MADE WHOLE TO LIVE FREE!!

MAKE WHOLE TO LIVE FREE!
[YOUR] … iniquities (sin) …separated [YOU]… from God …” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). Confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and BELIEVE IN THINE HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be SAVED” (ROMANS 10:9 KJV). “…Jesus Christ maketh thee whole (SAVES, RESTORES , AND MAKES YOU WHOLE YOU AGAIN)…” (Acts 9:34 KJV).“…The GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ.” (Romans 6:23 KJV). “….Apart from [Jesus or DEPARTED from HIM, YOU can]… do nothing (you cannot be SAVED or inherit ETERNAL LIFE)…” (John 15:5 NIV).

*

“SAVED” means you are a believer or follower of Christ who has been MADE WHOLE. You have been FREED from SIN, the sinful nature, its affects, its influences, and its consequences. “…Jesus Christ maketh thee whole (RESTORES YOU AGAIN)…” (Acts 9:34 KJV). “... [You have been] made free from sin….” (Romans 6:18 KJV). “If the Son therefore shall make you free, you SHALL be free indeed” (John 8:36 KJV). “where the Spirit (Holy Spirit) of the Lord is, there is liberty (freedom)” (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV).

It also means you have recognized you are a sinner, asked God for forgiveness, and have decided to REPENT by changing your mind about sin. "…Therefore REPENT AND RETURN, “SO” that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing (restoral to wholeness) may come from the presence of the Lord (the presence of HIS indwelling Holy Spirit)…” (Acts 3:19 NASB).  Confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and BELIEVE IN THINE HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be SAVED” (ROMANS 10:9 KJV).

REPENTANCE is a very important and necessary part of being SAVED/MADE WHOLE because a change of mind, about sin, will result in a change of thinking and actions about sin too“…REPENT YE (Change your mind), AND BELIEVE the Gospel (depend upon the power of God’s Word)…” (Mark 1:15 KJV). “…REPENTANCE TOWARD GOD…” (Acts 20:21 KJV). "…Therefore REPENT AND RETURN, “SO” that your sins may be wiped away…” (Acts 3:19 NASB).

REPENTANCE is the change of MIND that LEADS to becoming SAVED/MADE WHOLE. “…REPENT ye (change your mind) therefore, and BE CONVERTED (SAVED/MADE WHOLE), that your sins may be blotted out (that you may be DELIVERED from your sins and RESTORED to wholeness again)…” (Acts 3:19 KJV).

REPENTANCE is a change of mind that LEADS to becoming SAVED/MADE WHOLE whereas UNREPENTANCE is an unchanged mind that LEADS one AWAY from becoming SAVED/MADE WHOLE.

AN UNREPENTANT mind is an unchanged mind that LEADS one toward disobedience and causes another one to REMAIN unsaved.

AN UNREPENTANT mind is an unchanged mind that does not HEED GOD’S call to GRACE or FALLS away from his GRACE.

AN UNREPENTANT mind is an unchanged mind that will not turn toward Jesus Christ (God’s WORD) or will not trust in or depend upon HIM (His WORD).

AN UNREPENTANT mind is an unchanged mind that KNOWS that he or she is a practicing sinner, but refuses to ask for God’s forgiveness; or doesn’t KNOWS that he or she is a sinner, and has no conviction of sin, thus is not aware they need to change.

AN UNREPENTANT mind is an unchanged mind that willfully and voluntarily chooses to remain the SAME. “.. But the people replied, “Don’t waste your breath. We will continue to live as we want to, stubbornly following our own evil desires” (JEREMIAH 18:12 NLT).

“SAVED” people can BE UNREPENTANT too. “…my people would not listen to me. They kept doing whatever they wanted, following the stubborn desires of their evil hearts. They went backward instead of forward” (Jeremiah 7:24 NLT).

“... Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed--without remedy...” (Proverbs 29:1 NIV).

Stiff-necked is the same as “stubborn.” Stubbornness is a product of an unrepentant MINDSET. “…my people would not listen to me...” (Jeremiah 7:24 NLT).

An unrepentant MINDSET is an unchanged mind that refuses to follow God’s HOLY instruction, guidance, or corrections. “ ... But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. He will judge everyone according to what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness. There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. But there will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do good ....” (Romans 2:5-13 NLT).

An unchanged mind results in the consequences of an unrepentant MINDSET: judgement, for instance. “... the Jews (or God’s people), who do have God’s law, will be judged by that law when they fail to obey it.  For merely listening to the [HOLY] law doesn’t make us right with God. It is obeying the [HOLY] law that makes us right in his sight...” (Romans 2:5-13 NLT).

The SAVED had to, FIRST; REPENT and have faith in or depend upon Jesus Christ for SALVATION. “…REPENT ye (change your mind) therefore, and BE CONVERTED (SAVED), that your sins may be blotted out (that you may be DELIVERED from you sins)…” (Acts 3:19 KJV).

Once the SAVED repents and is converted, they FREELY choose to abide (stay, remain) in Christ and Christ abides in them! “…abide in me, and I in you. (John 15:4 KJV). “…If a man abide NOT in me, ‘he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered…” (John 15:6 KJV).“…The branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me ... apart from Me you can do nothing…” (John 15:4-6 NASB).

From the “ONCE SAVED; ALWAYS SAVED” perspective, an unrepentant mind, which is an unchanged mind, can either be a professed believer, who was NEVER SAVED in the first place, OR a true believer, who IS SAVED, but  is living in a TEMPORARY  state of disobedience.

The PROFESSED BELIEVER only “CLAIMS” to be SAVED, but in REALITY “NEVER” accepted Jesus Christ “NEVER” had the indwelling Holy Spirit, was “NEVER” made WHOLE again, thus, was “NEVER” freed from SIN. “…If we “SAY” that we have fellowship with him, and WALK IN DARKNESS (unrepentent), WE LIE, and DO NOT THE TRUTH…” (1 John 1:6 KJV).

“…Bring forth therefore fruits (such as spiritual fruit) worthy of REPENTANCE (a true change of mind), and begin NOT to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then? He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none…” (Luke 3:8-11 KJV). “…REPENT…” (Acts 17:30 KJV).

The TRUE BELIEVER “IS” SAVED, and HAS accepted Jesus Christ, but is “said” to be TEMPORARILY LIVING in DISOBEDIENCE. However, they have “the indwelling Holy Spirit and therefore, ARE “new creations” whom God will eventually discipline and RETURN them to fellowship with other SAVED believers. “... I can hardly believe the report about the sexual immorality going on among you—something that even pagans (non-saved) don’t do. I am told that a man in your church is living in sin with his stepmother. You are so proud of yourselves, but you should be mourning in sorrow and shame. And you should remove this man from your fellowship. Even though I (Apostle Paul) am not with you in person, I am with you in the Spirit. And as though I were there, I have already passed judgment on this man in the name of the Lord Jesus. You must call a meeting of the church. I will be present with you in spirit, and so will the power of our Lord Jesus. Then you must throw this man out and hand him over to Satan so that his sinful nature will be destroyed[ and he himself will be saved on the day the Lord returns...” (1 Corinthians 5:1-5 NLT).

... You are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people. It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning (unrepentant). God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, “You must remove the evil person from among you...” (1 Corinthians 5:11-13 NLT).

“…Ye shall know them by their fruits…” (Matthew 7:16 KJV).

the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these …” (Galatians 5:20-22  NASB).

Both the “professed” believer and the “true” believer can have UNREPENTANT mindsets, which are unchanged minds. They BOTH need to hear the GOSPEL that will LEAD them BOTH to REPENTANCE (a change of mind). God “….is longsuffering to us-ward, NOT WILLING that any should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance…” (2 Peter 3:9 KJV). “…The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for YOUR SAKE. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent…” (2 Peter 3: 9 NLT).

“… The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth…” (Exodus 34:6 KJV). “…But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness…” (Psalm 86:16 NIV).

“…Don't you see how wonderfully kind …God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can't you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?” (Romans 2:4 NLT).

The UNREPENTANT mind, which is an unchanged mind, is an opponent of or REJECTS God’s TRUTH, but still NEEDS to HEAR his TRUTH through gentle LOVE and instruction, in HOPE, that they will eventually REPENT. “... Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth. Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants... (2 Timothy 2:25-25 NLT).

In the “ONCE SAVED; ALWAYS SAVED” perspective, an unrepentant mind, which is an unchanged mind, the unrepentant, professed believer, will be LOST forever in his or her sins, but the unrepentant, true believer, will “STILL” be SAVED regardless of their sins.

In the “ONCE SAVED; ALWAYS SAVED” perspective, an unrepentant mind, which is an unchanged mind, there is a BIG debate  which starts with THIS QUESTION:  WILL the UNREPENTENT “TRUE” believer “STILL” INHERIT eternal life, regardless of an earthly life of SIN, simply because they have been GUARANTED eternal security?

The bible says, “…REPENT (change your mind) …AND BELIEVE the Gospel (choose to depend upon God’s Word)…” (Mark 1:15 KJV).

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “…Therefore, since we have been justified through faith (through dependence upon God’s WORD), we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ…” (Romans 5:1 KJV). “…Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus…” (Romans 8:1 KJV).

“…For WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED…” (Romans 10:13 KJV).

The REFUTERS OF “ONCE SAVED; ALWAYS SAVED” AGREE THAT A TRUE BELIEVER IS SAVED,  BUT IF THEYARE LIVING AS A PAGAN WHERE THEY HAVE FALLEN FROM GRACE, DEPARTED FROM GOD, AND LIVING, AGAIN, LIKE  A NON-BELIEVER, THEY CAN BECOME JUST AS ETERNALLY LOST AS THE “PROFESSED” BELIEVER AND ARE “NOT” GUARANTEED TO INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE.

The SUPPORTERS of “ONCE SAVED; ALWAYS SAVED” SAY: THE UNREPENTENT, “TRUE” BELIEVER IS SAVED, BUT THEY ARE LIVING IN A “TEMPORARY” STATE OF PAGANISM (FALLEN FROM GRACE, DEPARTED FROM GOD, AND ACTING LIKE A PAGAN), BUT GOD WILLCORRECT” THEM SO THEY WILL “STILL” INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE.

LET’S LOOK AT SCRIPTURE regarding “ONCE SAVED: ALWAYS SAVED” AND you decide for YOURSELF whether you are a SUPPORTER or REFUTER of this DOCTRINE.

SUPPORTERS and REFUTERS of “ONCE SAVED; ALWAYS SAVED” often DEBATE their opinions, but I, personally, what to KNOW God’s HEART on the matter.

“... This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day...” (John 6:39-40 NASB).

This VERSE does not SAY anything about ALWAYS being SAVED, but it does reflect God’s will and heart’s desire that NONE be lost. God “….is ... NOT WILLING that any should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance…” (2 Peter 3:9 KJV).

It is God’s will and heart’s desire that NONE perish, but nonetheless, MANY will perish anyway.  Why will people perish? “…He that believeth on him is not condemned: but HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT IS CONDEMNED ALREADY, because HE HATH NOT BELIEVED in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And THIS IS THE CONDEMNATION, that light is come into the world, and MEN LOVED DARKNESS RATHER THAN LIGHT, because THEIR DEEDS WERE EVIL. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved” (John 3:18-20 KJV).

SALVATION is DELIVERANCE from sin, the sinful nature, its affects, its influences, and its consequences. “... [You have been] made free from sin….” (Romans 6:18 KJV). “If the Son therefore shall make you free, you SHALL be free indeed” (John 8:36 KJV).

Being SAVED/MADE WHOLE FREES your CHOICES and releases you from being a SLAVE to SIN. You can FREELY choose to live righteous, everyday, through faith or dependence upon the indwelling POWER of the Holy Spirit and from being TRANSFORMED by the renewing the MIND (a result of staying and abiding in and with the WORD of GOD). “... Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, If you (choose to) continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free...” (John 8:31-32 NASB).

“…the will of God (his heart’s desire), [is]…your SANCTIFICATION …” (1 Thessalonians 4:3 NASB). Therefore, “…Be transformed by the renewing of your mind….” (Romans 12:2 KJV). “be conformed to the image of his Son…” (ROMANS 8:29 KJV). “…Choose you this day whom ye will serve….” (Joshua 24:15 KJV).

“…abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine…” (John 15:4 KJV). “…If a man abide NOT in me, ‘he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned…” (John 15:6 KJV).

“…The branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing…” (John 15:4-6 NASB).

The SAVED/MADE WHOLE can FREELY choose to LIVE, in their deliverance, day by day, by depending upon the EMPOWERING work of the indwelling Holy Spirit and the Word of God. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Philippians 4:13 KJV).

“…. if any man be in Christ, he is a NEW creature: old things are passed away; behold, ALL things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). Christ liveth in [you]…” (Galatians 2:20 KJV). “….OLD THINGS (life without the indwelling Holy Spirit) are passed…” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). ... It is God (the indwelling Holy Spirit) which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13 KJV). “… the God of peace… that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in [you, through the indwelling Holy Spirit]… what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV).

Therefore, the SAVED/MADE WHOLE can FREELY choose, day by day, to “... abide (stay, continue, remain, etc.) in My (god’s) love...” (John 15:9 NASB).

To REMAIN somewhere, is a choice, which means you are NOT going to depart, but will continue to STAY right where you are. “…If a man abide NOT in me, ‘he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned…” (John 15:6 KJV). “... those branches were broken off because they didn’t believe in (depend upon Christ, the WORD), and you are there (abiding with God) because you do believe (depend upon the Word). So don’t think highly of yourself, but fear what could happen. For if God did not spare the original branches, he won’t spare you either. Notice how God is both kind and severe. He is severe toward those who disobeyed, but kind to you if you continue to trust in (depend upon) his kindness. But if you stop trusting (stop depending), you also will be cut off.  ...” (Romans 11:20-23 NLT). “...continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine...” (John 8:31-32 NASB).

The SAVED/MADE WHOLE FREELY choice to continue with, stay with, abide with, remain with, and does not depart from their place of UNITY with the indwelling Holy Spirit. They CAN FREELY continue SECURELY because, “…He [or she]… that is joined unto the Lord is ONE SPIRIT….” (1 Corinthians 6:17). “... In Him ,.. you WERE SEALED ...WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE.…” (Ephesians 1 NLT).  “... Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption...” (Ephesians 4:30 NASB). “...after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise...” (Ephesians 1:13 KJV). “... Do not quench (extinguish) the [Holy]... Spirit...” (1 Thessalonians 5:19 NASB).

The SAVED/MADE WHOLE are SEALED until the DAY of REDEMPTION and NOTHING can BREAK that SEAL that BONDS together the SOUL and the HOLY SPIRIT, except ONE THING: The WORD OF GOD. “... the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing ...to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit...” (Hebrews 4:12 NASB).

NOTHING will EVER separate you from God’s LOVE, but there is something that can SEPARATE you from his HOLY SPIRIT. WHAT IS IT? SIN can SEPARATE you from his HOLY SPIRIT. Sin is violation of God’s Holy commandments (big or small). “…ALL unrighteousness IS SIN…” (1 John 5:17 KJV).  “…ALL wicked actions ARE SIN…” (1 John 5:17 NLT). “…SIN IS the transgression of the law….” (1 John 3:4 KJV).

SIN IS BREAKING GOD’S HOLY LAW. Breaking God’s Holy Law SEPARATES the HOLY SPIRIT from YOU. “…Your INIQUITIESseparated … you and your God…” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV).

Sin, therefore, is an INNATE CONDITION of the flesh, every male and female is born with, because they inherited the sin nature from Adam and Eve"…That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit…” (John 3:6 KJV).

Adam and Eve could ONLY reproduce what they had become, FLESH; they were SEPARTED from God, the Holy Spirit. Thus, “… all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (is born without the presence of the indwelling Holy Spirit)…” (Romans 3:23 KJV).

,,, [Therefore,] ...through one man sin entered (physical life without the indwelling Holy Spirit entered) into the world, and [spiritual] ...death through sin, and so [spiritual] death passed to all men, for that all sinned (all have been born without the indwelling Holy Spirit]—“(Romans 5:12 KJV). “…All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God…” (Romans 3:23). “….I was born a sinner (I was born without the indwelling holy spirit)yes, from the moment my mother conceived me….” (Psalms 51:5 NLT).

“... When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought [spiritual] ... death, so [spiritual] ... death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned (is born without the indwelling Holy Spirit) ... But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought [spiritual] death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ. And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God (being restored, reunited with the Holy Spirit again), even though we are guilty of many sins. For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ...” (Romans 5:10-16 NLT).

“…, my righteous servant (Jesus) ... [made]... it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins…” (Isaiah 53:11 NLT). “… [He sent the ] …one … who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus…” (1 Timothy 2:5 NLT).

“…Jesus Christ maketh thee whole (SAVES, RESTORES , AND MAKES YOU WHOLE YOU AGAIN)…” (Acts 9:34 KJV). “... It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm (enduring) and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery...” (Galatians 5:1 NASB).

Adam and Eve were both, originally, MADE whole, but HAD the FREEDOM of choice. You are ALSO made whole again and HAVE the FREEDOM of CHOICE. Therefore, “... Stand fast (keep enduring) therefore in the liberty (freedom from sin) wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage...” (Galatians 5:1 KJV).
