THE WORD OF GOD IS SPIRIT (PART 2)
“..I am (the WORD) in the
Father (God, the HOLY SPIRIT), and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV).

I believe in (depend
upon) the authentic and reliable SPIRIT inherent in the WORD OF God. I have
faith in (depend upon) the SPIRIT of its sustainable message of truth, not
simply by second hand knowledge, but because it has personally transformed my
life.
The sustaining SPIRIT
of the Gospel message has inspired me, helped me understand life, directed me,
revealed God to me, and answered
many of my questions about life. “…The Son is ….sustaining all things by his powerful WORD…” (Hebrews 1:3 NIV).
The inspired gospel
message informs me about God’s love for me, helps me love others, and gives me
a purpose for living. The inspired gospel message drew me to salvation, a
relationship with God, and gave me eternal life.
The inspired gospel
message has proven to be a sustainable love letter from God, a revelation of
his very being, and the evidence of his presence.
The inspired gospel
message has been a reliable way to hear God SPEAK. “…The law of the LORD
is perfect, restoring the soul; The
testimony of the LORD is sure, making
wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the
LORD is clean, enduring forever; The
judgments of the LORD are true; they are
righteous altogether. They are more
desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb.
Moreover, by them Your servant is warned.
In keeping them
there is great reward …” (Psalm 19:7-11 NASB).
“All scripture is
given by INSPIRATION of God,
and is PROFITABLE for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…” (2 Timothy 3:16
KJV). “…For the prophecy
came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God SPAKE as they were
MOVED BY THE
HOLY GHOST…” (2 Peter 1:21 KJV).
The gospel message was
INSPIRED by the HOLY SPIRIT. The INSPIRATION of the Holy Spirit means
mouthpieces spoke ONLY when “moved” to do so.
These mouthpieces were
human vessels CHOSEN of God. “…I chose YOU....” (John 15:16 ASV). “…You are a chosen people…” (1 Peter 2:9 NIV).
They served as the mouthpieces for the
inspired Word of God to be heard, read, and spoken. God,
the HOLY SPIRIT, spoke through them. “…I do nothing of myself…” (John 8:28 KJV). “…the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV). “…He helps me…”
(Psalms 28:7 NLT).
Every single AUTHENTIC mouthpiece can trace
their PURPOSE to the SOURCE, which is the Holy Spirit that CREATED them to
SPEAK. “…The …HOLY SPIRIT …is
the SOURCE of [a mouthpiece’s PURPOSE]. …it is
…God who does the work (speaking) IN and
THROUGH [his mouthpieces]. The HOLY SPIRIT DISPLAYS God’s power THROUGH
each [mouthpiece] … (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).

“…That great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work “IN US” what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen…”
(Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “…The …HOLY SPIRIT …is
the SOURCE of [Power inherent “IN” his WORD]. …it is …God who does the work (speaking) IN and THROUGH all
of us who are his. The HOLY SPIRIT DISPLAYS God’s power (supernatural WORKS,
ACTIONS, and PERFORMANCES) THROUGH each of [his mouthpieces] …
(1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).

(John 5:30 KJV). “…the Son can do nothing
of himself ...” John 5:19 KJV).
“… Jesus
of Nazareth, a man approved of God among
you by miracles and wonders and signs, which
God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know…” (ACTS 2:22
KJV).
The MOVING of the Holy
Spirit, upon mouthpieces, is an example of the ANOINTING. “…GOD ANOINTED JESUS OF NAZARETH WITH THE HOLY GHOST and
with power: [and he]… went about doing
good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him…”
(Acts 10:36-38 KJV).
Based on scripture
God’s work CANNOT be done without it. Even Jesus had to be anointed to do God’s
work. “…GOD ANOINTED JESUS OF NAZARETH WITH THE HOLY
GHOST and with power:
…” (Acts 10:36-38 KJV). “…It is God which
worketh IN YOU…”
(Philippians 2:13 KJV). “….apart from Me (ANOINTING), you can DO NOTHING…” (John 15:5 NIV).
Human strength is not
enough to do God’s work. “….Don't put your confidence in … people (including self); there is NO HELP
for you there….” (Psalms 146: 3 NLT). “….apart
from Me (the indwelling Holy Spirit (anointing), you can DO NOTHING…” (John 15:5 NIV).
The
INDWELLING of the Holy Spirit IS the
anointing and the power that makes you a co-laborer in the work of God on
earth. “…it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose…” (Philippians
2:13 NIV).
However, “… [It is]…God who makes both us and you
stand firm in Christ. HE ANOINTED US…” (2
Corinthians 1:21 NIV). “…YOU HAVE AN
ANOINTING from the Holy One…" (1 John 2:20
NASB).
The ANOINTING works in you. “…it is God
who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose…”
(Philippians 2:13 NIV).
The ANOINTING works in
you through Jesus (the anointing) “…May …God …equip you with everything
good for doing his will, and may he work IN
US what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ…”
(Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV).
Mouthpieces had and
have an important purpose. The MOVING of the Holy Spirit or the ANOINTING is the
source of POWER for the task of SPEAKING God’s WORD. “…Now God
GIVES US many kinds of special abilities, but it is the … HOLY SPIRIT who
is the source of them all. There are different kinds of service to
God, but it is
the same Lord we are serving. There are many ways in which God works
in our lives, but it is the same God who does the work IN and THROUGH all of
us who are his.
The HOLY SPIRIT (the
anointing) DISPLAYS God’s power THROUGH each of us as a means of HELPING the
entire church.
To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; someone else
may be especially good at studying and teaching, and this is his gift from the same Spirit.
He
gives special faith to another, and to someone else the power to heal the sick.
He gives power for doing miracles to some, and to others power to prophesy and
preach. He gives someone else the power to know whether evil spirits are
speaking through those who claim to be giving God’s messages—or whether it is
really the Spirit of God who is speaking.
Still
another person is able to speak in languages he never learned; and others, who
do not know the language either, are given power to understand what he is
saying. It is
the same and only Holy Spirit who gives all these gifts and powers, deciding which each one of us should have…
(1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).
The main purpose of the
ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit is to MOVE the MOUTHPIECES to SPEAK God’s WORDS
and serve HIS purposes. “… [HE ANOINTED US…”
(2 Corinthians 1:21 NIV). “…YOU HAVE
AN ANOINTING from the Holy
One" (1 John 2:20 NASB). “…Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it
abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you
abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in
him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing…” (John 15:4-6 NASB).
Apart from God, the human MOUTHPIECE
could NOT SPEAK God’s WORD that is SPIRIT. “…THE WORDS …
they ARE SPIRIT…” (John 6:63 KJV). “…God is Spirit …” (John
4:24 KJV).
the Word [is] God … (John 1:1-4 NASB).
Only God can equip the human MOUTHPIECE
for ministry WORKS “…May …God …equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may
he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ…”
(Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “…it is God which
worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians
2:13 KJV).
A human mouthpiece, CANNOT do God’s work without the ANOINTING. “…YOU HAVE
AN ANOINTING from the Holy
One" (1 John 2:20 NASB). “…Abide in Me, and I in you …apart from Me
you can do nothing…” (John 15:4-6 NASB).
God ANOINTS every SINGLE human mouthpiece,
without exception, with the indwelling
Holy Spirit. “…the Spirit of God dwell[s]… in you…” (Romans 8:9 KJV). “…the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”
(1 Corinthians 3:16 KJV). “…God hath said, I will dwell in
them…” (2 Corinthians 6:16 KJV). “…it is
God which worketh in you…”
(Philippians 2:13 KJV).
The anointing is God’s job, “NOT” man’s. The anointing is
God’s will, “NOT” man’s. The anointing serves God’s purposes “NOT”
man’s. “…Abide
in Me, and I in you …apart from Me you can do
nothing…” (John 15:4-6 NASB).
The MOVING of the Holy Spirit IS DISPLAYED
through human mouthpieces as a result of the ANOINTING. “…YOU HAVE AN ANOINTING from the Holy One" (1 John 2:20 NASB). “…For the prophecy CAME NOT in old time BY THE WILL OF MAN:
but HOLY men of God SPAKE as they
were MOVED BY
THE HOLY GHOST…” (2 Peter 1:21 KJV).
“…When THE
SPIRIT rested UPON them, they prophesied…” (Numbers 11:25 KJV). “…THE SPIRIT of the Lord will come UPON thee, and thou shalt prophesy …”
(1 Samuel 10:6 KJV). “….THE SPIRIT of God
came UPON him, and he prophesied …” (1 Samuel 10:10 KJV). “…THE SPIRIT of God
was UPON the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied….” (1 Samuel 19:20 KJV). “…THE SPIRIT of God was UPON him also, and he went on, and
prophesied…” (1 Samuel 19:23 KJV). “…HOLY men of God SPAKE as they were MOVED BY THE HOLY
GHOST…” (2 Peter 1:21 KJV).
The Holy Spirit RESTED
upon MOUTHPIECES in the Old Testament.“…When THE
SPIRIT rested UPON them, they prophesied…”
(Numbers 11:25 KJV). “…THE
SPIRIT of the Lord will come UPON thee, and thou shalt prophesy …” (1
Samuel 10:6 KJV). “….THE SPIRIT of
God came UPON him, and he prophesied …”
(1 Samuel 10:10 KJV). “…THE SPIRIT of God was UPON the
messengers of Saul, and they
also prophesied….”
(1 Samuel 19:20 KJV). “…THE SPIRIT of God was UPON him
also, and he went on, and
prophesied…” (1 Samuel 19:23 KJV).
Today, MOUTHPIECES experience the anointing through the INDWELLING Holy Spirit.
“…The Spirit of God dwell[s]… in
you…” (Romans 8:9 KJV). “…the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” (1 Corinthians
3:16 KJV). “…God hath said, I will dwell in
them…” (2 Corinthians 6:16 KJV).. “…it is God which worketh in you…” (Philippians 2:13 KJV). “IN” you; not UPON you.
Thus,
the INDWELLING Holy Spirit ANOINTS and MOVES mouthpieces to
SPEAK the WORD of God with POWER. . “…If any man be in Christ, he is a NEW creature …”
(2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “… [They]… are HIS workmanship
(new creation), created in Christ Jesus
unto good works…” (Ephesians 2:10
KJV). “…it is God which
worketh in you…”
(Philippians 2:13 KJV). “…NOT that [you]… are
ADEQUATE IN [YOURSELVES]… to consider anything as coming from [yourselves]… but
[YOUR]… ADEQUACY IS FROM GOD…” (2
Corinthians 3:5 NASB). “…Now
GOD GIVES
us many kinds of special abilities, but it is the same Holy Spirit who is the source of them

WHO “DOES” THE WORK IN AND THROUGH all of us who are his. The Holy Spirit “displays” God’s power THROUGH
each of us… It is the same and only Holy Spirit who gives
all these gifts and powers, deciding which each one of us should have…
(1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). Jesus said, “…as the Father gave me commandments, even so I do…” (John 14:31 KJV).
Mouthpieces, that
SPEAK, without depending upon the
indwelling Holy Spirit are NOT being MOVED by the ANOINTING, but the flesh.
“…the flesh profiteth nothing…” (John 6:63 KJV).
“….Don't put your confidence in … people
[OR your own human effort]… there is NO HELP for you there….” (Psalms 146:
3 NLT). “…Human effort accomplishes nothing….”
(John 6:63 NLT). “….Apart
from Me, you can do NOTHING…” (John
15:5 NIV).
It is the HOLY SPIRIT
that ANOINTS, mouthpieces, not the human flesh or effort. “… HE (the indwelling Spirit) ANOINTED US…” (2
Corinthians 1:21 NIV). “…YOU HAVE AN
ANOINTING from the
Holy One" (1 John 2:20 NASB).
Yes, you are anointed. Where is the
anointing? “…But the ANOINTING which ye have received of him abideth in you…” (1
John 2:27 KJV). “…Jesus Christ (the anointed one) is in you…”
(2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). “…Christ (the
anointing) [is]…in you …”
(Colossians 1:27 KJV). “…the Spirit of God dwell[s]… in you…” (Romans 8:9 KJV). “…the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16 KJV).
God works “IN” and “THROUGH” mouthpieces
to
display the POWER of his spoken WORD. “…it is…
GOD WHO “DOES” THE WORK IN AND THROUGH all of us who are his. The Holy Spirit “displays” God’s power THROUGH
each of us…” (1 Corinthians 12:4-11
NLT). ). “…IT IS God which worketh
in you…”
(Philippians 2:13 KJV).
Since God DISPLAYS the POWER of his Holy
Word through human vessels, their ROLE is to TRUST or DEPEND UPON the HOLY Spirit to DO the WORK. “…NOT that [you]… are ADEQUATE IN [YOURSELVES]… to consider
anything as coming from [yourselves]… but [YOUR]… ADEQUACY IS FROM GOD…” (2 Corinthians 3:5 NASB). “…GOD …
“DOES” THE WORK IN AND THROUGH all of us who are his. The Holy Spirit “displays” God’s power THROUGH each of us… … (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “ …we
have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God,
and not of us...” (2
Corinthians 4:6-7 KJV).
The ANOINTING is not witnessed as much
today, because most MOUTHPIECES are attempting to DO the work of God in their
OWN strength. The WORK of
MINISTRY is a TEAM effort. “…NOT that [you]… are
ADEQUATE IN [YOURSELVES]… to consider anything as coming from [yourselves]… but
[YOUR]… ADEQUACY IS FROM GOD…” (2
Corinthians 3:5 NASB). “…Human effort [alone]… accomplishes nothing.”
(John 6:63 NLT). “…the flesh profiteth NOTHING…”
(John 6:63 KJV). "…That which is born
of the flesh is flesh; and that
which is born of
the Spirit is spirit…” (John 3:6 KJV). “….THE WORDS that I speak unto you, they are SPIRIT,…” (John 6:63 KJV).
The
indwelling Holy Spirit is the ANOINTING. MOUTHPIECES are the human
VESSELS in which God DISPLAYS the POWER of his SPOKEN WORD through his HOLY WORKS. “…it is… GOD WHO “DOES” THE WORK IN AND
THROUGH all of us who are his. The Holy Spirit “displays” God’s power THROUGH each of us…” (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “…he
doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV).“ … The excellency of the
power may be of God,
and not of us...” (2
Corinthians 4:6-7 KJV).
Jesus demonstrated the anointing which MOVED him to DISPLAY the POWER of God’s WORKS. “…You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God “ANOINTED” HIM WITH
THE HOLY SPIRIT AND WITH POWER , and how He went about doing good and healing all
who were oppressed by the devil, for God
was with Him…” (Acts 10:38 NASB). “…The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath ANOINTED ME to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath
sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the
captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty
them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord…” (John
4:16-21 KJV).
When “…Christ [dwells] in your hearts by faith (by
your dependency upon him, the WORD) …” (Ephesians 3:17 KJV); Jesus
says, “… He that believeth on me (depends upon the WORD), the works that I
do shall [YOU] do also; and GREATER WORKS than these shall he do….” (John
14:1 KJV).
It is NOT the WORK of the human MOUTHPIECE
that is ANOINTED. It is the WORKS of the HOLY SPIRIT, within the mouthpiece, that
is ANOINTED. The anointing (the indwelling Holy Spirit, DOES or DISPLAYS the
WORKS of God through human mouthpieces. “…YOU HAVE
AN ANOINTING from the
Holy One" (1 John 2:20 NASB). “…NOT that [you]… are
ADEQUATE IN [YOURSELVES]… to consider anything as coming from [yourselves]… but
[YOUR]… ADEQUACY IS FROM GOD…” (2
Corinthians 3:5 NASB).
The ANOINTING of the indwelling Holy Spirit MOVES human mouthpieces to DISPLAY
the POWER of God by SPEAKING his WORD in order to activate God’s WORKS. “…The Holy Spirit “displays” God’s power THROUGH
each of us…” (1 Corinthians 12:4-11
NLT).
It is the ANOINTING that does the work
“IN” and “THROUGH” human MOUTHPIECES. “…it is…
GOD WHO “DOES” THE WORK IN AND THROUGH all of us
who are his. …” (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).
It is a team effort similar to a marriage
where each spouse has a different role, but work in unity. Jesus said, "I
and my Father are one." (John 10:30 KJV). “…..what he SEETH the Father doing… he
DOETH… in like manner” (John 5:19 KJV).
Mouthpieces can, however, do many
religious works in their OWN strength and miss out on depending upon the intimate
POWER of God through the indwelling Holy
Spirit. “…Many will say to me in that day, Lord,
Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
and in thy name have cast out devils? and
in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess
unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity…”
(Matthew 7:22-23 KJV).
“… if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all
mysteries and all knowledge; and
if I have all faith, so as to remove
mountains, but have not love, I AM NOTHING.
And if I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but have not love, IT PROFITETH ME NOTHING…” (1
Corinthians 13:2-3 ASV).
“…God is love…” (1 John 4:4-8 KJV). “…every one that loveth …. KNOWETH God.
He that loveth NOT KNOWETH NOT God; for God is love…” (1 John 4:4-8 KJV). “…And then will I profess unto them, I never KNEW YOU: depart from me, ye that
work iniquity…” (Matthew 7:22-23 KJV).
“…I chose YOU....” (John 15:16 ASV). Being CHOSEN to be a
MOUTHPIECE that SPEAKS God’s WORD does not originate from RELIGIOUS WORKS.
An intimate, covenant relationship with God through the INDWELLING
HOLY SPIRIT is required. “…What therefore God has joined together,
let no man
separate…” (Mark 10:9 NASB). “…Love
… is the perfect BOND of unity...” (Colossians 3:14 NASB). “…He that is JOINED unto the Lord is ONE Spirit…” (1 Corinthians 6:17 KJV). “…Let no one split apart what God has joined together…” (Mark 10:9 NLT).
“…My
son, GIVE ME
thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways…” (Proverbs
23:26 KJV). “…What? know ye not that your
body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God,
and YE ARE NOT
YOUR OWN?” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV). “…PRESENT YOUR BODIES…” (Romans 12:1 KJV). “…Whosoever will come after me, let him DENY HIMSELF,
and take up his cross, and follow me…” (Mark 8:34-35 KJV).
The MOUTHPIECE, who is CALLED to SPEAK
God’s WORD is “NOT” the WORD by themselves.
The MOUTHPIECE is ONLY the human vessel in
which God DISPLAYS his DIVINE POWER through HIS spoken WORD.
