“…The fruit of the Spirit is love, JOY, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance…” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV).

“…Peace I leave with you; My
peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I
give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful…”
(John 14:27 NASB). Jesus was getting ready to depart from his disciples, but he
was leaving them the “gift” of PEACE.
It was traditional for salutations
to begin or end with “shalom, shalom”
or “peace, peace.” “…Jesus came and stood among them and said,
“Peace be with you!”
(John 20:19 NIV).
The “gift” of PEACE was a
decree that signified a sincere desire of prosperity, well-being, rest, inner
harmony, tranquility, serenity, or health. “…I am leaving you with a GIFT—peace of mind and
heart… a GIFT
the world cannot give.” (John 14:27 KJV).
So the gift Christ left behind
held a POWER to bless and to fulfill one with a PEACE that transcended ALL
circumstances. “…The peace of God,
which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ
Jesus…” (Philippians 4:7 NIV).
“…Peace I leave with you; My
peace I give to you
…” (John 14:27 NASB). Jesus’ salutation, in John 14:27, had immense
significance because he said it, he meant it, he would provide it, and they
would possess it.
“…May … peace be yours in the fullest measure…”
(1 Peter 1:3 NASB).
The GIFT of PEACE that Christ
bestowed upon his disciples was his own self because PEACE is inseparable from
his presence. “…May God himself,
the God of peace …”
(1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 NIV). “…Gideon built an altar to the Lord… and named
it YAHWEH–SHALOM (which means "The Lord Our Peace”)…” (Judges 6:24 NLT). “…He will be called Wonderful Counselor,
Mighty God, Everlasting
Father, Prince of Peace…”
(Isaiah 9: 6 NIV).
Thus, God’s PEACE is HIS
presence, the believer experiences, that indicates he is connecting, relating,
or attaching to them. “…you
will experience God’s peace ... His peace
will guard your hearts and
minds as you live in Christ Jesus…”
(Philippians 4:7 NLT). “… “in” me you may have peace…”
(John 16:33 NIV).
The wicked does NOT and will
NOT have the PEACE of God’s presence. “…There
is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked…”
(Isaiah 48:22 NIV).
The indwelling Spirit
has the FULL and COMPLETE responsibility or duty for managing “ALL” aspects of PEACE
in HIS relationship ROLE with the believer. “…Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we
have peace with
God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has
done for us…”
(Romans 5:1 NLT).
The indwelling Spirit
creates an atmosphere of PEACE in the relationship with the believer. “…
“in” me you may have peace…”
(John 16:33 NIV).
The believer is GIVEN
more than enough PEACE for themselves and to share with others. The believer is
encouraged to PURSUE this PEACE. “…God will generously provide all you need (peace). Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left
over to share with
others…” (2 Corinthians 9:8
NLT). “…Everything [the believer] … has come from … [God], and
[they] … give [God] … only what [he] … first gave … [them]!
…” (1 Chronicles 29:14 NLT). “… seek peace and pursue it…”
(Psalms 34:14 NIV). “…Blessed are the peacemakers…”
(Matthew 5:9 NIV). “…If
it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone…”
(Romans 12:18 NIV).
The indwelling Spirit supplies
more than ENOUGH PEACE for the believer. “…God will
supply all [the PEACE you need]…” (Philippians 4:19 NASB) “…God will
generously provide all you need
(peace).
…” (2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT).
The believer, however, has the
CHOICE to trust in God’s indwelling PEACE or RELY on themselves. “…choose
life…”
(Deuteronomy 30:19). “…Jesus
saith unto him, I am
the way, the truth, and the life …”
(John 14 6 KJV).
There
is a difference between letting God’s PEACE rule and rejecting that PEACE. “…let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your
hearts … you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful…”
(Colossians 3:15 NLT).
God GAVE his disciples
SUPERNATURAL PEACE. “… “in” me you may have peace…”
(John 16:33 NIV). “…My
peace I give to you
…” (John 14:27 NASB).
PEACE is a FRUIT of the
Spirit. “…The fruit of the Spirit is … peace, …”
(Galatians 5:22-23 KJV). If you CHOOSE to allow the indwelling Spirit to RULE
it will bear the fruit of PEACE. “…letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace…”
(Romans 8:6 NLT). “…Ye shall know them
by their fruits…” (Matthew 7:16 KJV).
peace IS FROM GOD.
“…God
himself, the God of
peace
…” (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 NIV).

of Peace…”
(Isaiah 9: 6 NIV).
GOD’s peace comes FIRST.
“… “…WE LOVE, because he first
loved us” (1 John 4:19 ASV). “…We
give [God]..only what [he]…first gave us! …” (1 Chronicles 29:14 NLT). “…My
peace I give to you…”
(John 14:27 NASB).
GOD shares his peace through his
“indwelling” presence in the relationship. peace is one of the qualities he
uses to connect, relate, or attach to the believer with. “…The
fruit of the (indwelling) Spirit
is … peace …”
(Galatians 5:22-23 KJV). “…GOD IS SPIRIT…”
(John 4:24 KJV). “…The
Spirit of God dwell[s] … in you…” (Romans 8:9 KJV). “…The Lord is that
Spirit … [too]…” (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV). “… God which
worketh IN YOU both to will and to do…” (Philippians 2:13 KJV). “…My peace I give to you…”
(John 14:27 NASB).
GOD IMPARTS peace. “…God has sent
forth the Spirit of His Son “INTO” [YOUR HEART]…”
(Galatians 4:6 NASB). “…GOD IS SPIRIT…”
(John 4:24 KJV). “…The fruit of the Spirit is peace…”
(Galatians 5:22-23 KJV). “…The Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL [PEACE]…”
(John 3:6 NLT).
“…It is the SPIRIT who gives [PEACE]…” (John
6:63 NASB).
GOD EMPOWERS peace.
“…That great Shepherd of the
sheep, EQUIP (empower) you with
everything good [the Spirit of Peace]… for doing his
will, and may he work in us
(his indwelling PEACE) what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ…”
(Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “…God is SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV). “…It is
God which worketh IN YOU
both to
will (be empowered) and to do
(experience peace) …”
(Philippians 2:13 KJV).
God supplies peace. “…God shall supply ALL YOUR NEED according
to his riches in glory BY Christ Jesus…” (Philippians 4:19
KJV). “….The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. ….” (PSALM 23:1-3 NLT). “…God will generously
PROVIDE all … [the PEACE] … you
need…” (2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT).
GOD’S peace NEVER CHANGES OR FAILS.
“…be content (peaceful) with what you
have, because God has said “Never will I leave you; never
will I forsake you…”
(Hebrews 13:5 NIV). “…I have learned to be
content (peaceful) whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be
in need, and I know what it is to have plenty…” (Philippians
4:11-12). “… I have learned the
secret of being content (peaceful) in any and every
situation,
whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want…”
(Philippians 4:11-12 NIV). “…Jesus Christ is the same
yesterday and today and forever”
(Hebrews 13:8 NIV). “…I am the Lord, I
change NOT…”
(Malachi 3:6 KJV). “…I can do all things (be peaceful) through Christ which

GOD’S peace CAN’T BE SEPARATED FROM YOU, EVEN IF YOU
SEPARATE FROM HIM. “…Keep the unity of the
Spirit through the bond of peace…”
(Ephesians 4:3 NIV). “…I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, to the very end…"(Matthew 28:20 NIV). “…I “IN”
YOU…” (John 15:4 KJV). “…he remains faithful…” (2
Timothy 2:13 NLT). “…He himself is our peace…” (Ephesians 2:14
NIV).
GOD’S peace LASTS FOREVER. “…For
to us a child is born, to us a son is given … And he
will be called … Prince of Peace ... Of
the greatness of his … peace there will be no end…” (Isaiah 9:6-7 NIV).
GOD’S peace IS SO POWERFUL IT IS A “SIGN” THAT YOU
ARE HIS DISCIPLES. “…Now may the Lord of peace himself
give you peace
at
all times and in every way.
The Lord be with all of you…” (2
Thessalonians 3:16 NIV). “…The fruit of the Spirit is peace…”
(Galatians 5:22-23 KJV). “…Ye shall
know them by their fruits…” (Matthew 7:16 KJV). Therefore, "… bear much fruit, and …
PROVE to be … [God’s] … disciples” (John 15:8 NIV).
GOD’S peace is a fruitful side effect of the ingested
holy spirit. “…The fruit of the Spirit is peace…”
(Galatians 5:22-23 KJV). “…Peace be within you…”
(Psalms 122:8 NIV).
God’s peace is understood or experienced by faith. “… BY FAITH we UNDERSTAND (experience)
…that what we
now see did not come from anything that can be seen…” (Hebrews
11 NLT). “…The fruit of the (invisible) Spirit is peace…” (Galatians 5:22-23
KJV). “…The invisible [Spirit]…from the
creation of the world is …clearly seen, being understood by the things that are MADE …” (Romans 1:20 KJV). “… All

GOD”S peace IS EXPERIENCED BY
TRUST. “…Trust
in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto
thine own understanding. In all thy ways
acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”
(Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV). “…The LORD will accomplish (take care of)…that which concerns [you]…”
(John 14:31 NASB). “…The steps of a good man are ordered (directed) by the Lord: …” (Psalms 37:23 KJV).
God’s peace is manifested through
surrender. “…Submit to God, and you will have peace...” (Job 22:21 NLT). “…
I came down from
heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that
sent me” (John 6:38 KJV). “….the
Son of Man came
not to be served but to serve others …" (Matthew 20:28). “…I must be about my Father's
business?” (Luke 2:49 KJV). “…I desire to do your
will, my God…” (Psalms 40:8 KJV). “…I
have come to do your will, my God…'" (Hebrews 10:7, 9 KJV). “…I do
nothing of myself…”
(John 8:28 KJV). “…the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works…”
(John 14:10 KJV). “…Don’t
believe me unless I carry out my Father’s work…”
(John 10:37 NLT). Surrender your all and “…present your bodies a
living sacrifice…” (Romans 12:1 KJV). “…Submit therefore to God…”

GOD’S peace IS OFTEN “NOT” BELIEVED.
“…Take heed, brethren, lest there be in
any one of you an evil heart of unbelief,
in departing from the living God”
(Hebrews 3:12 KJV). “…See
to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you
has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living
God…” (Hebrews 3:12 NIV). The Centurion
said to Jesus “…I DO believe; HELP me overcome my unbelief!”
(Mark 9:24 NIV). “..Let us therefore come
boldly unto the throne of GRACE, that we may obtain mercy, and find GRACE to help in
time of need…” (Hebrews 4:16 KJV). “…Peace I leave with you; My
peace I give to you …
Do not let your heart be troubled…”
(John 14:27 NASB). “…You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”

GOD’S peace IS RECEIVED NOT doubted, misunderstood,
OR CONTROLLed BY MAN’S Lack of KNOWLEDGE. “…peace,
FROM God
our Father, and FROM the Lord Jesus
Christ…” (1 Corinthians 1:3 KJV). “…My
peace I give to you …”

with meekness the engrafted word …”

NOT DOUBT in their heart but believes … it

God ‘s peace is with you.

God’s peace is forever. “…he will

God supplies you with enough peace for yourself and to
share with others. “…God shall supply ALL YOUR NEED …” (Philippians

God’s peace is displayed as spiritual fruit in your
life and others can see it. “…Ye shall know them by their fruits…” (Matthew
7:16 KJV). “…The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace…”
(Galatians 5:22-23 KJV). . “…every good tree bringeth
forth good fruit...”
(Matthew 7:16-22 KJV).
If you do NOT have the
indwelling Spirit, you are NOT one of God’s children and the fruit of PEACE
will be absent. “…And
remember that those who do not
have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at
all…”
(Romans 8:8-11 NLT). “…Apart from Me you can do nothing…” (John
15:4-6 NASB).
The wicked will NOT have the
PEACE of God’s presence. “…There
is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked…”
(Isaiah 48:22 NIV).
God’s PEACE is HIS presence.

(John 16:33 NIV). When the believer exemplifies indwelling PEACE
it indicates he or she is connecting, relating, or attaching to the covenant
relationship with God. “…you
will experience God’s peace ... His peace
will guard your hearts and
minds as you live in Christ Jesus…”
