DEPENDING UPON the Holy SPIRIT) in Jesus Christ might be given
to those who believe…” (Galatians 3:22 NASB). “…The Father that dwelleth in [THEM] he doeth the works (he doeth the WORK of SALVATION)…”
(John 14:10 KJV).
“... [SALVATION]... NOT OF
YOURSELVES, IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD; not of works, that no man should glory…”
(Ephesians 2:8-9 ASV).
The NEW convert DEPENDS UPON the Holy Spirit
to do the WORK of SALVATION (the work of SAVING them). They also depend
upon the Holy Spirit to CLEANSE their
hearts. “…cleansing their hearts
by faith (or
DEPENDING UPON the HOLY SPIRIT)…” (Acts 15:9 NASB). “…I WILL GIVE you a NEW heart, and I will put a NEW SPIRIT in you…” (Ezekiel 36:26 NLT). “…The Father
that dwelleth in [you] he doeth the works (he doeth the
WORK of cleansing the heart)…” (John 14:10 KJV).
The NEW convert DEPENDS UPON the Holy Spirit
to do the WORK of SALVATION and SANCTIFICATION. “…who have been sanctified by faith (or by DEPENDING UPON the Holy Spirit) in Me…” (Acts 26:18 NASB). “… The God of peace Himself SANCTIFY
you ENTIRELY…” (1 Thessalonians 5:23 NASB). “…The Spirit of God dwell in you…” (Romans 8:9 KJV). “…The Father
that dwelleth in [you] he doeth the works (he doeth the
work of sanctification)…” (John 14:10 KJV).
The NEW convert DEPENDS UPON the Holy Spirit
to make them RIGHT with God. “…He that
is joined unto the LORD is ONE SPIRIT…” (1 Corinthians 6:17
KJV). “…A right relationship with
God that comes by faith (OR DEPENDENCE
UPON THE HOLY SPIRIT)…” (Romans 4:13 NASB). “…A person is made right with God by faith (or DEPENDENCE
UPON the Holy Spirit) in
Jesus Christ …” (Galatians 2:16 NLT).
“…The Spirit of God dwell in you…”
(Romans 8:9 KJV). “…God has said “Never will I leave you; never
will I forsake you…” (Hebrews 13:5 NIV). “…The Father (the HOLY SPIRIT) that
dwelleth in [you] he doeth the works…”
(John 14:10 KJV).
The NEW convert DEPENDS UPON the Holy Spirit
to do the WORK of RIGHTEOUSNESS. “…The
righteousness which is by faith (by DEPENDENCE UPON the Holy Spirit)…”
(Romans 9:30 NASB). “…I am the Lord who …brings …righteousness to the
earth…” (Jeremiah 9:23-24 NLT). “….not
having a righteousness of my own … but that which is through faith in (DEPENDENCE UPON) Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the
basis of faith (dependence)…” (Philippians 3:9 NASB). “…The Father (the
SPIRIT) that dwelleth in [you] he doeth
the works…” (John 14:10 KJV).
The indwelling
HOLY SPIRIT “DOES” the WORK of STRENTHENING and EMPOWERING the DEPENDENT BELIEVER “…The
Holy Spirit produces (EMPOWERS DEPENDENT
BELIEVERS WITH) this kind of fruit in [their] lives….” (Galatians 5 NLT). “…God is Spirit …” (John 4:24 KJV). “…The Spirit of God dwell in you…” (Romans 8:9 KJV). “…The Father (the Holy Spirit) that
dwelleth in [THEM] he doeth the works (he doeth the
WORK of strengthening and empowering DEPENDENT BELIEVERS)…”
(John 14:10 KJV).
The NEW convert DEPENDS UPON the Holy Spirit
to do the WORK of justifying them
before God.. “…A man is justified (made right with god) by faith (by DEPENDING
UPON the holy spirit)…” (Romans 3:28 NASB). “…Ye are JUSTIFIED in
the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the SPIRIT of our GOD…” (1
Corinthians 6:9-11 KJV). “…God is
Spirit …” (John
4:24 KJV). “…The Spirit of God dwell in you…” (Romans 8:9 KJV). “…The Father (the HOLY
SPIRIT) that dwelleth in [YOU] he doeth
the works…” (John 14:10 KJV).
The NEW convert DEPENDS UPON the
indwelling Holy Spirit to produce fruit (abilities). “…The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in [y]our lives….” (Galatians 5 NLT). “…The
Spirit of God dwell in you…” (Romans 8:9 KJV). For
instance, “…The righteous will
live by
[fruit produced by the holy spirit]... …” (Habakkuk 2:4 NASB). “…The righteous man shall live by faith (by the fruit of faith produced and empowered by
the indwelling Holy Spirit)…” (Romans 1:7 NASB). “… [They] walk by faith (by the fruit of faith produced and empowered by
the indwelling Holy Spirit)…” (2 Corinthians 5:7 NASB). “... [They] live by faith (the fruit of faith empowered and produced by the
indwelling Holy Spirit) [that’s] in the Son of God …”
(Galatians 2:20 NASB). “… [They] live; yet not [NOT them], but Christ liveth IN
[THEM]…” (Galatians 2:20 KJV). “…For it
is God who WORKS IN [THEM]…”
(Philippians 2:13 NIV). “…The Father that dwelleth in [them] he doeth the works (he doeth the WORK of producing and
empowering spiritual fruit )…” (John 14:10 KJV).
DEPENDENT BELIEVERS depend upon the indwelling HOLY SPIRIT to DO the WORK of
producing spiritual fruit and empowering his strength “IN” and “THROUGH” them “…Jesus Christ is in [them]…” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). “…Christ in you, …” (Colossians 1:27 KJV). “…The
Spirit of God dwell in [them]…” (Romans 8:9 KJV). “…The Father (the SPIRIT) that
dwelleth in [them] he doeth the works…”
(John 14:10 KJV).
The
indwelling Holy Spirit empowers the believer to depend upon God
for EVERY spiritual PROVISION and NEED. “…The
Holy Spirit produces (EMPOWERS) this kind of
fruit in [y]our lives….”
(Galatians 5 NLT). “…That
great Shepherd of the sheep, EQUIP you
with everything good [through the Holy Spirit,]… for doing
his will…” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “…That great Shepherd of the sheep … may he work in us (through the Holy Spirit)
what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ (the WORD)…”
(Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “For it is
God which worketh IN YOU both to
will (to empower) and to do (to enable)
of his good pleasure”
(Philippians 2:13 KJV “…The Father (the HOLY SPIRIT) that
dwelleth in [you] he doeth the works (he doeth the
works of empowering your faith)…” (John 14:10 KJV).
“It is God which
worketh IN YOU…” (Philippians 2:13 KJV). “…The Father that dwelleth in [you] he doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV). “…The righteous will live by “his” faith…”
(Habakkuk 2:4 NASB). “…by the grace of God I am what I am…” (1
Corinthians 15:10 NIV). “… [I NOW] live by the faith of the Son of God. …”
(Galatians 2:20 KJV).
Your spiritual strength and your spiritual
abilities ALL “DEPENDS” upon the Work of God’s indwelling HOLY SPIRIT!! God’s FAVORABLE love GIFTS you with
spiritual strength and spiritual abilities.
“…Every good GIFT and every
perfect GIFT is from above, and cometh down from the Father of
lights…” (James 1:17 KJV). “…The LORD SHALL GIVE (that
which is good (strength and abilities)…” (Psalms 85:12
KJV). “…A man can receive nothing (strength and
abilities), except it BE GIVEN him (her)
from heaven…” (John 3:27 KJV). “…What do you have (such as strength and abilities) that God hasn’t
given you? (1 Corinthians 4:7 NLT).
“…BLESSED
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who HATH BLESSED us with all spiritual blessings
in heavenly places in Christ…” (Ephesians
1:3 KJV). “…Jesus Christ is
in [them]…” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). “….Apart from [Jesus],
[you]... can do nothing…” (John 15:5 NIV). “…The [indwelling Holy Spirit] ...
that dwelleth in [them] he doeth the works…”
(John 14:10 KJV).
YOU “CHOOSE” TO DEPEND UPON HIM!
THE PROCESS OF
GOD’S FAVOR TO YOU!!! It is the shed blood of Jesus, given in exchange for HIS
life (death upon the cross), that restores GOD’S FAVOR to YOU.
“... It is the blood, given in exchange for [Jesus’ precious LIFE], that makes purification possible...” (Leviticus 17:11 KJV).
“... One of the soldiers ... pierced his (Jesus’)
side with a spear, and immediately blood (LIFE) and water (HEALING, CLEANSING SPIRIT) flowed out...” (John 19:34 NLT).
“.... It is the blood ... that makes purification
possible...” (Leviticus 17:11 NLT).
The BLOOD is the ATONEMENT.
“…God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son (and that
Spirit “FLOWS OUT” ] “INTO” [YOUR HEART]…”
(Galatians 4:6 NASB). “…The Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE…”
(John 3:6 NLT).“…I will put a new spirit (NEW SPIRITUAL LIFE) in you…”
(Ezekiel 36:26 NLT).
“…The Lord (JESUS) is that
Spirit[UAL LIFE]…” (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV). “…Jesus saith…I am …THE LIFE…”
(John 14:6 KJV). “…Jesus Christ is IN YOU…”
(2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV).
“…If
any man (woman) be in Christ, he(she) is a NEW creature …” (2
Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “... The old life is gone...” (2 Corinthians 5:14-18 NLT). “… [because] … all things are … [MADE] … NEW…”
(2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV).
“…[YOU
ARE] ...ACCEPTED
in the beloved (Jesus Christ)…” (Ephesians 1:6 KJV).
“…Thanks
be unto God for his unspeakable GIFT…” (2 Corinthians
9:15 KJV).
“…I can do ALL THINGS through Christ
which strengtheneth
me…” (Philippians
4:13 KJV). .“…it is God (the indwelling Holy
Spirit) which worketh in [me]… both to will
(strength) and to do (abilities)...” (Philippians
2:13 KJV). “... The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
and self-control. …”
(Galatians 5 NLT).
GOD’S FAVOR is the qualified atonement, the restoral of spiritual life, the new creation,
being accepted in the beloved, his unspeakable gift
of gifts, and empowered
strength and abilities.
GOD’S FAVOR: SPIRITUAL STRENGTH AND SPIRITUAL ABILITIES.
