JESUS HAD ANOTHER NAME: WHAT WAS IT?
“… He (Jesus) had a
name written, that no man knew … his name is called The Word of God…”
(Revelation 19:12-13 NASB).
*
I have learned just because you KNOW about
something doesn’t mean you KNOW something or SOMEONE. “…Many will say to me in that
day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast
out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess
unto them, I never knew you: depart
from me, ye that work iniquity…”
(Matthew 7:22-23 KJV).
Knowing ABOUT something is in the category
of second-hand knowledge. KNOWING something is the product of a first-hand witness or intimate EXPERIENCES. “…He answered and said unto them, Well hath
Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites,
as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me…”
(Mark 7:6 KJV). “…for thy heart is not right in the sight of God…” (Acts
8:21 KJV). “…Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his
eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable…”
(Hebrews 4:13 NLT).
What is the point of knowing
ANYTHING; if you don’t KNOW the ONE who is EVERYTHING! “Beloved, let us love one another:
for love is of God; and every one that loveth is begotten(specially made) of God, and knoweth
God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for
God is love” (1
John 4:7-8 ASV).
I have learned God’s WORDS are
SPIRIT. “…THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK unto you, they ARE SPIRIT…” (John
6:63 KJV). God is SPIRIT. “…God is Spirit …” (John 4:24 KJV). The “WORD” is
spirit and God is spirit; they are one
and the same. “…the Word was God … (John 1:1-4 NASB). GOD’S
IS SPIRIT, THEREFORE, HIS WORDS ARE SPIRIT. GOD’S WORD REVEALS EXACTLY“WHO” HE
IS.
I
also LEARNED the WORD became “flesh” or a human vessel. “….The Word became flesh…” (John 1:14 NASB). However,
I discovered, Jesus, the human vessel was flesh or human, but the WORDS he
spoke were Spirit. "…That which is born
of the flesh (human) is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit (of God) is Spirit…” (John
3:6 KJV). “…the flesh profiteth NOTHING…”
(John 6:63 KJV). “….THE WORDS that I speak
unto you, they are SPIRIT…”
(John 6:63 KJV).
God, the Holy
Spirit, SPEAKS “HIS” WORDS, "through" human mouthpieces. “…
[JESUS SAID]…I have not spoken
of myself;
but the Father which sent me, he gave me a [WORD], what I should say, and what I should speak…” (John 12:49 KJV).
God, the Holy Spirit, “SPEAKS,” his WORDS,
which are SPIRIT, through human vessels, yet his words are NOT human. “…God is not human “…God is Spirit” …Does
he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill…”
(Numbers 23:19 NIV & John 4:24 KJV). “…THE WORDS THAT I
SPEAK unto you, they ARE SPIRIT…” (John 6:63 KJV).
“…Not one of all the LORD's good promises … failed; every one was fulfilled”
(Joshua 21:45 NIV). “…My [WORDS, they are
SPIRIT and they]… SHALL stand, and I will do all my pleasure…”
(Isaiah 46:10 KJV).
God’s WORDS
(which are SPIRIT), have been around since the beginning of CREATION and was
SPOKEN through human MOUTHPIECES. “…THE WORDS
THAT I SPEAK unto you, they ARE SPIRIT…” (John 6:63
KJV). “…In the beginning was the Word (which is spirit),
and the Word
(which is spirit) was with God,
and the
Word (which is spirit) was God…“…God is Spirit”...” (John 1:1-4 NASB &
John 4:24 KJV).
“…. All things came into being
through Him (The WORD, which is SPIRIT),
and apart from Him (The WORD, which is SPIRIT) nothing came into being that has
come into being … (John 1:1-4 NASB). “…
[The
Father, the Word, and the SPIRIT]…. [THESE] three agree in one [god]…” (1 John 5:8 KJV).
THE WORD OF GOD is SPIRIT. God specially created JESUS, who came
in a human vessel. He was also a human mouthpiece that SPOKE God’s WORDS, which
are SPIRIT. Jesus, himself, said, “…THE WORDS THAT I
SPEAK unto you, they ARE SPIRIT…” (John 6:63 KJV).
Jesus was born human, and born of the Holy Spirit too! "…That
which is born of the flesh (human) is flesh; and that
which is born of
the Spirit (of God) is SPIRIT…” (John 3:6 KJV). Jesus had another name. “… His name is called The Word of God…” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB).
Jesus became "exactly" WHO God, the Holy Spirit, SAID he would become "THE WORD OF GOD" and "THE ATONING SACRIFICE." God, the indwelling Holy Spirit, GAVE him the POWER to put demands upon the flesh or take authority OVER the flesh in order to BECOME what God CALLED him to BECOME!! He is OUR example!! “… His name is called The Word of God…” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB).
JESUS, THE WORD OF GOD, HAS ALL POWER. “… Jesus (the WORD of GOD) …came and SPAKE, unto them saying, “All
POWER is given unto me IN heaven and earth…” (Matthew
28:18 KJV).
JESUS, THE WORD OF GOD,
DEMONSTRATED THAT POWER! “…God anointed Jesus of Nazareth (HOW?)with the Holy Ghost (god's holy SPIRIT) and WITH POWER: (WHAT DID THE
HOLY SPIRIT & GOD’S POWER CAUSE JESUS TO DO?) [HE]... went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the
devil; for GOD[who is SPIRIT] WAS WITH HIM…” (Acts
10:38-39 KJV).
“…[GOD, who is SPIRIT]... anointed [ENDOWED him (Jesus, the
Word) with the POWER] to preach the
gospel to the poor …to heal the
brokenhearted, to preach deliverance
to the captives, and recovering of sight
to the blind, to set at liberty them
that are bruised, To preach the
acceptable year of the Lord…” (John 4:16-21 KJV).
JESUS, THE WORD OF GOD, DEMONSTRATES that GOD’S WORD has the
inherent POWER to do exceedingly GREAT WORKS. “… [HE]... went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the
devil; for (HOW?) GOD[who is SPIRIT] WAS WITH HIM…” (Acts 10:38-39 KJV). “…he doeth the
works…” (John 14:10 KJV).
JESUS, THE WORD
OF GOD, DEMONSTRATED NOTHING is too HARD for the CONFIRMING WORK, DONE, through
the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT. “… [God] is
able TO DO exceeding abundantly ABOVE all that we ask or think…” (Ephesians
3:20 KJV). “…I am the Lord, the God of
all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27 KJV). “…he doeth the
works…” (John 14:10 KJV).
JESUS, THE WORD OF GOD, demonstrated that things impossible for
humans are POSSIBLE through the CONFIRMING POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. “…The things which are impossible with men … [are] POSSIBLE [with God, who is SPIRIT] …”
(Luke 18:27 KJV). “…he doeth the
works…” (John 14:10 KJV).
“…THE WORDS … they ARE SPIRIT…”
(John 6:63 KJV). “…God is Spirit …” (John 4:24 KJV). “…The Lord
(Jesus Christ, who is the Word of God) is that Spirit…” (2
Corinthians 3:17 KJV). . “I (Jesus the Word of God) and the father
(God, who is Spirit) are one…”
(John 10:30 KJV). The “WORD” or JESUS is
spirit and God is spirit; they are one
and the same. “…the Word was God …” (John 1:1-4 NASB).
SINCE GOD IS SPIRIT, HIS
WORDS CAN “ONLY” BE SPIRIT TOO! “…THE WORDS … they ARE SPIRIT…” (John 6:63 KJV). THUS, “…God
is not human “…God is Spirit” …Does he speak and then not act? Does he
promise and not fulfill…” (Numbers 23:19 NIV & John 4:24
KJV).
Therefore,
“…You can ask for anything in my name (IN MY WORD, which is spirit), and I “will” do it...” (John 14:12-14 NLT). “…You can ask for anything in my name (the word of god, which is spirit)...” (John 14:12-14 NLT). “….You
may ask for anything you want…”
(JOHN 15:7 NASB). “…Ask and it will be given to you…”
(Matthew 7:7 NIV). “…everyone who asks receives…” (Matthew 7:8 NIV). “…And this is the confidence that we have in him (Jesus, the WORD), that, if we ask any thing according to his will (WHICH IS his word), he heareth us…” (1 John 5:14 KJV). “… [We] … Receive from him
anything we ask, because we
keep
his commands (follow his instructions) and do what
pleases him…” (1 John 3:22 NIV). “…If we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we
have what we asked of him…” (1
John 5:15 NIV).

WORD OF GOD BECAME FLESH. “….The
Word became flesh…”
(John 1:14 NASB).
EXPLAIN HOW THE WORD BECAME “FLESH” IF THE WORD IS “SPIRIT.” The
human vessel (BODY) was flesh or human, but THE WORDS JESUS SPOKE WERE SPIRIT.

which is born of
the Spirit (of God) is Spirit…” (John 3:6 KJV). “…the flesh profiteth NOTHING…” (John 6:63 KJV).

2. JESUS HAD ANOTHER
NAME, WHAT WAS IT? THE WORD OF GOD. “… His name is
called The
Word of God…” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB).
JESUS,
THE WORD OF GOD, HAD “ALL” WHAT? ALL POWER. “… Jesus (the WORD of GOD) …came and SPAKE,
unto them saying, “All POWER is given unto me IN heaven and earth…” (Matthew 28:18 KJV).
HOW
DID JESUS, THE WORD OF GOD, DEMONSTRATE THAT POWER? HE WENT AROUND DOING GOOD AND HEALING ALL WHO WERE OPPRESSED
BY THE DEVIL. “…God anointed Jesus of Nazareth (HOW?)with the Holy Ghost (god IS SPIRIT) and WITH POWER: (WHAT DID THE
HOLY SPIRIT & GOD’S POWER CAUSE JESUS TO DO?) [HE]... went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the
devil; for GOD[who is SPIRIT] WAS WITH HIM…” (Acts
10:38-39 KJV). “…[GOD, who is SPIRIT]... anointed [ENDOWED him (Jesus,
the Word) with the POWER] to preach
the gospel to the poor …to heal the
brokenhearted, to preach deliverance
to the captives, and recovering of sight
to the blind, to set at liberty them
that are bruised, To preach the
acceptable year of the Lord…” (John
4:16-21 KJV).
HOW DID GOD CONFIRM THAT JESUS WAS HIS
LIVING WORD? BY DOING POWERFUL MIRACLES “THROUGH” HIM BY
THE CONFIRMING WORK OF HIS HOLY SPIRIT. . “…God publicly endorsed (CONFIRMED) Jesus the Nazarene by doing powerful miracles, wonders, and signs THROUGH him, as you well know. …”
(ACTS 2:22 KJV). “… God confirmed the message by giving signs
and wonders and various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit whenever he chose…”
(Hebrews 2:4 NLT).“… [HE]... went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the
devil; for GOD[who is SPIRIT] WAS WITH HIM…” (Acts
10:38-39 KJV). “…he doeth the
works…” (John 14:10 KJV).
WHY
WERE THE WORDS, JESUS SPOKE, SPIRIT? BECAUSE THEY
WERE GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT’S WORDS. “…THE WORDS
… they ARE SPIRIT…”
(John 6:63 KJV). “…God is Spirit …” (John 4:24 KJV). “…The Lord
(Jesus Christ, who is the Word of God) is that Spirit…” (2
Corinthians 3:17 KJV). . “I (Jesus the Word of God) and the father
(God, who is Spirit) are one…”
(John 10:30 KJV). The “WORD” or JESUS is
spirit and God is spirit; they are one
and the same. “…the Word was God …” (John 1:1-4 NASB).
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
3. GOD IS SPIRIT AND
HIS WORDS ARE WHAT? HIS WORDS ARE SPIRIT TOO! “…THE WORDS … they ARE
SPIRIT…” (John 6:63 KJV).
THUS, “…God is not human
“…God is Spirit” …Does he speak and then not act? Does he
promise and not fulfill…” (Numbers 23:19 NIV & John 4:24
KJV).
YOU
CAN ASK ANYTHING IN JESUS’ NAME. WHAT IS ANOTHER WAY TO SAY THAT? YOU
CAN ASK ANYTHING IN “THE WORD OF GOD.”“…You can ask
for anything
in my name (IN MY
WORD, which is spirit), and I
“will” do it...” (John 14:12-14 NLT).
WHEN YOU ASK FOR ANYTHING “IN HIS WORD” WHY CAN
YOU BE CONFIDENT THAT GOD WILL HEAR YOU AND DO IT? BECAUSE WHEN YOU ASK FOR ANYTHING IN HIS WORD
HE “WILL” HEAR HIS WORD AND HE ALWAYS HEARS HIS WORD, WHICH “ALWAYS” ACTIVATES THE CONFIRMING WORKS OF HIS HOLY SPIRIT. “…And this is the confidence that we have in him
(Jesus), that, if
we ask any thing according to his will (WHICH IS his word), he heareth us…” (1 John 5:14 KJV). “… [We] … Receive from him
anything we ask, because we
keep
his commands (follow his instructions) and do what
pleases him…” (1 John 3:22 NIV). “…If we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we
have what we asked of him…” (1
John 5:15 NIV).
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
4. WHAT DID JESUS,
THE WORD OF GOD, SAY ABOUT GOD “HEARING” HIS OWN WORD? THAT HE “ALWAYS” HEARS HIS WORD. “…Jesus (the WORD of GOD) …
said, “Father (Holy
Spirit), thank you for hearing me (the WORD of God). You always hear
me (the WORD of God...”
(John 11:41-42 NLT).
WHAT DOES GOD SAY TO DO WITH ALL YOUR
HEART, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO HIS WORD? TO
TRUST IN OR DEPEND UPON HIM WITH “ALL” YOUR HEART.“…Trust in the Lord with all thine heart…”
(Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV). “… lean not unto
thine own understanding…”
(Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV). “…The Father (Holy Spirit) that
dwelleth in [you], he doeth the [confirming] works…”
(John 14:10 KJV). “…He helps me…” (Psalms 28:7 NLT).
WHY CAN YOU TRUST
GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART? BECAUSE HE WILL DO EXACTLY WHAT HIS WORD SAYS
HE WILL DO, WITHOUT FAIL. “… [His word] shall not
return unto [him]… void, but it shall accomplish that which [God, the Holy
Spirit]… please[s], and it shall prosper in the thing whereto [God,
the Holy Spirit]… sent it…” (Isaiah 55:11 KJV). “…I will do whatever
you ask in my
name (in my word), so
that the Father may be glorified (BE REVEALED THROUGH THE PRESENCE OF HIS GOODNESS THROUGH OR ) in the Son (HIS WORD)…”
(John 14:13 NIV). “…I will do whatever you ask in my name (in the Word of God)…”
(John 14:13 NIV). "… [Depend upon THE
WORD OF GOD and] …what [you]
say will happen [and]…will be done for [you]….”
(MARK 11:23 NIV).
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF YOU ASK “ANYTHING” IN HIS WORD? Whatever
you ASK “IN” the WORD of GOD “WILL” be done FOR YOU and it “WILL” bring GLORY
(REVEAL HIS PRESENCE THROUGH HIS GOODNESS) to God. “…I will do whatever you ask in my
name (IN MY WORD), so
that the Father may be glorified (revealed and confirmed) in the Son (the WORD)…”
(John 14:13 NIV).
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
THE
WORD AND GOD ARE BOTH SPIRIT
5.
HOW IS GOD’S
WORD ABLE TO DO WHAT IT SAYS IT WILL DO? GOD’S WORD HAS ALL “INHERENT”
POWER AND AUTHORITY TO DO EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS IT WILL DO. . “… Jesus
(the WORD) …SPOKE to them, saying,
“All authority has been given to Me
in heaven and on earth…” (Matthew 28:18 NASB).
HAS GOD GIVEN HIS
PEOPLE SPECIAL PERMISSION TO USE THE POWER AND AUTHORITY OF HIS WORD? YES.
“…God, who had given such authority to men…”
(Matthew 9:8 NASB). “… Jesus (THE WORD)
….gave them power and authority to cast out all demons and to heal all diseases…”
(Luke 9:1 NASB). “… I (JESUS, THE WORD) have given you authority to
tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and
nothing will injure you…” (Luke 10:19 NASB).
WHAT CAN YOU ASK GOD FOR IN HIS WORD? YOU CAN ASK FOR ANYTHING IN HIS WORD “…You can ask
for anything
in my name (in my
authority, which is my word), and I will do it...” (John 14:12-14 NLT). “….You may ask for anything you
want…” (JOHN 15:7 NASB). …Ask and it will be given to you…”
(Matthew 7:7 NIV). “…everyone who asks receives…”
(Matthew 7:8 NIV). “…I will do
whatever you ask in my name (my authority, which
is in my word),
so that the Father may be glorified (revealed and confirmed) in the Son (the
WORD)…” (John 14:13 NIV).
CAN
YOU BE CONFIDENT THAT GOD WILL HEAR WHATEVER YOU ASK IN HIS WORD?
YES, HE “ALWAYS” HEARS HIS WORD. “…And this is the confidence that we have in him (Jesus, the WORD), that, if we ask any thing according to his will (his word), he heareth us…” (1 John 5:14 KJV). “…Jesus (the WORD)…said, “Father (Holy Spirit), thank you for hearing me
(the WORD of God).
You always hear me (the
WORD of God)….” (John 11:41-42 NLT). “… [We] … Receive
from him anything we ask, because
we keep
his commands (or follow his instructions] and do what pleases him…”
(1 John 3:22 NIV). “…May he (God, the Holy Spirit)
work in us what
is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ
(the Word of God)…” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “…If we know that he hears us—whatever
we ask—we know that we have what
we asked of him…” (1 John 5:15 NIV). “…Jesus (the WORD)…said, “Father (Holy Spirit)… You always hear me
(the WORD of God)….” (John 11:41-42 NLT).
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
6. JESUS,
THE WORD OF GOD WENT ABOUT DOING GOOD AND HEALING, CAN YOU DO THE SAME THING?
YES. WE CAN DO THE SAME THING“… I tell you the truth, anyone who has
faith in me (dependence upon me; the Word of God) will do what I (Jesus, the
WORD) have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because
I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my
name,(Jesus, the WORD with inherent power and authority) so that the Son (also
the WORD OF GOD) may bring glory (revelation and confirmation of his goodness) to the Father (God,
who is SPIRIT). You may ask me for anything in my name,(the WORD, with
inherent power and authority) and I will do it...” (John 14:12-14 NIV).
HOW CAN YOU BE EMPOWERED TO DO THE SAME
THING JESUS DID? The indwelling Holy Spirit, empowers YOU to DO the SAME WORKS
Jesus DID. “…God anointed Jesus of Nazareth (HOW?)with the Holy Ghost (god IS SPIRIT) and WITH POWER: (WHAT DID THE
HOLY SPIRIT & GOD’S POWER CAUSE JESUS TO DO?) [HE]... went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the
devil; for GOD [who is SPIRIT] WAS WITH HIM…” (Acts
10:38-39 KJV).“…[GOD, who is SPIRIT]...
anointed [ENDOWED him (Jesus, the WORD) with the POWER] to preach the gospel to the poor …to heal the brokenhearted, to
preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord…” (John 4:16-21 KJV).
H
OW DO YOU ACTIVATE THE POWER AND AUTHORITY WHICH IS “IN” GOD’S
WORD? BY ASKING “…I
will do whatever you ask in my name (which is the word
of god that possesses inherent power and authority), so that the Father may be
glorified (revealed and confirmed) in the Son (the WORD)…”
(John 14:13 NIV). “…And this is the confidence that we have in him (the Word with inherent power and authority), that, if we ask any thing according to his will (also his word), he heareth us…” (1 John 5:14 KJV). “…Jesus (the WORD)…said, “Father (Holy Spirit)… You
always hear me (the WORD of God)….”
(John 11:41-42 NLT).
DOES
GOD ALWAYS “HEAR” HIS
WORD? YES. WHEN GOD HEARS HIS WORD, HOW DOES GOD DISPLAY
HIS POWER? HIS
DISPLAYS HIS POWER “IN” AND “THROUGH” HIS PEOPLE BY THE CONFIRMING WORK OF HIS
INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT. “…the Father that
dwelleth in [you], he doeth the works…”
(John 14:10 KJV). “…God who does the work IN and THROUGH all of
us who are his. The HOLY SPIRIT
DISPLAYS God’s power THROUGH each of us …… (1 Corinthians
12:4-11 NLT).
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
7. WHAT IS THE
SOURCE OF GOD’S POWER, AUTHORITY, AND DISPLAY OF HIS WORKS? GOD,
HIMSELF, THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SOURCE OF HIS “OWN” POWER AND AUTHORITY “…The …HOLY SPIRIT …is the SOURCE of [POWER, AUTHORITY,
DISPLAYS OF GOD’S POWERFUL WORKS]. … …
(1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “… Jesus of Nazareth was a man
accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among
you through him, as you yourselves know…” (Acts 2:22 NIV). “… So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of his grace by enabling them to do miraculous signs and
wonders… “ (Acts 14:3 NIV). “… [God’s people shall] serve as signs … from the Lord…”
(Isaiah 8:18 NLT). “…The HOLY SPIRIT DISPLAYS God’s power (and authority) THROUGH
each of [them] … (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). For instance, “…God
gave Paul the power to perform unusual miracles…” (Acts 19:11 NLT). “…That great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will…” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “…That great Shepherd of the sheep …work “IN
US” what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever
and ever. Amen…” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “…It is God which worketh IN YOU
both to will and to do of his
good pleasure…” (Philippians 2:13 KJV).
IS IT THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO IS SPEAKING
“THROUGH” HUMAN MOUTHPIECES? YES, THE HOLY SPIRIT, WORKS “IN” AND
“THROUGH” HUMAN MOUTHPIECES. “…All scripture (The
WORDS of God) is given by inspiration of God (MOVING of HIS HOLY SPIRIT)…” (2 Timothy
3:16 KJV).
HOW DOES GOD SPEAK THROUGH HUMAN MOUTHPIECES? GOD
INSPIRES (OR MOVES) THEM TO SPEAK BY THE POWER OF HIS HOLY SPIRIT . They “…SPAKE as they were MOVED BY THE HOLY
GHOST…” (2 Peter 1:21 KJV). “…The prophecy (WORD OF GOD) came not in old time by the will of man: but
holy men of God SPAKE as they were… MOVED BY THE HOLY [SPIRIT]…” (2 Peter 1:21
KJV). “...There
are many ways in which God works in our lives, but it is the same God who does the work in and
through all of
us who are his… … (1
Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “……the [HOLY] SPIRIT DISPLAYS God’s power THROUGH each of us … … (1
Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “…It is God which worketh IN YOU both to
will and to do of his good pleasure…”
(Philippians 2:13 KJV). “…That great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with
everything good for doing his will, and may he work “IN US” what
is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ…” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “…the Father … doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV). _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
8. God’s
WORD “IS” SPIRIT. God’s WORD is HOLY. God’s WORD is POWER. God’s WORD has
AUTHORITY. God’s WORD SAVES. God’s WORD transforms lives. God’s WORD is
TRUSTWORTHY. God’s WORD will NOT disappoint you. God’s WORD enlightens you with
revelatory knowledge of who God is. God’s WORD is NOT limited to versions,
translations, or languages. God’s WORD is ALIVE. God’s WORD is ACTIVE. WHAT WAS JESUS’
OTHER NAME? THE WORD OF GOD. “… his name (Jesus’ name) is called The Word of God…” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB).
WHEN JESUS SPOKE WAS
HIS WORDS HUMAN OR SPIRIT? THEY WERE SPIRIT. WHY
OR WHY NOT? BECAUSE GOD WAS SPEAKING "THROUGH" HIM AND GOD
IS SPIRIT. “…THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK unto
you, they ARE SPIRIT…” (John 6:63 KJV). “…God is Spirit …” (John
4:24 KJV).
The “WORD” is spirit and God is spirit; they are one and the same. “…the Word was God
… (John 1:1-4 NASB). “…God is Spirit …” (John
4:24 KJV).
WHERE DOES GOD PUT HIS SPIRIT AFTER YOU ARE SAVED?
WITHIN YOU. “…God … sent forth the
Spirit of His Son (the WORD
of God) “INTO” [Y]OUR HEARTS…” (Galatians 4:6 NASB).
DOES THAT MEAN
THE WORD of god IS IN YOU? IT MEANS THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT IS
ACTUALLY “IN” YOU AND YOU ARE “ONE” WITH GOD. “…Jesus
Christ (the Word of God) is in you…” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). “…The [Holy] Spirit of God dwell[s]
in you…” (Romans 8:9 KJV). “…GOD IS SPIRIT…”
(John 4:24 KJV). “…[the WORD] is that Spirit
[too]…” (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV). The “WORD” is spirit and God is spirit;
they are one and the same. “…the Word [is] ... God … (John 1:1-4 NASB).
WHEN GOD’S SPIRIT
IS IN YOU CAN HE WORK “IN” AND “THROUGH” YOU TO SPEAK HIS WORD? YES,
GOD, THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT, WILL DO THE SPEAKING. “…God (is Spirit & his Words; they are Spirit and HE)…
works in you to will and to
act in order to fulfill his good purpose…” (Philippians 2:13 NIV). “….Apart from Me
(Jesus, the WORD of God), you can do nothing…” (John 15:5 NIV).
WHO IS DOING THE WORK
OF SPEAKING THROUGH YOU? THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT. “…he (the indwelling Holy Spirit)
doeth the works [IN and THROUGH you]…”
(John 14:10 KJV). THE indwelling HOLY SPIRIT “… is able TO DO exceeding abundantly ABOVE all that we ask or
think…” (Ephesians 3:20 KJV).
GOD REVEALS HIMSELF TO YOU. GOD CONFIRMS HIS WORD TO YOU BY THE POWER OF THE
HOLY SPIRIT.
WHY DOES GOD DO THESE THINGS FOR? BECAUSE HE WANTS “YOU” TO
KNOW HE IS, PERSONALLY, THE LORD, “YOUR” GOD. “….Then you will know that [he is] the Lord
your God…’” (Exodus 16:12 NLT). “… [God has] done so many miracles before [you] ….” (John 12:37-40 NLT). “… [He has]
done [those miracles through HIS WORD] … so
you will know that [He is] the Lord [your god]…” (Exodus 10:1-2 NLT). “….In [the miracles he has done through HIS
WORD], [You] shalt know that [GOD IS] the Lord...” (READ Exodus 7:14-25).
“…Your rock
and Your fortress, your deliverer, Your GOD, Your rock, in whom [you can] … take refuge; Your
shield and
the horn of Your salvation, YOUR
stronghold.…" (Psalms 18:3 NASB). _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
