“… [YOUR] … iniquities (sin) …separated [YOU]… from God… …” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). “…Confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and … BELIEVE IN THINE HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be SAVED…” (ROMANS 10:9 KJV). “…Jesus Christ maketh thee whole (RESTORES YOU AGAIN)…” (Acts 9:34 KJV). “…The GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ ….” (Romans 6:23 KJV). “….Apart from [Jesus or DEPARTED from HIM, YOU can]… do nothing (you cannot be SAVED or have ETERNAL LIFE)…” (John 15:5 NIV).

SIN IS BREAKING GOD’S HOLY LAW. Breaking God’s Holy Law SEPARATES the HOLY SPIRIT from YOU. “…SIN is the transgression of the... [Holy] ... law….” (1 John 3:4 KJV). God’s HOLY Law/Word, reveals SIN. Paul said, “…I had not known SIN, but by the law: for I had not known LUST, except the law had said, THOU SHALT NOT COVET…” (Romans 7:7 KJV). “…It was the law that showed me my sin. I would never have known that coveting is wrong if the law had not said, “You must not covet.” (Romans 7:7 NLT).  

Sin IS the INNATE, TERMINAL CONDITION of the flesh. Every male and female is born with a sin nature, which was inherited from Adam and Eve and excludes the indwelling Holy Spirit."…That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit…” (John 3:6 KJV). “… all have sinned (all have a sin nature), and come short of the glory of God (is born without the presence of the indwelling Holy Spirit)…” (Romans 3:23 KJV).

When you are SAVED, God is NOT merely delivering you from SIN; he is FREEING you “FROM” the terminal condition of sin, which is spiritual death. More importantly he is RESTORING you BACK to his original CREATIVE wholeness! “…Jesus Christ maketh thee whole (SAVES YOU, restores you, and makes you whole again)…” (Acts 9:34 KJV). NLT). “…I pray [to God that] ... [HIS indwelling Holy]...SPIRIT and [your] ...SOUL and BODY be preserved [together again] ... blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ…” (1 Thessalonians 5:23 KJV). “….He restoreth my soul….” (PSALM 23:1-3 NLT).

When he ORIGINALLY created MAN, they had a body, soul, and the indwelling Holy Spirit. God said, “….LET US MAKE man … after our likeness…” (Genesis 1:26 KJV). “…in his own image…..male and female created he them…” (Genesis 1:27 KJV).

God is the HOLY SPIRIT; so ANY imagine or likeness, we have, has to be related to his Holy Spirit. “…GOD IS SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV). “…The Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE…” (John 3:6 NLT).  “…GOD IS SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV).  “…The Spirit of God dwell[s]… in you…” (Romans 8:9 KJV). “…The Lord is that Spirit…” (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV). “…Jesus Christ is IN YOU…” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). “….Apart from [Jesus, the Word]…[you can]..do nothing (you cannot be spiritually united, again, with God, the Holy Spirit)…” (John 15:5 NIV).

“…And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground (body), and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (Holy Spirit); and man became a living soul (soul)…” (GENESIS 2:7 KJV). “….God saw every thing he had made……and, [said] … it was VERY GOOD…” (Genesis 1:31 KJV).

 “...LET US MAKE man in our image, after our likeness…” (Genesis 1:26 KJV).  “…And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground (body), and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (Holy Spirit); and man became a living soul (soul)…” (GENESIS 2:7 KJV). 

Adam and Eve was originally CREATED WHOLE (body, soul, and the indwelling Holy Spirit).

The “SAVED”  are created WHOLE again (body, soul, and the indwelling Holy Spirit)

 “...Therefore if any man (woman) be in Christ, he (she) is a new creature (made “whole”  again by the indwelling holy spirit)...” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “…Jesus Christ maketh thee whole (AGAIN)…” (Acts 9:34 KJV). “…God ... Himself SANCTIFY you entirely; and may [HIS indwelling Holy]... Spirit and [your]... soul and body be preserved [together again]... complete…” (1 Thessalonians 5:23 NASB).

“ONCE SAVED; ALWAYS SAVED?”ARE YOU SURE?  Adam and Eve was MADE or CREATED WHOLE (body, soul, and the indwelling Holy Spirit), BUT they HAD the FREEDOM to CHOOSE!

The SAVED are MADE or CREATED (new creations) WHOLE again (body, soul, and the indwelling Holy Spirit, BUT they also HAVE the FREEDOM to CHOOSE.

When the SAVED are FREED from SIN, everything is FREE, because they are RESTORED and MADE WHOLE again (body, soul, and the indwelling Holy Spirit).

Adam and Eve, at one time, had the FREEDOM to choose righteousness or unrighteousness, but LOST the power to choose righteousness WHEN they became SLAVES to sin. “…Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” (Romans 6:16 KJV). We know "… that the whole world lies under the power of the evil one” (1 John 5:19 RSV).

Like Adam and Eve, as NEW CREATIONS, your human WILL is still intact. In addition, the OLD mindset is STILL in TACT. 

The flesh will continue to attempt to operate or control you through the old mindset by affecting your thoughts and influencing your behavior “…The sinful nature (body) wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the [Holy] Spirit wants. And the [Holy] Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature (body) desires. These TWO FORCES are constantly fighting each other, so you are not FREE (without choosing to WALK in your
“new” FREEDOM,) to carry out your good intentions. … …” (Galatians 5 NLT).

UNLESS you choose to trust in or depend upon the “power” of the WORD OF GOD to TRANSFORM your MIND, it WON’T be transformed. “… Be transformed by the renewing of your mind (the renewing of the mind will empower you to put demands upon the old mindset and take authority over the flesh)….” (Romans 12:2 KJV). Otherwise, “….you [will become] ... slaves of the one you obey (follow)…” (Romans 6:16 NIV). Therefore, “... discipline [your] ... body and make it [your]... slave...” (1 Corinthians 9:27 NASB). “…The sinful nature is always hostile to God (therefore, the old mindset, affected by the sinful nature, is also hostile to God). It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature (through the old mindset) can never please God. But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT). “… (Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the [indwelling Holy] ... Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God (reunited with God, the Holy Spirit). The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT). “…Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do (through the dictates of your old mindset) what your sinful nature urges you to do. For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit (the indwelling Holy Spirit) you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God (the indwelling Holy Spirit) are children of God…” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT). “…Who will free me from this life that is dominated by (the old mindset which is affected and polluted by) SIN? …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). “… The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord (the indwelling Holy Spirit too)…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). Jesus had another name. “… His name is called The Word of God…” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB). “…THE WORDS ... they ARE SPIRIT,…” (John 6:63 KJV). “… Jesus (the WORD of GOD) …came and SPAKE, unto them saying, “All POWER is given unto me (the word) IN heaven and earth…” (Matthew 28:18 KJV). “… Be transformed by the renewing of your mind (through the WORD)….” (Romans 12:2 KJV). “…If the Son (the word) therefore shall make you free, you SHALL be free indeed (without a doubt!!)…” (John 8:36 KJV). 

PEOPLE CAN NOT DELIVER THEMSELVES FROM THE BONDAGE, PRISON, OR SLAVERY OF THE SINFUL NATURE or its TERMINAL CONDITION. “…I want to do what is right, but I can’t. I want to do what is good, but I don’t…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). “…Who will free me (DELIVER ME) from this life that is dominated by SIN (THE SINFUL NATURE WITHOUT THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT)  …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). “…Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord (THE WORD OF GOD CAN DELIVER YOU)…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). “… [JESUS CHRIST, the WORD of GOD]… It is the power of God at work , saving (FREEING FROM SIN) everyone who believes (DEPENDS UPON THE POWER OF HIS WORD)…” (Romans 1:16 NLT). 

The SINFUL NATURE no longer has “ANY” CONTROL over the SOUL that is REJOINED with the HOLY SPIRIT. That SOUL, reunited with God, the Holy Spirit, has been MADE FREED from the POWER of SIN. “…Because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death (spiritual death) …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT). “…God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son (THE WORD, HIS indwelling Holy Power) as a sacrifice for our sins. He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit...So letting your sinful nature control your mind (command center of the SOUL) leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind (by RENEWING the command center of the SOUL) leads to life and peace.” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT). 

GOD HAS FREED YOU FROM SIN, NOT TO CONTINUE TO SIN, BUT TO EMPOWER YOU, THROUGH HIS INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT, TO FREELY LIVE RIGHTEOUS!

THEREFORE, “… Be transformed by the renewing of your mind….” (Romans 12:2 KJV). “…Because you belong to him, …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT). “… the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin  …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).“…God declared an end to sin’s control over us...” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).

Before the FALL, Adam and Even was FREE from any kind of sin, free from a sinful nature, its affects, its influences, and its consequences. In addition, God, the husbandman and ULITIMATE CAREGIVER GAVE them providence.  “...God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have DOMINION over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth….” (Genesis 1:26-28 KJV).

He also GAVE them one HOLY instruction:  “…of every tree of the garden THOU MAYEST FREELY EAT: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou  SHALT NOT EAT of it; for in THE DAY THAT THOU EATEST thereof THOU SHALT SURELY DIE…” (Genesis 2:16-17 KJV). 

 BUT“…The woman [became] ... convinced [to eat from the tree, anyway]... She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it...” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT). 

 “….She [CHOOSE to take] ... some of the fruit and [eat] ... IT. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and HE ATE IT, too …” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).

“.... At that moment their eyes were opened…” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).  At that moment, “…[their] ...INIQUITIES … separated … [them from] ... God…” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). “…It’s YOUR SINS that … [will] ...cut you off from God…” (Isaiah 59:2 NLT).

A willful, voluntarily, and FREE human decision to ignore God’s holy instruction cut them OFF from God, the Holy Spirit or SEPARATED them from God, the Holy Spirit. “…It’s YOUR SINS that … [will] ...cut you off from God…” (Isaiah 59:2 NLT).

Adam and Eve, who were FREE from sin, at the time, and FREE to CHOOSE, decided, on their OWN volition, to ACT against God’s WORD. “… [YOU CHOOSE]... this day whom ye will serve….” (Joshua 24:15 KJV).

They freely CHOSE to do the opposite of what God’s Word instructed them to do. Choices have consequences and God fully disclosed to them what those consequences will be if they CHOSE “NOT” to listen to his Word. “... THE DAY THAT THOU EATEST thereof THOU SHALT SURELY DIE…” (Genesis 2:16-17 KJV). 

SIN, the rejecting of God’s HOLY instructions, separated them from God, the Holy Spirit. “…[Their] ...INIQUITIES … separated … [them from] ... God…” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). 

From that time, until NOW, everyone, born into the world, is born without the indwelling Holy Spirit. “…All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God…” (Romans 3:23). “….I was born a sinner (I was born without the indwelling holy spirit)….” (Psalms 51:5 NLT).

Everyone is born with ONLY a sin nature. Everyone will eventually become a SLAVE to sin, and they cannot, on their own, be restored to WHOLENESS or REUNITE with God, the Holy Spirit, without an act of God’s GRACE. 

The sinful nature ONLY knows how to SIN. Sins are the symptoms of the terminal condition of “that” nature. “….I was born a sinner ….” (Psalms 51:5 NLT).  “...I want to do what is right, but I can’t. I want to do what is good, but I don’t. …I [am] …a slave to the sin (the symptoms of that terminal condition) …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). “…the wages of sin (the terminal condition) is death…” (Romans 6:23 KJV). “…For all have sinned (all have this terminal condition)…” (Romans 3:23 KJV). “…all have ... come short of the glory of God (all are born WITHOUT the indwelling Holy Spirit)…” (Romans 3:23 KJV).

HOWEVER, “…God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 KJV). “... Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (substitute, intervention) for our sins.” (1 John 4:10 KJV). “…Christ (the HEALING solution or CURE for the terminal condition of sin) also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us [back] to God …” (1 Peter 3:18 KJV). 

That he might bring us back into UNITY and WHOLENESS with God, the Holy Spirit.

“…Because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death (spiritual death) …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT). “…God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins. He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit....” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT). 

Even though, “... In Him .., you WERE SEALED ... WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE.…” (Ephesians 1 NLT).  “... the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,....” (Hebrews 4:12 NASB). 

You ARE sealed, but the WORD of God has the POWER to CUT asunder the SEAL that bonds the SOUL AND SPIRIT just like God did back in the GARDEN. “.... At that moment their eyes were opened…” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).  At that moment, “… [their] ...INIQUITIES … separated … [them from] ... God (the HOLY SPIRIT)…” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). “…It’s YOUR SINS that … [will] ...cut you off from God, (the HOLY SPIRIT)…” (Isaiah 59:2 NLT).

 When the WORD TELLS you “SIN” will put a separation between YOU and God, the Holy Spirit, IT WILL! Sin will CUT you OFF from or break the SEAL, you have, with God, the Holy Spirit. “…Your INIQUITIES … separated … you and your God…” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). “…you have been cut off from Christ (from JESUS CHRIST)! You have fallen away from God’s GRACE…” (Galatians 5:4 NLT).

God NEVER changes. “…I change NOT…” (Malachi 3:6 KJV). “…It’s YOUR SINS that … [will] ...cut you off from God…” (Isaiah 59:2 NLT). . “…Your INIQUITIES … [will] ...separated … you and your God…” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). “…what fellowship (CONNECTION OR RELATIONSHIP) hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion (CONNECTION OR RELATIONSHIP) hath light with darkness? And what concord (RELATIONSHIP OR CONNECTION) hath Christ (the Word of TRUTH) with Belial (the DEVIL or Father of LIES)? Or what part (CONNECTION OR RELATIONSHIP) hath he that believeth (depends upon God) with an infidel (one who doesn’t depend upon God)?” (2 Corinthians 6:14-15 KJV).

“... In Him .., you WERE SEALED ...WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE.…” (Ephesians 1 NLT).  However, “... the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit ...” (Hebrews 4:12 NASB). 

“…It’s YOUR SINS that … [will] ...cut you off from God…” (Isaiah 59:2 NLT). “…you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s GRACE…” (Galatians 5:4 NLT).

The SIN, I am speaking about, is not your mistakes, shortcomings, imperfections, weaknesses, or failures, which is common to those who are TRAINING for HOLINESS (training to be FREE from sin). YOU ARE no longer dominated by the LIMITATIONS of the sin nature UNLESS you CHOOSE to be. “…The trouble is with me, for I am all too human, a slave to [the sin nature]. …I don’t really understand myself, for I want to [be holy] …but I don’t [allow myself to depend upon God’s indwelling Spirit]... Instead, I do what I hate. So I am not the one doing wrong; it is [the sinful nature]… living in me that does it.  And I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. I want to [be holy) … [which]… is right, BUT I CAN’T…Who will free me from this life that is dominated by [unholiness]?” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).  

“…The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).  “If the Son therefore shall make you free, you SHALL be free indeed…” (John 8:36 KJV). “….Apart from [the indwelling spirit],.. [you]… can do nothing…” (John 15:5 NIV).   

Jesus, therefore, EMPOWERS you to be Holy through the indwelling Holy Spirit. He will “…strengthened [you]… with might by his Spirit in the inner man…” (Ephesians 3:16 KJV). “… [He strengthens you]…according to the POWER that worketh IN [YOU]…” (Ephesians 3:20 KJV). “… God  … work[s] … in … [you] … what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ…” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “…the Father... [that DWELLS within YOU]… he doeth the works…” (John 14:10 KJV).

HOLINESS is the HIGHEST standard of conduct for God’s people and without the indwelling HOLY SPIRIT it would be IMPOSSIBLE for THEM to be holy on their OWN efforts. Thankfully, “…The things which are impossible with men … [are] …POSSIBLE… [with God] …” (Luke 18:27 KJV).   “…I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27 KJV). “…HE WHICH HATH “BEGUN” A GOOD “WORK” IN [YOU]… “WILL” “PERFORM” IT “UNTIL” the day of Jesus Christ…” (Philippians 1:6 KJV).

Apostle Paul said we are to REALIZE: “…[we] ... are … A HOLY NATION…” (1 Peter 2:9 NASB).  He, himself was“….set apart for the gospel of God...” (Romans 1:1 NASB).  “…God anointed ( also set apart) Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and POWER…” (Acts 10:38 NIV).Thus, “…you are … A HOLY  (set apart) NATION…” (1 Peter 2:9 NASB). 

Therefore, YOU ARE “FREE” FROM SIN. YOUR TESTS, TRIALS, AND TRIBULATIONS COME TO TRAIN YOU IN HOLINESS, SET YOU APART, and TO EMPOWER YOU TO WALK FREE FROM SIN. : “…be holy (BE FREE FROM SIN)…” (1 Peter 1:16 KJV).  “…ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy (FREE FROM SIN)…” (Leviticus 20:26 KJV). ^“…It is God who works (holiness) IN YOU …” (Philippians 2:13 NIV). 

Thus, HOLINESS is “NOT” something you can DO in your “owN” efforts. “…the Father that dwelleth in … [you], he doeth the works (of making YOU HOLY)…” (John 14:10 KJV). ^“…God …works in you … TO ACT (TO EMPOWER YOU TO BE HOLY) in order to fulfill his good purpose…” (Philippians 2:13 NIV).  “ … God … equip you (with the indwelling Holy Spirit) with everything good for doing his will (becoming HOLY like he is) …” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV)

^“… “Therefore, come out from their midset and be separate (SET APART BY HIS HOLINESS/FREEDOM FROM SIN),” says the Lord. “ ... And do not touch what is unclean…” (2 Corinthians 6:13-17 NASB).“…Ye shall be holy unto me…” (Leviticus 20:26 KJV). ^“… 

God has SUPPLIED all you NEED to live FREE from SIN. “…His DIVINE POWER hath given unto us ALL THINGS that pertain unto life and godliness…” (2 Peter 1:3 KJV). “…I will supply all your NEED…” (John 12:32 KJV). ). “...He careth for you.” (1 Peter 5:7 KJV). “…The LORD (the indwelling Spirit) “WILL” accomplish (take care of)…that which concerns [you]…” (John 14:31 NASB). “…God is the one who provides …” (2 Corinthians 9:10-13 KJV).  “…God will generously PROVIDE all you need (INCLUDING HOLINESS)…” (2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT). “…HE (the indwelling Holy Spirit) “WILL” KEEP YOU STRONG to the end…” (1 Corinthians 1:8 NLT). “…the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works (OF MAKING YOU HOLY)…” (John 14:10 KJV).

However, FALLING AWAY or DEPARTING from the LIVING GOD IS the “SIN” of "UNBELIEF. "…My people would not listen to me. They kept doing whatever they wanted, following the stubborn desires of their evil hearts. They went backward instead of forward” (Jeremiah 7:24 NLT). “…We will continue to live as we want to, stubbornly following our own evil desires” (JEREMIAH 18:12 NLT). “…Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God” (Hebrews 3:12 KJV). 

“…from within, out of the heart of man, proceed evil thoughts… wickedness…All these evil things come from within, and defile a person.” (Mark 7:21-23 KJV). The heart “…is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked…” (Jeremiah 17:9 KJV). "... CURSED be the man (woman) that trusteth in MAN (even him or herself)… whose heart DEPARtETH from the Lord...." (Jeremiah 17:5 KJV). "... Without faith (without dependence upon the POWER of his Holy Word) it is IMPOSSIBLE to please [God]; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is [that he is who he REVEALS himself to be], and that he is a REWARDER of them that diligently SEEK him..." (Hebrews 11:6 KJV). 

Thus, “…I HAVE SOMEWHAT AGAINST THEE… [YOU HAVE]…LEFT YOUR FIRST LOVE…” (REVELATION 2:4).

“…I KNOW THY [RELIGIOUS) WORKS AND THY LABOR…” (REVELATION 2:2 KJV).“... Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:21-23 KJV).

 “…THOU ARE FALLEN …” (REVELATION 2:2 KJV).

ETERNAL LIFE IS THE DESTINATION, BUT JESUS IS THE WAY TO THAT DESTINATION. IF YOU FALL OFF THE WAY, YOU WON'T MAKE IT TO THE DESTINATION. HOWEVER, THOSE WHO ENDURE (ABIDE IN THE WAY) TO THE END; WILL BE SAVED!
