ALL THINGS CAME AND WILL COME INTO EXISTENCE THIS WAY.....

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

ALL THINGS CAME AND COME INTO EXISTENCE THROUGH THE LIVING WORD OF GOD

“…BY THE WORD of the Lord All things came into being … and apart from [the WORD] nothing came into being that has come into being … ” (Psalms 33:6 NASB & John 1:1-4 NASB).

*

“…BY THE WORD OF THE LORD…. ALL THINGS CAME INTO BEING…” (Psalms 33:6 & John 1:3 NASB). ALL things were made by God. “ALL” things include “ANY” and “EVERY” thing created, made, bought into existence, or is alive. That means “ANY” and “ALL” creatures, animate or inanimate objects, situations, circumstances, people, or persons came into existence through the WORD of GOD.

BY THE WORD OF GOD everything was made or came into existence. The CREATION language continues to SPEAK and MANIFEST God, the Creator, through the WORKS, “done” BY his HOLY SPIRIT.

However, the WORKS “DONE” BY HIS HOLY SPIRIT “only” DOES the creative WORKS when it HEARS the instructions from the WORD of GOD.

Like in CREATION, the WORKS DONE BY HIS Holy Spirit in redemption, healings, signs, wonders, restoration, guidance, or miracles, come into BEING or EXISTENCE through THE WORD OF GOD. “…All things came [OR COME] into being through [the WORD]… (John 1:1-4 NASB). “…THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE WAS FORMED at God’s [WORD]…” (Hebrews 11 NLT). “…BY THE WORD of the Lord the heavens were made…” (Psalms 33:6 NASB).

BY THE WORD OF GOD “all things” come into being or existence and convey to God’s people that, through HIM, nothing is too hard or impossible. “…I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27 KJV). “…The things which are impossible with men are possible with God…” (Luke 18:27 KJV).

The WORD of GOD is the MAKER and CREATOR of all things. “…BY THE WORD of the Lord All things came [or come] into being …” (Psalms 33:6 NASB & John 1:1-4 NASB).

ALL THINGS are MADE and CREATED by the WORD of GOD AND is PROOF that the CREATION language is STILL active! “…apart from [the WORD] nothing came [or comes] into being that has come [or will come] into being …” (Psalms 33:6 NASB & John 1:1-4 NASB). “… HE Himself GIVES to all people LIFE and BREATH and all things…” (Acts 17:25 NASB).

The CREATION language is STILL spoken BY the things that are MADE and CREATED. “…The heavens (and all things that are made or created) are telling of his glory ….” (Psalms 19:1 NLT). “… Day unto day [they] uttereth speech…” (Psalms 19:2-3 KJV).

The things that are MADE and CREATED “still” come from what can “NOT” be SEEN. “the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are CLEARLY SEEN…” (Romans 1:20 KJV). “…what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.(Hebrews 11 NLT).

THREE IMPORTANT POINTS:

1.) The WORD of GOD is the source and origin in which ALL THINGS come into BEING or EXISTENCE. “…BY THE WORD of the Lord All things came [or come] into being …” (Psalms 33:6 NASB & John 1:1-4 NASB).

2.) APART from the WORD of GOD “NOTHING” came or comes into being or existence. “…apart from [the WORD] nothing came [or comes] into being that has come [or will come] into being …” (Psalms 33:6 NASB & John 1:1-4 NASB). “….Apart from [Jesus, the WORD], you can do nothing…” (John 15:5 NIV).

3.) The WORD of GOD is a creative language, which powerfully SPEAKS ALL THINGS into existence.  ALL THINGS which are MADE or CREATED are DONE by God’s Holy Spirit and they are CLEARLY “SEEN.” “the invisible things of him (God is SPIRIT) from the creation of the world are CLEARLY SEEN…” (Romans 1:20 KJV). “… being UNDERSTOOD FROM WHAT HAS BEEN MADE…” (Romans 1:20 NIV).

The WORD of GOD is “NOT” the human languages, the human translations, the human versions, nor is it limited to the human cultures. “….the gospel of Christ (or WORD of GOD)…. is the power of God …” (Romans 1:16 KJV).

The WORD of GOD is the POWER of God and the HOLY SPIRIT is the SOURCE of that POWER. “…God is Spirit …” (John 4:24 KJV). “…the … HOLY SPIRIT … is the source of [the WORD’s POWER]. …” (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “…The things which are impossible with men … [are] POSSIBLE [with God] …” (Luke 18:27 KJV).   “…Is there any thing too hard for [the God of all flesh?]…” (Jeremiah 32:27 KJV).

The WORD of GOD is also Spirit and God is also the source of “that” Spirit. “…God is Spirit …” (John 4:24 KJV). “…the … HOLY SPIRIT … is the source of [the WORD]. …” (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “…THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK unto you, they ARE SPIRIT…” (John 6:63 KJV). “…the Word was with God… [and] was god… (John 1:1-4 NASB).

Thus HOLY Spirit is the WORD’S SOURCE of POWER. “…God is Spirit …” (John 4:24 KJV). “…the … HOLY SPIRIT … is the source of [the WORD’s POWER]. …” (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).

“…It is the … HOLY SPIRIT who is the source of [the WORD’s POWER] …” (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).

“…THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK unto you, they ARE SPIRIT…” (John 6:63 KJV). “…God is Spirit …” (John 4:24 KJV). “…the Word … was god… (John 1:1-4 NASB).

God has ALWAYS found a way to speak to mankind. He spoke through creation, through the prophets, and now he speaks through the inspired Scripture, and through Jesus Christ, the living WORD.

God CREATED or MADE  Jesus as a another WAY to speak directly to his PEOPLE. “…the Word (God’s WORD) was made FLESH (made into human form or created into an earthen vessel) ...” (JOHN 1:14 KJV). “… He (Jesus, the human vessel) had a name written, that no man knew … his name is called The Word of God…” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB).

Jesus “IS” “The WORD of god.” (Revelation 19:12-13 KJV).  “…The only begotten (specially created) Son (Jesus, is the WORD) …” (John 1:18 KJV).

Jesus was a special creation DONE by the WORKS of the HOLY SPIRIT. “… Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God…” (John 1:13 KJV). “…The Holy Spirit shall come upon you (Mary, mother of Jesus), and the power of God shall overshadow you; so the baby born to you will be utterly holythe Son of God…” (Luke 1:35 NLT).

“…The only begotten (specially created) Son (Jesus, the WORD), of the Father, he hath declared (explained, revealed, or communicated for) him…” (John 1:18 KJV).

God initiates the communication between himself and mankind. In the Old Testament God used things in creation or the prophets to SPEAK for him. He used burning bushes, Moses, a pillar of cloud, Ezekiel, a pillar of fire, King David, smoke, donkeys, angels, etc.

In the New Testament God used creation to SPEAK for him too; that creation was JESUS CHRIST.

Jesus, the WORD, was a specially created, earthen vessel, who was a mouthpiece for communicating a MESSAGE directly from GOD’S HEART (bosom). “…No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom (heart) of the Father, he hath declared him…” (John 1:18 KJV).  “…the Word was “with” god… (John 1:1-4 NASB). “…No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us…” (John 1:18 NLT). “…the Word … was god… (John 1:1-4 NASB).

Jesus was “MADE” into a special created, earthen vessel to HOUSE the WORD OF GOD. “….Thus, the WORD was made flesh….” (John 1:14 KJV).

Since mankind MOSTLY looks on the outside or the appearance of things and people, they can’t often SEE the miracle of the WORD of GOD coming into the WORLD through Jesus, God’s mouthpiece. “…He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not…” (John 1:10-12 KJV). “…BY THE WORD of the Lord the heavens were made…” (Psalms 33:6 NASB).

Mankind still FAILS to SEE the WORD OF GOD in its PROPER CONTEXT. “...God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, …” (1 Samuel 16:7 NASB).

Jesus had the ROLE of earthen vessel and the Holy Spirit had the ROLE of indwelling Spirit; yet they were ONE unit. “… I and my Father are ONE…” (John 10:30 KJV).

Together they were THE WORD OF GOD!

An earthen vessel willfully chooses to become God’s servant. “…[Jesus came]…NOT … to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many...” (Matthew 20:28 KJV).

An earthen vessel willfully chooses to do God’s will and not their own.  Father, not My will, but Yours be done…" (Luke 22:42-43 NIV).

An earthen vessel willfully chooses to be obedience or follow God’s instructions for their life. “… [Jesus]…humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross…” (Philippians 2:8 KJV).

An earthen vessel willfully chooses to give their bodies as a living sacrifice to God’s purpose. present your bodies a living sacrifice …” (Romans 12:1 KJV).

The Holy Spirit EMPOWERS, INDWELLS, and ANOINTS the earthen vessel. What did the Holy Spirit DO “in” and “through” Jesus? The Holy Spirit empowered, indwelled, and anointed him to DO God’s will as the Word of God. “…The Spirit of the Lord [was] upon [him[, because he hath anointed [him] to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent [him] to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord” (John 4:16-21 KJV). “…God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and WITH POWER: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for GOD WAS WITH HIM…” (Acts 10:38-39 KJV).

Did Jesus, the earthen vessel do the WORKS, or did the Holy Spirit within Jesus, the earthen vessel, do the WORKS? “…[Jesus said]the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV).  “…God publicly endorsed Jesus the Nazarene by doing powerful miracles, wonders, and signs through him, as you well know. …” (ACTS 2:22 KJV).

The CREATION tells of the Glory of God in the Old Testament. Jesus tells of the Glory of God in the New Testament. HOW? “…The Son is the RADIANCE of God’s glory and the EXACT representation of his being…” (Hebrews 1:3 KJV). Jesus saith unto him, Have I (the WORD of GOD) been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath SEEN ME (the WORD) HATH SEEN the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?” (John 14:9 KJV). “… I (the WORD) and my Father are ONE…” (John 10:30 KJV). “…THERE ARE THREE that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy [Spirit]: and THESE THREE ARE ONE.…” (1 John 5:6-8 KJV).

“….the WORD was made flesh….” (John 1:14 KJV). Jesus was the WORD of GOD in human form or in an earthen vessel.

Through, Jesus, you witness the POWER of the WORD of GOD in action. “…God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and WITH POWER…” (Acts 10:38-39 KJV).

Jesus was a living demonstration of the WORKS of the HOLY Spirit, when ACTIVATED by the WORD.“…The Spirit of the Lord  anointed [him] to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent [him] to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord” (John 4:16-21 KJV). “…[Jesus] went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for GOD WAS WITH HIM…” (Acts 10:38-39 KJV).

The credibility of Jesus, as the WORD of GOD, was solely dependent upon the WORKS “DONE” by the Holy Spirit, which was the SOURCE of Jesus, the Living Word’s POWER.

Jesus, also named the WORD of GOD, gives CREDENCE to the calling upon his life and his purpose. “… He (Jesus) had a name written, that no man knew … his name is called The Word of God…” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB).

The VOICE of God is heard in Jesus’ every WORD.  When Jesus (the Word of God) PREACHED, his WORDS had the POWER to SAVE. “… [The] Good News about Christ (or the WORD of GOD)… is the power of God at work (miraculously), saving everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16 NLT). “…BY THE WORD of the Lord [you are SAVED]…” (Psalms 33:6 NASB).

“…All things came into being (including SALVATION) through Him (the WORD of GOD), and apart from [the WORD] nothing came into being that has come into being … (John 1:1-4 NASB).

Jesus, The WORD of GOD, has the POWER to HEAL THE BROKENHEARTED, SET THE CAPTIVES FREE, RETURN SIGHT TO THE BLIND, FREE PEOPLE FROM THE BONDAGE OF SIN, DELIVER DEMONIACS, AND DO GOOD. “…The Spirit of the Lord … anointed [him] to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent [him] to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord” (John 4:16-21 KJV). “…[AND HE]…went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for GOD WAS WITH HIM…” (Acts 10:38-39 KJV).

“…All things [COME] into being through Him (the WORD of GOD), and apart from [the WORD] nothing [COMES] into being that [WILL] come into being … (John 1:1-4 NASB).

ONE LAST THOUGHT: In Ezekiel 37 how did the BONES “come back” to LIFE? IN Ezekiel 37 you can CLEARLY “SEE” how GOD COMMUNICATES, his WORD, it is SPOKEN, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT DOES the WORK. “…Prophesy (God gives instructions to the prophet about the dry bones)… and [tells him to] say to them. This is what the Sovereign Lord says…” (Ezekiel 37 NIV).

It doesn’t matter the MOUTHPIECE that is USED to SPEAK God’s WORD.  “ALL THINGS” come into BEING or EXISTENCE whenever the WORD OF GOD is SPOKEN.

Whoever is speaking the Word of God, as instructed, can EMPOWER or ACTIVATE the HOLY SPIRIT to do God’s work.

This is what God instructed Ezekiel to SPEAK and Ezekiel SPOKE God’s WORD as he was instructed:  “ …‘My people …I will PUT my SPIRIT in you and you will LIVE …Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord...’” (Ezekiel 37 NIV).

“…As [Ezekiel]… was prophesying (SPEAKING GOD’S WORD as God instructed him to do), there was a noise (The Holy Spirit started making, creating, or bringing  into existence), a rattling sound, and THE BONES CAME TOGETHER, BONE TO BONE. [Ezekiel]… LOOKED, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them [then]… BREATH ENTERED THEM; they came to LIFE and STOOD UP on their feet—a vast army I HAVE DONE IT, declares the Lord…’” (Ezekiel 37 NIV).

BY THE WORD OF GOD ALL THINGS COME INTO BEING OR EXISTENCE THROUGH THE POWERFUL WORKS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. “…I HAVE DONE IT, declares the Lord…’” (Ezekiel 37 NIV). “…the Father (the INSTRUCTOR) that dwelleth in me (Jesus, the WORD), he doeth the works (the Holy Spirit doeth the works) …” (John 14:10 KJV). The FATHER’s WORD is” POWER and they are ONE. “…THERE ARE THREE that bear record in heaven, the Father (GOD), the Word (JESUS), and the Holy Ghost (POWER): and THESE THREE ARE ONE.…” (1 JOHN 5:6-8 KJV).

The POWER of GOD’s WORD is CLEARLY SEEN in EZEKIEL.  “…Since the creation of the world God’s …[POWER]… have been CLEARLY SEEN, being UNDERSTOOD FROM WHAT HAS BEEN MADE …” (Romans 1:20 NIV). “… [THE BONES] …came to LIFE’” (Ezekiel 37 NIV). “ … BREATH ENTERED THEM; they … STOOD UP on their feet—a vast army... I HAVE DONE IT, declares the Lord…’” (Ezekiel 37 NIV).

AGAIN, “…  THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE WAS FORMED at God’s command (God’s WORD) … what we now SEE (ALL EXISTENCE) did not come from anything that can be SEEN (the WORK of the INVISIBLE Holy Spirit)…(Hebrews 11:3 NLT). “…BY THE WORD  (God’s WORD) of the Lord (his word spoken by jesus) the heavens were made (the Holy Spirit DID THE WORK), And by the breath of His mouth all their host…” (Psalms 33:6 NASB).

“…All things [COME] into being through Him (the WORD of GOD), and apart from [the WORD] nothing [COMES] into being that [WILL] come into being … (John 1:1-4 NASB).

God has GIVEN his people a LIVING WORD. The LIVING WORD creates, makes, brings things into existence, and is powerfully ACTIVE.

The LIVING Word has a POWER that is inherent. Thus, it is the HOLY SPIRIT that does the WORK it is commanded to DO

The LIVING Word also has the inherent POWER to supernaturally transform ALL THINGS; including you, others, situations, circumstances, and the life all around you.

The LIVING Word SAVES.

The LIVING Word indwells within the believer.

The LIVING Word produces.

The LIVING Word empowers.

The LIVING Word works “in” and “through” God’s people.

The LIVING Word does EXACTLY what God says it will do.

The LIVING Word SPEAKS.

The LIVING Word, when spoken, ACTIVATES the WORK of the Holy Spirit.

The LIVING Word ACTIVATES the Holy Spirit and reveals God’s glory through our situations and circumstances.

The LIVING Word empowers Spiritual LIFE, enables FAITH, FREES from sin, SANCTIFIES, JUSTIFIES, and INDWELLS.

The LIVING Word DRAWS sinners to repentance, SAVES them, and makes them into new CREATIONS.

The LIVING Word is STILL alive! You have NOT truly entered into a dialogue or conversation with God until you personally SEE, EXPERIENCE, and truly PAY ATTENTION to its POWERFUL reward upon your LIFE. “…We have … confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets. You must pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a lamp shining in a dark place ” (2 Peter 1:19 KJV).

“…The [word] of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether. They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them Your servant is warned. In keeping them there is great reward …” (Psalm 19:7-11 NASB).

IF YOU WANT TO SEE CHANGES IN YOUR LIFE AND THE LIFE AROUND YOU; REMEMBER: “…All things [COME] into being through Him (the WORD of GOD), and apart from [the WORD] nothing [COMES] into being that [WILL] come into being … (John 1:1-4 NASB).

“…BY THE WORD (God’s WORD) of the Lord the heavens were made (the Holy Spirit DID THE WORK),..” (Psalms 33:6 NASB).

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: WHAT WILL HAPPEN “BY THE WORD OF GOD” IN YOUR LIFE?

Godspeed,

Dr. Pensacola
